Chapter 152: CH 152: A considerable plan

It was only just a few minutes after Tyler had shouted for Bob to go find the two missing kids, he had soon return, claiming to have found them. Or more accurately, they had came here themselves.

Tyler’s curiosity had been piqued, and he had requested that the two kids be brought before him. Bob, ever the obedient servant, had instantly gone ahead to fetch the kids, bringing them to kneel before Tyler and the rest of the group. The kids’ eyes were cast downward, their faces a mixture of fear and anticipation.

Tyler’s gaze bore into them, his voice firm as he asked, "Where have you guys been for the past two days?" The kids exchanged a nervous glance before beginning to explain their story.

They spoke of how they had been ambushed along with the group they had gone with, and the people that had ambushed had killed everyone else except from them two. It was a lie, but they were making it up so they could get back at Anthony and the rest who had tortured them the first day they arrived there.

He also wanted to show them just how strong the master tyler he talked about was. They didn’t believe his words when he said it, but if they were to see just how strong their master was, they’ll come to realize that he was saying the truth.

Afterwards, they continued their story by revealing how they had been spared and taken to a casino base, where many survivors were staying. They were tortured greatly and were starved for days. Their voices trembled as they recounted their experiences, but they spoke clearly and concisely.

As they reached the part about their escape, one of the kids mentioned the mysterious figure who had helped them. "Someone among the people had helped us escape," they said, "He offered to help us out in return for joining your faction."

Tyler’s interest was piqued, and he leaned forward, his eyes locked on the kids. "What is the name of this person?" he asked, his voice low and intense.

The kids hesitated for a moment before responding in unison, "Ajax." Tyler’s expression remained neutral, but his mind was racing with possibilities.

The kids continued to explain, revealing the details of Ajax’s plan. "He’s willing to do anything for you," they said, "and he had even given us the details about the people who had captured us, they are known as the executives."

The kids’ words spilled out in a rush, as if they were eager to prove their loyalty. "He also said that him and his mother were humiliated by the leader of the base and by these executive people. That he wants payback on them, while we can also take revenge on them, a win-win for both of us." The kid’s words echoed Ajax’s exact phrase, and Tyler’s eyes narrowed, his mind whirling with the implications of this new alliance.

"Surprising," Tyler said, a hint of amusement dancing in his voice. "Someone who is willing to do anything for me." He leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together as he pondered the possibilities.

Max’s eyes sparkled with curiosity, and he asked, "So, what will you do?"

Tyler’s gaze flicked to the two kids, who were still kneeling on the floor. He held out his hand, and one of the kids hastily handed him a paper that outlined the details about the executives and the location of the base.

Tyler’s eyes scanned the contents, his expression growing more interested by the second. The paper even showed the location of where the executives would be arriving the next day, and a plan began to form in his mind.

"It seems like a plan worth trying," Tyler said, a slow smile spreading across his face. "I love the taste of revenge, you know." ƒrēenovelkiss.com

Tyler’s eyes gleamed with excitement as he continued, "Let’s deal with those executive people. I have no aim of taking over some useless casino."

With a flick of his wrist, Tyler handed the paper to Bob, who stood waiting with an expectant expression. "Send a group of strong men to bring these executives to me," Tyler instructed. "It seems the place is a bit far from here, so I want them gone first thing tomorrow morning. And make sure you do your job right this time."

Bob’s face remained impassive, but a hint of determination crept into his voice as he replied, "Absolutely, sir." He bowed his head, the paper clutched tightly in his hand.

"As for these kids, feed them enough food," Tyler said, his voice softening slightly as he noticed their bruised faces. "They must have suffered so much over there."

Bob nodded in response, his expression sympathetic. He backed away from Tyler’s presence, ready to carry out his master’s orders. Since he was done talking, Bob took the cue to exit the room, gently grasping the two kids’ arms and leading them out.

As they walked, Bob instructed one of his men to take the kids to the dining area and feed them a hearty meal. The kids’ eyes lit up at the mention of food, and they followed Bob’s man with a mixture of excitement and wariness.

Meanwhile, Bob turned to another one of his men and gave a low-voiced instruction. "Call off the search for the kids," he said. "Have everyone return back to the base."

The man nodded and quickly set off to relay the message, and Bob felt a sense of relief wash over him. At least one problem had been resolved, and he no longer had to worry about the two missing kids.

With a sense of purpose, Bob turned his attention to the task at hand. He decided to assemble the men who would be going on the operation to capture the executives the next day. He would make sure that everything was planned to perfection, and that the task was carried out without a hitch.

Bob’s eyes narrowed as he thought about the mission, his mind racing with strategies and contingencies. He would see to it that the job was done properly, and that he didn’t fail Tyler this time.
