"There’s food?" Evelyn touched her stomach, which was empty.

She hugged Cecilia Lynch tightly, delighting, "Cece, you’re so great, just like the River Fairy descended to the world! Marry me, will you? We could spend our lives together happily!"

"It’s not me who prepared it; it was Logan Shaw," Cecilia Lynch rolled her eyes, "Selling yourself out for a meal—you really are cheap, aren’t you?"

"Then...where is he?" Evelyn was a bit dazed, "I didn’t see him!"

Her mind was still foggy, unable to handle complex thoughts.
