Salem disembarked and watched the hangar crew blink in surprise as they escorted the prisoners off the medical transport. "Argon, Angel, Lee, take the prisoners to the brig and stay with them. Unless I personally come down there no one is allowed to see, talk, or move them. JC, you are with me. We are going to report to Meyer and send all the data we collected. Then we are getting permission to skewer all of the commanders that tried to kill us." Salem ordered without taking her helmet off. She got several beeps in confirmation and acknowledgement.

She walked to the hallway and quickly made her way to the area her and her Inquisitor Unit had been given for private use. She tapped on the keypad a few times and quickly discovered that someone had tried to access the room while they were away. But the tricks she learned from Jace regarding technology security helped out a lot.

She opened the door and took a look around the entrance before walking in. Just because she was confident in her technology security did not mean there could be someone better. "Someone tried to access the room. Look around and make sure everything is still locked up tight." Salem told JC as she closed and sealed the door after he entered.

"Understood. I will look around the room." JC responded before moving around the room.

"Or I can just jump to the conclusion for you." The holotable they had in the center of the room started up. A hologram of a little chibi of a ninja, it hopped down out of nonexistence. "Nobody managed to infiltrate the room. They started their attempt immediately after you left but stopped pretty quickly when their technicians said it was impossible."

"Okay, then can you connect me with Meyer. I am going to need some assistance in sorting out all the bad seeds. I have names and lists of several commanders that are in the fleet sent for the strike." Salem told the AI that was assigned to secretly assist her squad.

Solisa had worked with a research and development team to create this AI and several others who were secretly assisting the loyalist side of the cold civil war. This also included the Anvil's ship AI. It was one of the many projects she had been intensely interested in.

"Understood, making long range communication without alerting the main communication channel. This will take a moment…. I have made the connection. I am just waiting for her to answer." The Ninja AI told them as its holographic image began doing flips and parkouring off of items it materialized.

Salem nodded and started making her way through the data and communication logs she collected. Making organized notes as she looked through them. She would leave the logs and data untainted so it could be used as evidence later. Her notes would be used to pick out which pieces of evidence could be used against who.

"Remember to make the list into three sections-"

"Hard evidence, suspicious, and not suspicious. I know." JC cut her off as he began booting up his own station to work at. "I will also keep the original data to use as conclusive evidence."

"I am connecting to Head Imperial Inquisitor Meyer now." The ninja Chibi announced. Her avatar changed into the symbol used by Inquisitors.

A few moments later the hologram of Inquisitor Meyer appeared. "Inquisitor Salem, according to Commander Innu you are dead. Apparently making false reports is also on his list of crimes."

"Yes it is ma'am. My team has captured four of the commanders in charge of the Tyranus base. We have also retrieved a large amount of data that they failed to erase. I have only gotten through a quarter of the data but I have seen the names of several higher level Inquisitors and Military Commanders. I wanted to request a full Imperial Trial Fleet to be mobilized so we could try them." Salem saluted after she finished speaking, fully aware that her boss could see a hologram of her like she was seeing of her boss.

Meyer raised an eyebrow, "A full Imperial Trial Fleet? That has not been mobilized since the Vexical Empire was formed. It was the main component that helped form the Vexical Empire after the Grand Hexarian Empire fell and a deterrent for other nations." Meyer took a breath for a moment before speaking again, "When the emperor returns in a few days I will make the request but there has to be a clear reason for the emperor to make a move himself."

"Understood, I will make a list of names from all of this data and highlight the higher ranking Inquisitors and Military Commanders. I will also personally interview and then interrogate the Noble Tyranus Commanders we have captured." Salem declared.

"Have both a digital record and a transcript sent to me of the interview and follow-up interrogation. You have my permission to use enhanced interrogation if you think you have a need for it." Meyer informed her. "How did your squad operate for this first operation?"

"Good, we were quick and precise. Even had another unit from the strike squad try and kill us. It was a very expected experience." Salem answered with a chuckle. "I will have all members of my unit make a report and then we will send it to you by tomorrow."

"Then that is all, I must say you have made a mess with all of the gaps within the Inquisitors you have created. But it has made it easier to seize control of the organization." Meyer told her.

"Thank you, I have just been doing my part." Salem answered.

"No, what you were supposed to do was operate undercover and slowly discover the traitors in the military and Inquisitors. Instead you are a stellar Inquisitor that has basically been neutering the Tyranus organization by identifying members within the government." Meyer sighed, "you have completely thrown our plan out the window. Fortunately for you it appears the emperor has taken a liking to what you are doing."

A moment later the call ended. Salem sighed and moved back to her workstation. While ninja AI appeared again, this time hanging upside down from a rope from a nonexistent roof. JC glanced over from his own workstation.

"Why did we change our plan?" JC asked.

"Because I learned from Jace that he encountered an Inquisitor that was abusing his power to rape women. After looking into it a bit I realized he was not the only one and it was only going to get worse. So I decided to go after their support system which just happened to be Tyranus." Salem answered honestly.

"Statistics show that there is a higher percentage of rape and being taken advantage of when there is more discontent among the higher ranks and superiors like there are. And likely will increase in the future." The Ninja AI jumped in, "by the way, I have been observing the Net while I am not busy. It appears you are getting placed on a pedestal by a few and it is only increasing as more people are in awe of your feats."

Salem frowned at that. That was not good. Hopefully it will die down before it becomes a problem. Salem turned back to her work fully aware that her subordinate and the Ninja AI were both already placing her on a pedestal just as much as those other people probably were.

As she dove into her work she suddenly felt something push into her mind. She stopped and stretched her neck as she closed her eyes. It was a beautiful sunrise that reflected off the ocean with the silhouettes of buildings in the background. It was a breath of fresh air compared to her own temporary living quarters aboard this ship.

"Using the information you are putting in I can label which of the captains and commanders can be trusted. Then we can start sending others to start rounding them up. By others I mean soldiers and unit leaders who are trustworthy." The Ninja AI declared as they pulled up the actual data and plans they had created.

Salem sighed and thought for a moment, "Make a list but refrain from doing anything. We will wait until the Imperial Trial Fleet arrives before we do anything. Did the others arrive at the brig alright?"

"Hmm?" The Ninja AI pulled up cameras of the brig section of the ship. "They arrived just fine. The ship captain has already sent someone to try to get possession of the prisoners but Argon already sent them off. Now he is personally coming this way to talk to you. He is coming with an armed escort."

Almost as if on cue there was a beeping from the door. Salem walked over and pushed a button, "Yes captain? How can I help you today?" Salem asked through the speaker system.

"Inquisitor Salem, we have to talk about you and your subordinates' insubordination." The captain somehow sounded angry over the speaker system.

"Insubordination? If you think what we are doing is insubordination then you have not been around a proper Inquisitor in awhile. Because I read the rule book, I am doing all that I am allowed to do. Now I suggest you go back to what you are supposed to do and command your ship." Salem responded before hanging up. She walked back to her workstation. "Now what are they doing?"

"The captain is screaming while red in the face. His subordinates are uncomfortable while some are clearly losing confidence in him as a captain." The Ninja AI explained.

"Good, tell me if he tries to cut open the door or tries to force access to the prisoners. We do not need your digital help for much else at the moment." Salem explained before going back to her work.
