Stealing The Crazy Yandere Lovers-Chapter 57: Fooling Parul
Looking at Parul’s downcast face, I chose my next words carefully.
"Parul, you have been so lost in your self-empathy, in your self-delusion as a mere spectator that you blindly believe what you are seeing."
"Have you ever thought that things might not be as good between Asuna and me as they seemed to your eyes?"
"Things might seem good on the surface but deep down the damage is long done and we have started drifting apart..."
"....further apart!"
There was an intentional pause before I completed my words.
My face was a mixture of grief and suffering, as if I were narrating a sorrowful ordeal.
"What?"
"How is this possible?"
"You and Rainaziel seemed to be such a perfect couple, how can you say all this?"
Parul’s voice staggered as my sentences caught her off guard.
The surprise was so sudden that she almost lost her balance.
"Haha!"
I let out a wailing laugh.
"I also thought that I should be a happy person that I was able to date a beautiful girl like Asuna, but..."
"Alas!"
"Asuna said that we are not suited for each other and it’s better if we separate."
"She told me that in order to avoid causing a scene, it’s better if we appear alienated for the timing and in future when people will question, we can simply answer that we amicably separated."
-As I spoke, my head was low, like I lost a big war.
The disappointment was enough to arouse natural sympathy.
Even I doubted- How could I be such a natural actor?
Parul looked at me for some good seconds, still spellbound by the shocking news.
"No....No, how can she say that!"
"I will intercede for you, with my support all the misunderstandings between you will definitely be over."
Parul tried to give me a sense of surety.
"Don’t!"
"Maybe I have some shortcomings that I am unaware of."
"If you intercede for me that will make me look petty."
"Moreover, it’s between me and Asuna and me."
"You should stay away from it."
"Maybe time will mend everything."
Like a heartbroken person, I put my hands on my chest as if in some serious hidden pain.
"But you are my friend, I have to help you."
"No, I must help you."
Parul hurriedly interjected.
"Don’t!"
"If you ever considered me as your friend and respect me then you should never do this, don’t speak for me in front of Asuna."
"Otherwise, we will have to end this friendship between us."
My expressions were as deep as the ocean, full of longing and uncalled for its calmness.
"But why?"
Parul, who readily believed whatever I fed her, asked naturally.
It was time to hit a checkpoint.
"Because I don’t want to appear pitiful."
The voice was loud as if announcing some rude anarchy.
My eyes were almost blurred with fakeness trying to deceive Parul like I was a sufferer in this mutual emotion called love.
"So promise me, you won’t interfere with Asuna and me."
"Just watch it as a bystander, whatever will happen, will happen for good!"
In the end, I started closing the gaps to lay the groundwork for a new strategy.
Hearing my sobbing words, Parul was taken aback.
Clenching her fists hard, her tongue and toes twirled hard, and her mind was in a constant struggle.
Lifting her head, she met my tearful eyes, in the end, she gave a deep sigh.
"Fine!"
"I won’t interfere."
"I won’t interfere even if Rainaziel ruthlessly abandoned you."
Parul finally gave me the assurance I was looking for.
It is said a man must not shed his tears, but if he does then the task must be completed.
"So you now understand why I can’t help you in the way you want?"
I spoke slowly. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
"Like you, I am also someone defeated in love."
I clearly portrayed myself as a victim who was shamelessly abandoned by Asuna because of trivial reasons
As a victim, I had gained a tactical advantage.
It was about time.
"But..."
".....as a friend of yours, if I can’t help you in this time of need then it will be a shame for me."
I once again pointed her head towards the immediate problem for which she came to me.
Hearing my message, Parul’s rationality returned and she hurriedly remembered the aim of inviting me to the rooftop.
It was to discuss the countermeasures regarding the follow-ups after breaking up with Leo, but my breakup story with Asuna caught her into a mess.
"No, Elandor.....you are already hurt, it will be wrong for me to take more of your time."
"You are yourself trying to cope with a broken heart, it will be such a pain for you to help me at this moment."
Parul hastily shook her hands in the air trying to reduce any further help from me.
But how could things be over so easily?
After meticulously telling her about my and Asuna’s breakup, it was time to turn her into a potential tool person.
Otherwise, I would be a fool for talking so much with her.
The only reason I told her such a fake sobbing story of a breakup with Asuna was to make sure she didn’t feel any kind of moral guilt when I put forward the prospect of trying to date me.
"Parul, we are both at such a low point in life."
"I thought Asuna was the one for me."
"And you thought Leo was the one for you."
"Sighs! We both were wrong. We both were kind of dumped so we are sort of kindred spirits."
My words arouse a sense of familiarity in Parul’s agitated heart.
After all, if well water didn’t mix with well water will it mix with sea water?
Parul subconsciously nodded, agreeing to my words inwardly.
"So I was thinking why not spend some time together?"
"Just a means to escape, think of it as a distraction to get over our failed relationships."
I humbly made my request.
"You know like you, I am also afraid that after such a ruthless breakup, I will fall into depression and be unable to focus on my life clearly."
"So I was thinking of going to some nearby places to get my mind off this stress, now that you are in a similar situation, why not join me?"
"At least when we are together, we can naturally look after each other as good friends."
My invitation was polite, full of respect, giving ample space to Parul.
The request was neither forceful nor seemed to contain any hidden intent filled with lust or mischief towards her.
Parul stared directly into my eyes and pondered for a while.
Actually, her feelings towards Leo were not so deep, she was with him only because she was afraid to be lonely.
She always kept her distance from Leo, but hearing Elandor’s heartfelt words, she too felt that she invested too much in a scum like Leo, she was angry at herself for trusting such a scumbag like Leo.
Moreover, she was even more angry at her good friend Rainaziel for letting go of such an excellent and caring guy like Elandor.
You know the entire social media is buzzing with his crazy singing skills, girls online are screaming to sleep with him and Rainaziel just let him go like this?
The more Parul thought, the more she felt I was right.
Because of my carefully chosen words, she felt that perhaps following me to spend some time to get away from this damn world might make her mind at ease.
Yes, if this small escape can help her forget about Leo then why not?
"Hmm, okay!"
"You are correct, but where should we go?"
"Do we need to take some days off from school?"
Once she made a decision, Parul didn’t blush at asking about further details.
In her eyes, she was just going out with a friend.
Hearing her reply, I was full of smiles.
As expected, the women with big breasts are low in thinking cleverly and are gullible.
But madam, why take a day off from school?
You know I recently signed up for a newspaper delivery part-time job.
With two easy part-time jobs, one before school and one after, my income was stable as hell.
All we need to do is trigger my system to date you and spend some time in the late evening and we can reap handsome rewards, there is no need to be so exaggerated.
"You don’t have to worry, leave the things to me."
"I will look online and see if there are any recreational spots near us?"
I gave a wink.
"Now, come on!"
"It’s not good for a cute girl like you to have such a gloomy face."
"Brighten up!"
After speaking, I playfully flicked Parul’s forehead, who was standing so close to me.
Before giving her any time to react, I decisively turned around and left for the Maths class that was about to start.
