SSS-Rank: I Create My Own Quest-Chapter 50: [51] Osborn
"Klein is such a great talent." Theon was surprised, when he had found out that Klein was shorter than him by a head’s length.
"What is it? Don’t I look like a genius?" Klein touched his nose and gave him a proud look.
"Just 16 years old! If he can really become a Geneticist at this age, it would break Stanlos’ record as the youngest certified Geneticist," said Tobian enviously.
Klein had his hands crossed and a smug look on his face. Theon smiled, as he knew the heart of a young man was often filled with tendencies to show off. However, it could be seen that Klein’s character was not bad, just a little proud.
"Who is Jasmine, then?" Theon asked.
"She’s the one over there. Jasmine doesn’t like to talk to anyone. She’s always got her head buried in her books, just like a nerd," Klein said, while pointing. His words, however, had a tinge of envy.
In the corner of the crowd, a bespectacled girl was looking through an old handwritten book. She was wearing a long white, flowery dress and her long black hair was pulled behind her glasses ears.
Her aura was serene and quiet, which kept other people from bothering her.
She looked a little older than Klein, had a pretty face, and looked gentle.
When Theon saw her, he suddenly had an image of his previous life flash in his mind. It was a picture of a quiet afternoon, with a dark-haired girl quietly reading a book on the lawn of the house next door.
It was an oriental girl, who had moved next door to become Theon’s neighbor during his teenage days. Theon had never seen such a quiet temperament as hers. Though she had moved away after living there for only a few months, her appearance in his life was deeply engraved in his mind.
"Jasmine was ill last year, so she did not take part in the certification examination. Otherwise, she would have been the one to break the record as the youngest Geneticist. This was the reason why Klein was unhappy," Clay said, then laughed.
When Mayor glanced at Theon and noticed the infatuated look in his eyes, he laughed and said, "Brother, do you fancy her?"
Gordon shook his head and said, "I advise you to give up on this thought. Osborn, from the Helius family, has been pursuing Jasmine. The Helius family is affiliated to the Helius family in the Star link city. Osborn’s father, Baron, is a great noble. Osborn is also the most promising genius in the noble camp to become a certified Geneticist. He’s richer than us in every way."
Clay added, "There were other people who tried to pursue Jasmine in the past. These people were taught a lesson by Osborn and were afraid to approach Jasmine again."
After hearing these things, Theon smiled and was not bothered by them.
"I just thought that she looked like my old friend," Theon calmly said.
It was then that Theon saw a well-dressed man with brown hair walking towards Jasmine.
"Here’s Osborn!" Klein looked at Osborn awkwardly. It seemed that the two of them might have some bad blood between them.
Osborn was also aware of the stares, especially when his eyes met Theon’s. He seemed to have noticed Theon’s gaze previously.
"Another guy wanting to pursue Jasmine..." Osborn stared at them with a cold look.
"Osborn, what are you doing here again? Please don’t interrupt my learning." Katherine looked up at Osborn indifferently, as if she was looking at a stranger.
At this point, Theon noticed that Osborn had walked away with a sullen face. No one could hear what their conversation had been about.
"Hehe, I knew that Osborn would suffer a setback again," Klein laughed and said, "Honestly, I wonder if Jasmine has any feelings left at all. Apart from pharmaceutics, she never looked interested in anything else."

"The certification examination is about to begin. The first round will assess your talent. Brother Theon, what was the elemental sensing value assessment in your previous round?" Gordon asked.
"Elemental sensing value? I did not check." Theon responded with a smile. In fact, he was not even clear about what exactly the elemental sensing value was.
"How do you usually refine your serum?" asked Mayor curiously.
"I refine it based on my feelings, then constant practice helps in the completion," said Theon, raising one hand.
In actual fact, with his peak level alchemy his brain would automatically simulate the experiment first like memories.
Then, Theon would only need to follow the steps simulated by his memories, refining the serum by his feeling and intuition. So, when Theon was asked about the entire refining process, he really had no idea.
"Since you are able to completely rely on feeling to refine serum, your elemental sensing value must be high," said Clay, staring at Theon in shock.
Everyone else was also surprised. Later on, when everyone knew that Theon had been recommended to take the certification examination directly, they all thought that he must be a peerless genius.
"Klein, maybe Theon is even more of a genius than you," Mayor said with a smile.
Klein looked at Theon, his eyes filled with a fighting spirit. He then said, "Hey! I won’t lose! Just you wait and see. My grades will be higher than his."
Just then, at the front of the hall, six Geneticists, who were dressed in formal red robes, came out alongside a serious Grade one Geneticist.
"Hello, everyone. I am your chief examiner, Aaron. My two deputy examiners are Mr. Cross and Mr. Williams..."
After introducing the six people in his group, Aaron introduced the rules of the exam.
"Today’s certification examination is divided into three sessions. The first is the elemental talent test, the second is the Geneticist knowledge question and answer portion, and the third will deal with on-site refining. The certification score will be based on your total score..."
At this time, Theon noticed that, in front of the six people, there were three crystal detectors and some data evaluation instruments.
According to Gordon and the others, as well as the invigilators, the crystals could detect a person’s elemental talent and the data evaluation instruments were used to provide specific data values.
"Please separate yourselves into three groups, then come forward, so that we can detect your elemental talent," said Aaron.
