Chapter 875: Chapter 876: Why Did You Only Come Now?

"Come back on your own!" Lin Xiaoting snapped angrily, every time he goes out drinking, he ends up plastered!

Each time, it takes all her strength just to drag him home.

Absolutely maddening!

"Lin Xiaoting... hurry up and pick me up!" He Jun puked again, feeling awful.

Fuming, Lin Xiaoting hung up the phone. How was she supposed to pick him up with the kid?

She couldn’t possibly bring He En to the bar; it’s terrible for the child’s upbringing.

But she couldn’t just ignore He Jun, it was driving her nuts!

He Jun kept waiting for Lin Xiaoting to pick him up, but after a long wait, she still hadn’t shown.

He was a bit annoyed, since when had this little assistant become so disobedient?

After leaving the restroom, he went back out to keep drinking with them.

It wasn’t until past midnight that he left the bar, only to see Lin Xiaoting standing across the street, arms crossed, furiously watching him from the car.

"I’m heading off," He Jun chuckled, waving to Zhang Yi and the others.

Stumbling and almost falling, Lin Xiaoting stepped forward but quickly stepped back. He insisted on getting drunk; he didn’t need her help to stand!

"The little assistant came to pick him up, maybe we should get women to pick us up too?" Guo Feiyu smirked wickedly.

"Yeah, I can’t sleep alone," Zhang Yi laughed, wrapping an arm around Guo Feiyu as they stumbled off together.

Lin Xiaoting didn’t want to bother with those two, someone would take care of them anyway.

He Jun finally managed to walk up to Lin Xiaoting, slightly angry, "Why did you just get here? Do you know how long I’ve been waiting? Dock Lin Xiaoting’s pay!"

With that, he collapsed onto Lin Xiaoting, and she couldn’t support his weight and fell onto the car hood.

His head buried in the nook of her shoulder, his whole body pressing down on her.

"He Jun!" Lin Xiaoting was livid, he drank like a sodden mess, she really wanted to hit him!

If he couldn’t hold his liquor, he should drink less, always drinking so much and not taking care of himself.

"Hmm..." He Jun mumbled with his eyes closed.

"..." Lin Xiaoting rolled her eyes, fine, he was hopeless; she’d have to rely on herself!

Gritting her teeth, she finally managed to shove He Jun into the car.

After getting in, starting the car, and leaving, she parked back at the community, on the brink of a breakdown!

She still had to get him into the elevator; every time he got drunk, she really wanted to leave him outside!

Dragging He Jun back inside the house and shutting the door, she collapsed on the floor exhausted.

Looking at the man asleep on the floor, she angrily raised her hand, wanting to hit him!

The next morning.

The alarm clock on the bedside table rang, and He Jun furrowed his brows, slowly opening his eyes.

He raised a hand to rub his temples, his head pounded as if it would split open!

Rubbing his temples as he sat up, the blanket sliding down his chest, sending a chill.

He looked down at himself, why wasn’t he wearing any clothes?

Pulling back the quilt, he saw he was only wearing boxers!

He froze, scanning the room, relieved when he saw it was his own room...

He was afraid those bothersome friends would prank him, dumping him at a hotel to find a woman to sleep with him, absolutely disgusting!

Whenever he got drunk, he’d call Lin Xiaoting. She must have been the one to bring him back last night, right?

He remembered calling her from the bathroom, but he waited so long without seeing her.

This little assistant was getting braver, daring not to pick him up!

Pulling back the quilt, getting out of bed, just as Lin Xiaoting pushed the door open to enter.

Startled, he fell back onto the bed, hurriedly pulling the quilt to cover himself.

He barked, "Lin Xiaoting, can you please knock before coming in?!"

"What’s the big deal, is there any part of you I haven’t seen? Hurry and come out for breakfast!" Lin Xiaoting said, turning to leave.
