The fight ended, and that was the last beast Kai was supposed to hunt. He finally won by the skin of his teeth, but that brought happiness to his slow-beating heart and, again, his poisoned body.

He had his body clinging to the ground after he lost all his strength, busy trying to fight the poison; his breathing was low, and it was like he was dead.

In his mind, he said, ’This is so harsh; how can I even live my life with this pain-in-the-neck thing called the system? Did I really deserve a second chance at life? (Sighed)’

He felt that the system was trouble, and again, he even thought that he was better off dead.
