Chapter 150: Chapter 150: Hate Her, Disgust Her, Never Love Her Again

The smile on Evelyn’s lips slowly faded, and her expression turned completely bleak.

Caden Lockwood’s words to her at the hospital echoed in her ears, saying she was just like those women outside, making him feel sick, and he had almost forced himself on her...

Thinking about it, Evelyn shivered heavily, took a deep breath, and her delicate face was full of frustration.

Her nose felt sour, and she wanted to call Caden Lockwood, ask if he could come back, or perhaps she could go find him.

But she didn’t know what she should discuss with him.

He hated her so much, found her so disgusting; she could even feel that at the hospital, he could have taken her completely.

The reason he didn’t do so was...because he despised her.

What right does a person he despises have to appear in front of him again?

She was despondent and helpless, contemplating how she could reconcile with Caden Lockwood.

Her phone rang at this moment; it was an unfamiliar number.

Could it be...Caden Lockwood calling from a new phone?

Thinking this, her eyes lit up, and she immediately pressed the call button.

"Hello!" Her voice was anxious.

"Evelyn Morgan?" The voice on the other end was a stranger’s, "You’ve hurt yourself enough, why must you also hurt Logan Shaw?"

"Who are you?" Evelyn furrowed her brows, suppressing her disappointment, knowing it wasn’t Caden Lockwood, and asked again, "How have I hurt Logan Shaw?"

"The piano at your school is the first piano of his life, given by his deceased mother as an heirloom. He donated it, hoping that more people could use it, allowing it to serve its rightful value." The woman spoke with dissatisfaction.

Pausing, she continued, "But because of you, that piano is now set to be remodeled, completely dismantled leaving only a few original parts, isn’t this destruction? Furthermore, because of you, Logan Shaw’s music career will come to an end!"

"Because of me?" Evelyn was bewildered, "You’re mistaken, aren’t you? How could I have such capability?"

After speaking, she thought of Caden Lockwood.

The only person she knew capable of all this, apart from him, was no one else.

But, he wasn’t someone who would do such a thing!

"Logan Shaw’s concert that was initially set has suddenly been announced as canceled, if you still have a conscience, do something for him!" Saying this, the woman hung up.

Evelyn was puzzled, the woman’s words in the call were clearly hinting at Caden Lockwood being behind all this.

She didn’t believe it.

With the matter of Finn Lewis happening earlier, she must verify the truth of this.

Otherwise, why should she believe a stranger’s words?

Thinking this, she immediately called Logan Shaw.

Upon connecting, Evelyn immediately asked, "Is the school’s piano going to be remodeled? Also...your concert can’t happen as scheduled?"

"How do you know these?" Logan Shaw asked.

"Is it true?" Evelyn was more anxious, "Are these...all true?"

"Don’t concern yourself with this matter." Logan Shaw said softly, "I can handle it myself, just focus on recovering, alright?"

Holding the phone, Evelyn’s guilt deepened in her heart.

"Is it..." Her voice trembled, eyes filled with intense unease, very softly she asked, "Was it Caden Lockwood’s doing?"
