Chapter 1538: Audience

When Sein’s legions arrived at Kylador Plane, he received word that Master Fathis wished to meet him.

Sein had visited the Kylador Plane three years ago.

At that time, two legions of the Magus Civilization had been holding the line here.

Unfortunately, by the time Sein and his forces broke through the Gallant Federation’s blockade, one of the Rank Four knights stationed here had already fallen, along with most of his knight legion.

The entire Kylador Plane had been soaked in blood back then, buried beneath countless heaps of metallic wreckage.

Kylador had always been one of the most distant battlefields from the Magus Civilization’s main frontline.

The fall of that Rank Four knight, just on the cusp of victory, was truly upsetting.

Now, after three years of restoration, Kylador looked calm—at least on the surface. Most of the corpses and metallic wreckage had long since been cleared away.

Just by looking at it now, who would have guessed that brutal battles had raged here only three years ago?

It was much like Sanok Star Domain—who could have imagined that three years later, the conflicts in this star domain would be nearing their end?

Victory and peace had arrived so quickly that many Magus Civilization natives could barely process it.

“Don’t be nervous when you meet Master Fathis. Just stay calm. I hear she’s a nice person. She has even supported many lower-tier legions and even allied gods with her lumen magic on the battlefield,” Sein assured the Klytherans and the Blue Star powerhouses.

“Across the entire Magus Alliance, Master Fathis is well-liked and has an excellent reputation. If she’s willing to speak on your behalf about joining the Magus Alliance, the chances of success are extremely high,” he added.

Over the past few years, Sein had already reported to the upper echelons about bringing back the Klytherans and Blue Star natives, and about recruiting other worlds like the Shadowbat Civilization into the Magus Alliance.

However, because of the constant and violent wars in this star domain, the Magus Civilization had yet to give Sein any formal reply.

It was only now, as Sein was on his way to meet Master Fathis, that she suggested he bring those alien beings along.

As the Rank Six mage overseeing this medium-sized star domain battlefield, Fathis was unquestionably the Magus Civilization’s representative here.

After all, the strongest beings in a medium-sized plane could only reach Rank Six.

It was very likely that neither the Shadowbat Civilization nor Planet Aquaria had anyone stronger than Master Fathis at the moment.

Upon hearing Sein’s words, Darian of the Shadowbat Civilization nodded calmly.

Even the usually sloppy Orric sobered up.

The wars of recent years had given these powerful alien beings a firsthand understanding of the conflict between the Gallant Federation and the Magus Civilization.

On top of that, this region was only a minor battlefield—one neither side truly prioritized, and one that did not even field overlord-level beings.

Yet the intensity of the fighting here still managed to leave both Orric and Darian quietly stunned.

Orric had always considered himself exceptional among others of his rank, but after meeting Sein and Karl, that arrogance had gradually faded.

Even Darian, the Rank Five Shadowbat powerhouse who had barely lifted a finger throughout the conflict, now struck Orric as someone he had badly underestimated.

He had heard that Darian had once battled Sein, and the two had been evenly matched.

And now, in Sanok Star Domain, three more Magus World powerhouses had caught Orric’s attention.

Most striking among them was a peak Rank Five knight wielding a flaming sword, whom Sein had introduced as Mac.

Orric found himself genuinely unsure whether he could match this opponent, and that was absurd for him!

The Magus Civilization had no shortage of talent, and Sein was just one among many.

Even Sein regarded Mac with respect.

The blazing sword in that knight’s hand was clearly a world-class secret treasure.

In terms of grade, it might even surpass the Thunder Sword Sein had seen before.

Unfortunately, Sein was not close with Mac, nor did he have any justifiable reason to request a closer look at the knight’s personal weapon.

Otherwise, he would have loved to study the laws and secrets hidden within that world-class secret treasure.

After a short stay on Kylador, Sein boarded a prism fort with Karazo and the other Klytheran powerhouses, heading straight toward the depths of Sanok Star Domain.

Master Fathis would be receiving them in the heart of this medium-sized star domain, on Sanok World itself.

With the federal fleets gone and the native resistance forces largely suppressed, Sein and his group reached Sanok World quickly, encountering no significant obstacles along the way.

Sanok World was a medium-sized plane, governed by a complete set of laws.

As the prism fort carrying Sein and the others descended from the plane’s outer layer, they could still feel the faint traces of scorched air left behind by the war.

In the southern central region of Sanok World, a vast black basin more than a thousand kilometers wide stood out starkly against the land.

This was the site where the previous “People’s King” of Sanok World, a Rank Six being, met his end.

This black basin had been smashed into existence by sheer force.

The charred soil and the lingering, peculiar energy distortions in the surrounding environment would remain a distinctive feature of this medium-sized plane for tens of thousands of years.

Surprisingly, many native creatures still lived in Sanok World.

Sein had assumed that for worlds like this, those that had once sought protection under the Gallant Federation, the Magus Civilization would offer nothing but cold, utter annihilation.

Yet the current state of the world’s development and its environmental recovery were all far better than he expected.

It lacked the apocalyptic devastation he had imagined.

At this moment, nearly a hundred Magus Civilization space fortresses hovered in and over Sanok World.

Some had only just been dispatched to this front. Others were preparing to withdraw for rest and resupply, while the rest were dedicated transport fortresses. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

The massive space fortresses, combined with the dense formations of prism forts and war airships flying in precise, orderly patterns across the sky, left Orric staring in awe.

“Once you join the Magus Alliance, you can order space fortresses directly through them,” Sein said.

“In the alliance, any medium-sized plane or larger usually maintains several space fortresses as standard. Even some low-level planes or wealthy microplane beings own space fortresses as personal vessels.

“In the Magus Alliance, owning a space fortress is a symbol of status,” he added with a laugh.

“Then my status is certainly sufficient,” Orric replied without a hint of modesty.

To that, Sein nodded sincerely.

Based on his past experiences, hydro-attribute planes tended to be quite wealthy, especially Aquaria, where the royal family ruled with absolute authority.

Most of the plane’s resources were undoubtedly concentrated in the Ocean King’s hands.

If Orric could persuade his father to trade even a portion of their resources to the Magus Alliance, the magicoins they earned would be more than enough to buy two space fortresses.

Sein even suspected that a plane like Aquaria might not need to offer anything at all.

Simply expressing a desire to join the Magus Alliance might be enough for the Magus Civilization to gift them a space fortress or a substantial amount of magicoins as a welcome gesture.

After all, Phantom Crow World had made a fortune under similar circumstances!
