Slowly Falling into His Love Trap-Chapter 207:
"Do it!" Caden Lockwood commanded roughly.
After glaring at Evelyn Morgan, he carried the basin to empty the water, his figure both strong and comforting.
Evelyn Morgan pouted, hesitated for a while, then lay in bed, inhaling the scent unique to Caden Lockwood, she felt a sense of belonging, like finding her home.
So perplexing!
Even she couldn’t understand herself! 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
At that moment, Caden Lockwood returned, naturally lying beside Evelyn Morgan.
She immediately shrank to the side of the bed, but he furrowed his brows and pulled her into his arms, leaving no chance for her to flee.
"I..."
"Shut up!" he cut off her attempt to escape with authority.
She sighed helplessly and obediently stayed in his arms, knowing well that there had been many misunderstandings during their time apart.
She had even thought he and Shannon Dunn were a couple!
Now it seemed they were just colleagues!
Her mind was buzzing with thoughts, her lovely face looking lively and sweet.
She thought he might say something, but after waiting and waiting, he didn’t say a word.
He just held her, as if he had already fallen asleep.
With her face pressed against his chest, listening to his heartbeat, each beat steady and strong, bringing her peace of mind.
As if, with him there, there was no need to worry about anything in life.
Evelyn Morgan sighed softly, and just when she thought she and Caden Lockwood would surely part ways, they reconciled again.
This feeling, how strange!
No matter how much she thought about it, she couldn’t figure it out, and sighed deeply once more.
Suddenly, she felt the arms around her waist tighten, and Caden’s rough voice sounded in her ear, "Be quiet, I can’t stand you breathing."
Evelyn Morgan was puzzled and asked instinctively, "Why?"
As soon as she asked, her cheeks flushed crimson.
Oh heavens!
To him, her breathing was an allure?
Only then did she realize something hard was pressing against her thigh, rough and burning.
Her body trembled slightly, and she immediately tried to push Caden Lockwood away to get up.
But the hand around her waist held her fast, not allowing her any chance to escape.
"Behave." Caden Lockwood’s tone was rough, "Otherwise, you know..."
Evelyn Morgan was too frightened to move, slowing and lightening her breath, afraid that any careless move of hers might provoke him.
She didn’t know how long it took, but when it felt like the danger had passed, she lifted her head slightly to look at Caden Lockwood.
The light in the room was dim, his eyes were closed, and there was still a faint shadow of gloom between his brows, his complexion not fully recovered, invoking a sense of heartache.
She instinctively reached out, touching between his brows, gently smoothing away that shadow.
He suddenly opened his eyes, startling her greatly.
Instinctively, she withdrew her hand, but he quickly caught it.
"Charmed, aren’t you?" Caden Lockwood curved his lips into a mischievous smile, "Hmm? Erin Morgan, you’ve already been charmed by me, right?"
Evelyn Morgan lowered her eyes cautiously, not daring to look at Caden Lockwood’s striking appearance, but her guilty expression was not hidden well.
"In this world, even trying to get surgery to be as handsome as me is difficult." His tone was arrogant and confident, "Spending every day with me, you’ve surely fallen for me secretly, haven’t you?"
