SSS Awakening: I Can Class Change at will-Chapter 322: Claiming The Quest Rewards
Moon had already considered this decision thoroughly during his travels.
"I’d like to exchange that reward for a Second Sanctuary weapon instead, since I’m expecting to advance soon. You can determine the appropriate rank relative to the exchange—I trust your judgment on that."
The manager’s eyebrows rose with interest before he nodded approvingly.
"Certainly, sir. We are more than happy to provide one of our most talented people with a C-rank Elemental Staff that offers high affinity to all four basic elements. The staff is highly durable, and it can also be used as a combat staff in case you needed to block off damage at close distance. Would that meet your needs?"
"Sounds perfect," Moon grinned, pleased with the upgrade in both power and versatility.
"Excellent!" the manager responded enthusiastically. "We can deliver the weapon whenever you complete your evolution to Evolver status. Under current Association regulations, we’re unable to provide awakeners with Second Order equipment."
"That’s completely understandable," Moon acknowledged.
"Perfect. As for your second reward, you’ll begin receiving 5% of the combined income from both bases starting from next month. Based on recent monthly performance, this should average approximately $750,000 per month in total."
Moon nodded, understanding that the amount reflected the different sizes and profitability of each facility.
"That’s acceptable."
His steadily increasing passive income brought Moon a small smile on his face. His net-worth was increasing at an alarming rate, and that would fund his growth well in the Second Sanctuary—where everything was much more expensive.
Moon glanced around the current meeting room, assessing its dimensions.
"Can we move to a larger space? I have quite a few items I need to sell."
The manager paused momentarily. The current room was already quite spacious, but to accommodate Moon’s request, he decided to comply without question.
"Of course, sir."
Moon was escorted to another room, but after a quick assessment, he immediately recognized it wouldn’t accommodate the massive inventory he needed to process.
"This isn’t big enough either. I’ll need something larger."
The Evolver couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows in surprise. If even the second room was insufficient, Moon clearly possessed far more than "a few items" to sell.
He made the decision to escort Moon to one of their processing courtyards—an outdoor facility within their branch designed to handle thousands of beast corpses daily.
Examining the expansive courtyard, Moon nodded with approval. "This space will work perfectly."
Moon began retrieving the corpses from his storage ring. First came hundreds of A-rank beast corpses, followed by half of the S-Rank beasts he’d collected over the past week.
The Evolver’s jaw nearly dropped as the sheer volume of high-quality materials materialized before him.
"Mr. Outlaw, did you perhaps eliminate every single S-rank beast in the entire First Sanctuary?" he asked with an awkward laugh.
Naturally, it wasn’t his first time seeing S-Rank corpses. But it was certainly his first time seeing this many at once, from the same person.
"Something like that," Moon replied with amusement.
The manager laughed nervously before beginning the complex process of cataloging and appraising the massive collection.
"This evaluation will take some time. Would you like anything to drink while we work?"
Moon considered the offer. "Coffee would be excellent. It’s been quite a while since I’ve had a proper cup, and I can see this will take some time."
"Ancient Arabian coffee coming right up, sir," the Evolver replied, immediately calling for an assistant in the courtyard to prepare the beverage while summoning additional staff members to help expedite the appraisal process.
The assistant stopped what he was doing, and went to make ancient Arabian coffee for Moon.
Moon sipped his coffee in silence as he observed the team of specialists appraising his collection. ’This is exceptional coffee, far superior to the instant coffee I was drinking just a few months ago.’
With the additional assistance, the evaluation process proceeded efficiently. The team worked efficiently through the massive inventory, examining each specimen for quality, rarity, and preservation. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
After completing their assessment, the manager approached Moon with obvious satisfaction.
"Mr. Outlaw, this is quite the extraordinary collection of beast. The corpses are remarkably intact, and the cores show perfect preservation without any damage whatsoever."
His eyes consulted his detailed appraisal notes for a moment, before he said, "Based on current market rates, the Trading Center would offer approximately 48.2 million dollars for this inventory. However, we can provide you with 49 million dollars for everything. How does that arrangement sound?"
"It’s a deal," Moon replied without hesitation, extending his hand.
They shook firmly before proceeding through the necessary paperwork for such a large transaction. The documentation process was quick but professional, ensuring all legal requirements were properly satisfied.
When the final signatures were completed, Moon found himself 49 million dollars wealthier than he’d been moments earlier.
Combined with his existing assets and new passive income stream, his total net worth now approached truly impressive levels.
Moon finished his coffee with satisfaction, knowing he was now positioned to handle most equipment needs or opportunities that might arise during his initial phase of evolution.
Before departing the Glassy Group’s branch, Moon made certain he was well-stocked with essential supplies for the challenges ahead. He purchased rune inscription materials and various potions at the discounted rates he was exclusively given.
Based on his experience in fighting a Supreme Beast, Moon knew that what lay ahead would test his limits, and proper preparation could mean the difference between life and death.
After securing his supplies, Moon made his way to the Trading Center to liquidate the remaining half of his S-rank beast collection. The Trading Center offered slightly different rates.
Ten minutes later, Moon emerged from the facility with an additional 40 million dollars added to his accounts.
His current net worth now sat at an absolutely staggering 146 million dollars—a figure that would have been completely inconceivable to him just months ago when he’d been struggling to make ends meet as an orphaned unawakened person working ordinary jobs.
Numbers that had once existed only in his wildest fantasies were now a reality, displayed clearly in his balance.
But Moon understood that wealth, while useful, was merely a tool. His true strength lay in the skills, knowledge, and power he’d accumulated through countless battles against tough opponents.
The money would enable him to pursue his goals more freely, but it wouldn’t fight his battles or guarantee his survival.
With his storage rings empty, Moon was ready to return to the sanctuary and begin hunting for the most elusive requirement of all—a Legendary-rank skill.
