She looked at the young man who had been nothing but tolerant of her and smiled. "Yep, we are done talking!"

"I hope it went well!" he nervously said, and she beamed at him, "It went perfectly well!"

Sean didn’t know what to think about that but when he thought about his friend, he suddenly calmed down and smiled at Ruby. "That’s good. Now that this is over, how about we chill and talk while we wait for your sister to finish whatever she is doing!"

Upon hearing about her sister, Ruby looked around before her gaze landed on Diamond who was standing on the stage monitoring the fans’ departure.

There were still more people in the stadium and it was going to take a while. So, why not?

She didn’t refuse.

Sean was very happy to hear about that and decided to take a walk away from Diamond. It would be bad if she spotted him. Who knows what kind of interrogation he might find himself in?

While the two were going their way for a late-night date, Waylon didn’t leave but made his way to Diamond with a mask over his face.

He was itching to have a chat with her, and he couldn’t wait.

Luckily, the drones weren’t recording Diamond at the moment but showing the fans inside and outside of the stadium.

{Mother, daddy number 2 is approaching,} As she was busy checking the progress, Diamond heard the notification from Andrea and her lips twitched.

"You are already calling him daddy?" she asked teasingly, turning her head to look in the direction Waylon was coming from.

{Hehe, didn’t you give him a three-month trial period?} Andrea chucklingly asked, resurfacing some fresh memories that made her blush.

Diamond was forced to remember those particular events that transpired and made her see Waylon in a new light.

Just last night, she went on a dinner date to his place. It was supposed to be casual with no spices added. She wasn’t supposed to jump at the young man at all but her lustful body got the better of her.

The two ended up getting embroiled in intimacy that made her realize how bold she was becoming with each passing second.

Unfortunately, they didn’t go any further than where they stopped. Though she might have pursued the matter but rationality took over.

After freshening up, Waylon was a bit shy, but she was thick-skinned, so it didn’t really matter to her what had happened. They were both adults, and they did what they did consensually. No one was forced, and they both enjoyed it. So, why sulk?

With him being so shy, Diamond understood the concept of going after what she wanted. She also understood his feelings, so she went straight at it and told him, "If you want to date me. I can give you a three-month trial. As long as you can manage to move me and make me happier than I already am. I will be your girlfriend."

Although it sounded a bit absurd, she couldn’t help it. She could have made him hers right there but when she thought about Gael, she could only suppress her eagerness. At least in the future, if she were to celebrate anniversaries. It won’t be a few weeks apart. That would be too shameful for her.

Diamond didn’t plan on letting Waylon go. When she knew that he was with someone. She cancelled her feelings for him but after knowing that he was single. He was hers for the taking.

She decided to keep him on the leash for a moment and hoped that he wouldn’t let her down.

Surely, Waylon was eager and happy to oblige with that condition. And the first step towards that was to send her home like the gentleman he is.

She just didn’t know that Waylon was friends with Ruby. That was completely unexpected.

It didn’t take long before Waylon was on the stage with Diamond.

"Dee!" he called out to her while fixing the mask.

Diamond rolled her eyes at him and the young man let out a chuckle. "You looked amazing earlier. I couldn’t tear my eyes off you!" and that made her beam.

"Flatterer!"

Waylon approached as he chuckled. "I only flatter you!"

She shook her head helplessly wondering when he became so thick-skinned.

Didn’t he see that there were still many fans watching, and he actually dared to come to her?

Nevertheless, this kind of boldness. She liked.

"Then continue to flatter me more!" she shamelessly responded as she beckoned him to her side, and he eagerly obliged.

The two of them stood side by side. Waylon was a head taller than Diamond and when standing together, they made quite a great pair.

Some fans at the back saw the two of them standing together and what did they do?

Took a lot of photos to share later. They were curious whether this man was their brother-in-law or another male friend. Either way, they were going to dig into everyone until they find the man who stole their idol’s heart.

The two of them weren’t aware of what was happening but busy talking about other things.

"Dee, when are you going to the police station?"

"Um, the day after tomorrow. Why do you ask?"

"Oh~ I thought that it would be tomorrow. I wanted to drive you there," he responded sulkily, and she laughed.

"Hehe, you are that eager?"

"I can’t help myself. I need to earn brownie points."

’You are already earning them,’ she said inwardly but not out loud lest he becomes unruly with ego.

"Haven’t you finished your exams?"

"We did, but we still have other things to do next week," he dejectedly responded, feeling awful for not being able to miss the classes for this week despite the exams done.

Diamond chuckled when she heard that. School was a pain in the ass sometimes but what could be done?

"When are you closing the semester?"

"On the 6th of June," he answered.

Diamond did some mental calculations and beamed as she looked at him.

"That’s pretty soon. Only a week or so to go!"

"But it’s still far!"

"Don’t complain. In another semester, you will be done with your studies."

"I look forward to that day."

"I will be cheering you on!"

The two talked about school for a while before the topic changed.

"Dee, I heard from my aunt that you will be endorsing our hospital. When are you doing that?"

When she heard that, she remembered that Ivy had indeed talked about that matter with the hospital director. But what date was agreed upon?

She might have forgotten.

{Mother, it was agreed that you will work on that on the 2nd of June,} Andrea came to the rescue.

"The second of June," she answered steadily.

Waylon’s eyes beamed when he heard that.

"I think I might be able to sneak out and come and see you. When are you doing it?"

"Um, should be in the morning."

"I will see what to do!" Waylon was eager to spend more time with Diamond. He was willing to do any tricks he could to achieve that.

The two potential lovers were engrossed in their conversation, they had no clue that briefly for just seconds, the naughty drone captured them and the million viewers saw them leading to the barrage going crazy.

The one who suffered the most was Ivy who was scolding Andrea for being naughty.

[Come on! We need them to get used to it. Do you think that mother will continue hiding them in the future? The sooner they get the clues, the sooner we will save future problems!]

When he defends himself righteously like that? What could Ivy do? she could only rack her brain for solutions.

Meanwhile, Ruby and Sean’s conversation was on track and it was going so well. However, while walking back towards the stage, the two happened to spot Diamond and Waylon who were having a blast on the stage. Ruby staggered and Sean caught her.

"This .... You," she stammered as she pointed at Waylon, her hand shaking and not knowing what to say.

Sean cursed Waylon for being too impatient. How could he go after Diamond after facing Ruby?

Of course, he forgot that Waylon from day one never had any feelings towards Ruby. So why should he hold back?

"Sean, what is happening?" Ruby asked with a trembling voice, not wanting to accept what she was seeing.

Although she had accepted his rejection. The thought of Waylon being in love with Diamond kinda hurt.

Sean upon seeing her state, didn’t know whether to lie or be truthful but then he thought about his love for Ruby. For once he wanted to be a bit selfish, so he uttered the truth.

"Lon, he is in love with your sister and the two are friends."

Thankfully, he had no idea that their relationship had upgraded. Otherwise, he might have spilt the beans out of spite.

Ruby felt her head spinning when she heard that. How could that be possible?

"He ..... she," she stammered, not finding the right words to utter and Sean took that moment to calm her down although he had a feeling that he might offend her.

"Ruby, you need to face the truth. You have talked with him earlier, didn’t you?"

Ruby closed her eyes as she thought about everything making Sean panic for a moment. However, when she opened her eyes, she burst into a mocking laughter that made Sean felt bad.

He shouldn’t have sold his friend like that. How impulsiveness might cause a rift between sisters. Did he want to see that?

Unfortunately, he didn’t know what she was thinking about.

After laughing for a while, Ruby calmed herself down and looked at Sean.

"I am fine. Let’s continue. My sister won’t be leaving anytime soon," she spoke in a calm voice that made Sean panic and wonder what was going on in her mind.

Nonetheless, he still followed her and they didn’t continue the same path they were going but another way.
