Starting as a Class Five Mutant-Chapter 637
Chapter 637 - 637
[100PS!!]
Syd felt a strange familiarity wash over him—he had encountered this before.
It was the occasional loss of control that came with Chaos Magic.
Back before his Chaos Magic had reached level five, it would sometimes trigger this reality-altering state spontaneously.
Of course, it wasn't a full meltdown—more of a minor destabilization.
Feeling the current state and gazing at the three Supreme Gods in the distance, a trace of pity arose in his heart.
If this had happened earlier—back when he was just getting used to the comic universe—he might have stumbled or been ambushed. But now, in this runaway Chaos Magic state, there was basically no chance of that.
The truth was simple: the Supreme Gods were just unlucky.
The next second, Syd's voice echoed across all of Asgard—a mysterious sound, as if it came from the cosmic truth itself.
"There shall no longer be Supreme Gods of Asgard."
As his words fell, the three distant Supreme Gods froze, confused by the meaning of what this mysterious deity had just said.
They weren't the only ones puzzled. Odin and the rest of the Asgardians below were equally bewildered.
At that moment, Thor's eyes lit up. He muttered, "It's here—my brother's reality-warping ability!"
"What?" Odin blinked, not immediately understanding.
Up in the sky, the three Supreme Gods furrowed their brows.
"You..." Cleo started to speak, but then suddenly noticed something strange about her body—and stopped in her tracks.
Their forms were starting to turn translucent and illusory, as though a giant eraser were slowly rubbing them out of existence.
"What have you done to us?!"
"What is this power?!"
The three Supreme Gods, including Cleo, were filled with shock and terror.
They could sense it—a power of fundamental superiority was erasing them. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
The worst part?
They couldn't resist it.
"How is this possible?! We are Supreme Gods! How can a force exist that we can't fight against?!"
"No!"
The three were consumed by panic and disbelief, trying to speak—
But the very next moment, their figures vanished completely.
From the shadows of Asgard, faint wails could be heard echoing.
In a flash, the entire realm of Asgard fell silent.
All of its Supreme Gods had been erased by just a single sentence from Syd.
Witnessing this, the Asgardians below were stunned speechless.
Just one sentence—and those terrifying beings were gone?
What kind of power was this?
Inside the ruined palace...
Odin looked up, having witnessed what had just taken place.
"This..." he was frozen in place.
Suddenly, a realization struck him. He turned to Thor and murmured, "Reality-warping?"
Now he finally understood what Thor had meant earlier by that term.
Though he understood now, it didn't make it any less awe-inspiring or terrifying.
Reality-warping?!
Thor, noticing Odin's gaze, couldn't help but puff out his chest proudly. "My brother is a great Primordial God of Creation. Of course those so-called Supreme Gods were no match for him!"
"Primordial God of Creation?" Odin repeated, stunned. Suddenly, a different set of memories flooded his mind.
In this new memory, the figure in the sky was the sixth Primordial Creator who had existed since the dawn of the universe!
Odin's mind was spinning. He couldn't tell which memory was real anymore—the ones he always had, or these new ones that had just emerged.
At the same time, a wave of envy—and even jealousy—began to swell in his heart.
Why did the Thor and Asgard of another universe get such a powerful god?
Why wasn't he here?
Odin's heart soured, and he looked at the divine figure in the sky with a mix of complexity and bitterness.
Then, the sky suddenly darkened.
Having resolved the Supreme Gods' threat, Syd dispelled his abstract divine form and floated down toward the ruined palace where Thor stood.
He spoke simply, "Let's go. Back to Universe 616."
This comic universe was full of unknown dangers—even now, as its Creator God, he didn't want to linger any longer than necessary.
Thor hesitated, glancing at Odin, then at the ruined remnants of Asgard. A trace of reluctance flashed across his face. "Can I still come back here?"
Syd gave it a thought, glanced at Thor, and in an instant, golden light surged over Thor's body.
Thor's eyes widened in shock—he could feel a new, unique ability had been added to his body.
Syd had granted him temporary control over space transfer, linking it to his own power.
As a bonus, Syd also sent the complete knowledge of portal magic into Thor's mind.
Whether Thor could master or use it—that would be up to him.
Thor was elated.
With a wave of his hand, Syd opened a new portal leading back to Universe 616.
The next moment, he floated through it.
As he did, Odin looked on with a complicated expression. He wanted to say something, but in the end, remained silent.
Far away, this universe's versions of Thor and Baldur watched the white-clad figure disappear with equally conflicted emotions.
"That guy... was he telling the truth all along?"
Looking at that Thor, Baldur muttered, stunned, "Could it be that he is the real Baldur, and I'm the fake one?"
If not, why was he so strong... and he himself so weak?
His mind reeled.
The parallel Thor felt the same—and even more so. Emotions like shock, envy, and disbelief roiled in his heart.
...
Universe 616
Syd didn't care when Thor would return—his attention was entirely focused on his Dreamwalking Technique, Self-Existence trait, and the accumulated energy points and God unlock progress.
This journey to the comic universe had only deepened his sense of urgency.
He had to reach the multiversal level as soon as possible—otherwise, he might not even have the strength to resist what's coming!
Forget the overpowered beings in the comic universe—just take the God of Dark Magic Chthon or the Trinity of Vishanti, for example.
Even more terrifying was the real body of that Great Old One that would soon arrive.
There was no way he could deal with any of them in his current state.
Syd sighed to himself.
Not long after, Thor returned from the comic universe.
Time flowed quickly—and before long, a whole day had passed.

(Unlock Progress: 55%)
Hearing the familiar system prompts in his ears and seeing the accumulated energy, Syd's eyes filled with anticipation.
The next second, he dumped all the energy points into his unlock progress.
Instantly, the percentage changed—
(Unlock Progress: 78%)
But after a while, no new system notification came.
"No new ability?"
"And only 78%?"
Seeing this, Syd froze for a moment, disappointment welling up in his heart.
He was already at 78%, and still no new ability?
"Don't tell me it'll only appear at 80%... or 85%, 90%—maybe even 100%?"
He was speechless.
Also, when exactly would the core ability of God be unlocked?
Syd furrowed his brows in deep thought.
After a moment, he shook his head and sighed.
"Forget it. No point in overthinking. Just keep grinding."
The prompts continued to ring in his ears.
