"We'll escape through the Underworld Elevator."

Corey looked at Divine with raised brows and a tinge of skepticism the moment he heard these words, and it could not be helped.

"From what I understand about the map of the Underworld, there's no exit in the Underworld Elevator. So how do you plan on escaping through the Underworld Elevator."

Divine grinned, and then he tapped the side of his head, "You have to think outside the box, my brother. You have to think outside the box."

Corey furrowed his brows, and although some thoughts and ideas flowed into his mind, he wanted to know what in the world was going through Divine's head.

"Enlighten me."

"We'll take an Underworld Elevator to the Amphitheatre since that's the only place we can go to anytime with the elevator. We can't wait till meal time since we're clearly on a time limit."

The moment Divine said these words, he paused, and his eyes widened as he snapped his head towards Corey in slight horror.

"Wait! Don't we have less than thirty minutes to leave the Underworld before we're fucking chased by the Underworld?!"

Corey's lips twitched, "We do... Less than thirty minutes actually. We have twenty-two minutes left."

Divine's eyes widened in disbelief, "Then why are we just standing here?! Why are you so calm?!"

Corey's lips twitched repeatedly and he could not help but ask, "Did you perhaps fry your brain when you were fighting the members of the Black Mandate?"

"Damn it, kid. We don't have time for this. Let's go."

'Now I'm a kid again?'

Corey reeled in his urge to give Divine a beating or two, and he stood while carrying Rosa like a princess. Even as he carried her, he did not stop using Dream Healing to heal her.

After using an extremely high level healing ability that could not only heal one's physical body but spirit and mind, Corey began to see positive changes in her body.

She had begun breathing, although extremely faintly, it was progress that gave Corey and Divine hope.

Corey shifted his gaze from Rosa to Divine who had walked away from him and was now approaching the corpses of Dave, Fatty Black Bonez, and Triple X.

He said nothing, and then he saw Divine storing their corpses in a spatial storage artifact.

"They deserve to be buried outside the Underworld, not in this damned place."

Corey nodded with a solemn expression, and then he opened his right palm. Divine looked at him in surprise, and his expression changed to one of disgust when he saw fifteen strange insects appearing above Corey's hand.

"What are those?"

Divine asked, and Corey replied indifferently.

"Maledro's Gu."

The moment Corey said these words, the insects flew and went in separate directions.

Divine dodged one of the Maledro's Gu that had almost touched him with disgust and a tinge of fear in his eyes.

"What do you plan on doing with them?"

Divine asked as he watched the Maledro's Gu flying in separate directions. They were so small and tiny that unless they disturbed an individual, they would mostly be ignored by everybody.

In fact, Divine noticed that at some point, it was taking all he had to not lose track of the strange little insects.

"There are some things I need to have since we're leaving the Underworld."

"Like?"

"Like the entire Central Library."

Divine blinked in surprise and confusion, and although he wanted to ask more questions, he decided not to. They had bigger things to worry about.

A few seconds later, Corey looked down with a slight furrow of his brows and Divine noticed his expression.

"What's wrong?"

"Well, I just tried looking for Kiefer and Selene but I didn't find them. Instead, I found something strange."

"Strange?"

Divine looked down with raised brows, and his eyes glowed with a flaming red light.

A few seconds later, he frowned, "You're right. Although I can't see anything strange, I can sense their heat signatures, and where they are is far beneath the building."

Divine frowned, and so did Corey.

"I didn't know that there was an underground structure beneath the Neon Headquarters."

Corey looked at Divine, and Divine shook his head when he saw Corey's questioning expression.

"I didn't know too."

Corey's frown deepened, and he didn't know why but he had a bad feeling about their discovery.

"So? What should we do? Are we abandoning them since we're on a time limit or are we going to them?... They're your underlings, so it's your call."

Corey looked at Divine with a raised brow, and he scoffed. Runes appeared around him and beneath his feet, and in the blink of an eye a large hole appeared beneath his feet.

"Don't be too slow. You know we don't have much time."

Without waiting for a response from Divine, Corey fell into the hole.

A grin appeared on Divine's lips, and he ran and jumped into the hole.

"I guess you aren't so heartless after all."

Corey completely ignored Divine's words and focused on what he was doing. He controlled the earth runes around him to continuously make a perfectly round large tunnel as he and Divine fell.

The speed of his descent was extremely fast, but his ability to control the earth runes was high and the speed at which the tunnel was continuously being created was even getting faster and faster.

With his Eyes of Omniscience, Corey was able to see through the earth and was able to make appropriate adjustments to the runes.

Divine saw all of this and although he already knew just how impressive Corey was, he was still awed by Corey's level of control and ability.

Their descent continued for approximately two minutes, cutting the time they had left to just twenty minutes.

Corey had a slight frown when he realized just how deep they had gone.

Two minutes might seem like a short time but the speed of their descent was not slow at all.

If Corey was not wrong, they had been falling for almost seventy kilometres!

That was extremely deep, and he could not help but wonder how in the world Kiefer and Selene reached such depths.

'I'm having a bad feeling about this.'
