Sovereign of the Ashes-Chapter 1594: God Realm
The battle unfolding in the starry expanse had Sein completely spellbound.
White Stella stood at the very peak of Rank Five, right on the verge of breaking through to Rank Six, while Orven had already fully stepped into Rank Six.
Watching a battle at this level and observing how the combatants wielded their respective law powers was immensely valuable for Sein’s growth.
The sudden appearance of multiple world-class secret treasures quickly drew the attention of Sein and other powerhouses around the battlefield.
A collection like this would tempt even an overlord if one happened to show up, especially White Stella’s treasures, as they appeared to be of an exceptionally high grade.
Sein had long been impressed by how rich the White Stella and Tourmaline were.
Take Tourmaline, for example. Her two green arm ribbons were low-grade world-class secret treasures! Counted separately, did that not mean she owned two world-class secret treasures?
And those had just been gifts from her uncle back then.
White Stella, being stronger and more involved with her family, probably had even more treasures in her possession.
Sein suspected her collection extended beyond the two she had revealed so far, but figured she had held back because more gear did not always mean better performance.
After all, a treasure only contributed to strength if one could wield it properly.
Given that White Stella had yet to break through to Rank Six, being able to handle two world-class secret treasures effectively was probably her limit.
Adding more would not offer much of a combat boost and might even put too much strain on her body.
Besides, the Sea-Taming Pearl alone was enough to help her regain control of the battlefield.
Even King Orven seemed shaken by how things were turning out, especially with White Stella pulling out trump card after trump card, like she had an endless supply of surprises up her sleeve.
Looking at it now, his plan to take her alive and make her his queen felt... more than a little presumptuous.
The world-class secret treasure Orven used looked just like the tech spheres developed by the Gallant Federation.
The small metallic orb unleashed a barrage of energy beams, each matching the firepower of a fortress’ main cannon.
Despite its compact form, the orb seemed to hold a bottomless reservoir of energy inside.
With it, Orven’s power had become a force to reckon with.
Even White Stella’s smile faded, replaced by a grim expression.
This was turning into a drawn-out battle.
For high-ranking beings, it was not unusual for fights to drag on for decades if both sides were evenly matched and neither held a decisive advantage.
With the conflict escalating like this, Sein could not just sit back and watch.
By the third year, the Huusian-controlled sector began showing obvious signs of collapse. With no reinforcements in sight, Sein had no choice but to lead his forces into the battlefield himself.
One of the creatures holding the line was a massive Rank Five walrus with a pair of tusks jutting from its maw.
The creature wielded hydro elemental law, while Sein commanded the pyro elemental Ashen Law.
Water and fire were natural opposites, and Sein’s presence elevated the battle to a whole new level of intensity.
ROAR!
The creature bared its menacing fangs at him, then lunged at Sein, who had just arrived to reinforce the battlefield.
On its way, it tore straight through a burning, old-model Huusian warship without slowing down. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

At the Netherworld Star Domain front, where the Magus Civilization’s forces were deeply entrenched...
After centuries of fortification, the Netherworld Star Domain had become a wall no force could easily breach.
At this point, any hope of breaking through it to invade the Magus Civilization’s territory was nothing more than a pipe dream for the Gallant Federation.
In fact, the frontline of the Clash of Civilizations was no longer along the edge of the Netherworld Star Domain. The battle had already pushed inward, deep into the Gallant Federation’s own territory.
With the relentless assaults of the Magus Civilization’s main forces, combined with the chaos stirred up by black mages and mysterious entities deep within the Gallant Federation’s heartland, the federation found itself in an increasingly untenable position on this front.
In truth, the tide had already turned long before the Netherworld Star Domain campaign succeeded.
The decisive blow came when the Gallant Federation’s vanguard fleet was nearly annihilated, and multiple overlord-class forces were completely wiped out by the Magus Civilization.
Although recent victories had brought some relief to the Magus Civilization’s upper echelons, the latest intelligence from the Saitos Star Domain had once again shaken their confidence.
Their main concern was the Gallant Federation’s ability to completely wipe out a medium-sized star domain along with an overlord-level being in a single strike.
This was a feat that defied the imagination of most overlords in the Magus Alliance.
Despite that, the Magus Civilization remained relatively calm, especially Bev, who commanded the Netherworld Star Domain front. She even managed a smile when she saw the Rank Seven mechanic named Viktor return.
“You saw the Saitos Star Domain up close. What did you find?” Bev asked.
Viktor did not share her calm. He shook his head and replied grimly, “That star domain is now saturated with violently unstable residual energy particles. Even I can’t get too close to the core.”
“Judging by the speed at which the elemental particles are dispersing, it’ll probably take a thousand years before high-ranking beings can safely approach. Until then, the place is completely off-limits,” he added.
As Magus World’s first and only Soul Overmage who was also a mechanic, Viktor possessed the deepest understanding of technological power in the entire realm.
After all, the mechanic profession itself was a newly forged path, born from the fusion of magic and technology.
Once the Magus Civilization successfully brought the Gallant Federation under its rule, the golden age of mechanics would surely begin!
However, at this point, even Viktor was stunned by the level of technological advancement the Gallant Federation had demonstrated.
“How in the world did the Gallant Federation pull that off? What kind of technology could possibly achieve something like that?” Viktor muttered, still trying to wrap his head around it.
Bev glanced over and replied, “Actually, this isn’t the first time they’ve demonstrated this kind of power.”
“Oh?” Viktor looked up, surprised.
As someone who had only risen to prominence in recent times, Viktor knew very little about the events that had occurred hundreds of thousands of years ago.
Most of his knowledge of Magus Civilization’s epic history came from only the preserved documents and records housed in Sky City.
Bev furrowed her brow slightly as she searched her memory. “There was another explosion once, near the Gallant Federation. That blast had far greater destructive power—it wiped out an entire large-sized star domain. Even a Rank Eight Overlord perished.”
“Before my father left the Astral Realm, he mentioned that the Gallant Federation likely rose to top-tier civilization status by researching the supreme principles revealed in that explosion.”
Her words made Viktor’s expression turn serious.
Others might not understand what God Realm really meant, but Viktor—an overlord-level powerhouse standing at the peak of the Magus Civilization—knew exactly what it implied.
It was the Gallant Federation's own term for their understanding of Rank Nine power!
If the Magus Civilization managed to conquer the Gallant Federation, Viktor’s greatest wish would be to uncover the truth behind the secrets of the so-called God Realm.
He fell silent, lost in thought.
After a brief pause, Bev continued, “Tell Skybearer, the Giant Mountain God[1], to rest, and thank it for doing everything it could to protect Rank Seven knight Balek during that critical moment.”
“As for the Norman Federation, extend our condolences to their council. After all, the destruction of that overlord-class android is a major loss, not only for them but for our Magus Civilization as well,” she added.
“Understood,” Viktor replied.
“By the way, did you manage to find the remains of that overlord-class android during your visit to the Saitos Star Domain?” Bev asked.
Viktor shook his head. “No, I couldn’t.”
Seeing the trace of unease on Bev’s face, he quickly added, “It might have already been taken by the Gallant Federation. That star domain is still under their control and remains a restricted zone. It’s possible they sent a specialized fleet ahead of my arrival to clear out any remaining traces within the Saitos Star Domain.”
Bev nodded at his explanation.
1. Translator’s Note: The Giant Mountain God appeared once before in Chapter 1304. It was a geo elemental overlord from the Grand Amethyst World. It turns out that it shares a very similar name with Skyhold, the robot. ☜
