Strongest Minor Villain: The Exiled Prince Is Actually A Genius!?-Chapter 27: Neither Are You [2]
Arthur, despite not knowing anything about Kaiser, couldn’t help but feel a slight deep-rooted respect for him.
It was strange considering that the boy had not done anything worthy of garnering such respect, except being handsome of course.
It was something Arthur had never noticed.
"You do realize who she is, right?"
He questioned.
But the moment the words left his mouth he quickly regretted it.
"Who is she?"
Kaiser asked.
’I forgot, she hasn’t reached that level yet.’
He almost facepalmed himself but stopped in time.
"....The top scorer in the written exam, also someone who we have no information about and could probably have very lethal close combat skills or maybe explosive long range skills. Technically, approaching her would either be a death wish or a walk in the park without knowing anything her."
He explained.
While he was just bringing stuff up from wherever they were in his head, he wasn’t wrong.
Vivienne was literally built for fighting.
Going in to fight her without knowing anything about her was truly a death wish.
Even Lucien, who had the powers of the plot, a literal demon inside him, an absurd build as well as an overpowered Origin Skill still found himself getting bullied by her.
She was built for fighting after all.
"Even if both of us were to try to take her on, the chances that we will be defeated outweigh the chances of winning."
Arthur concluded.
If he were to be honest, he wanted to stay as far away from Vivienne during this exams. But, he would never let anyone know.
"....But didn’t you try to kill that girl just now? Did you assess her strength before trying to eliminate her?"
Kaiser asked suddenly.
Arthur’s reply came quickly.
"No, she has no noteworthy achievements whatsoever so attacking just seems like common sense."
He explained.
"...."
"...."
"...."
"...."
"Do you have something to say?"
Arthur asked, breaking through the silence.
"....No."
Kaiser said, walking away.
"But I suppose that’s why I like you."
He said before walking into the trees.
"Good luck."
Arthur said to the retreating figure.
’Now that I think about it, shouldn’t my brother have arrived now?’
Avoiding him was just as high as a priority as avoiding Vivienne, maybe even higher.
....Elsewhere
"Fight back, won’t you fight?"
A lone figure mocked, fists raining down on a poor boy who was being beaten down so fast he couldn’t even move.
He was in a battle with twenty applicants all against him, but despite that he was still holding his own.
Not only was he holding his own, but he was also destroying them. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
He still had all three balls on him and barely any cracks on them too.
He easily evaded every attack they sent at him, whether skill or weapon. Not only did he dodge it, but he made sure it would do the exact opposite of what they wanted.
Just then, the figure detected an orange ball heading towards him from the corner of his eyes, without a second thought he grabbed the applicant by the collar and tossed him towards the fireball.
But he wasn’t done yet.
He leaped forward, slamming a spinning heel kick in the side of another applicant who just happened to be close enough to be that unfortunate.
He went towards another applicant, throwing a fist that sent her sprawling to the ground.
He dodged every attack with ease and countered with an even deadlier attack.
"Won’t you fight!? Fight back!"
He mocked the group.
The lone figure had been the one that formed the group, all with the sole purpose of making them try to defeat him.
And they were failing at it. Woefully failing.
His voice cut through the air like thunder as he tore through the close combatants, ever word of his dripping with mockery.
The lone figure dashed forward and his fist met a jaw.
One of them tried to capitalize on that, trying to cut his arm off with his axe. But suddenly, his arm vanished.
However, he had no time to rest as those he had beaten to the ground were rising up again.
It reappeared again as the boy spun around, landing a punch that sent the axe-weilder sprawling.
Every desperate attack by the long rangers wouldn’t connect. Any attack by the close combatants didn’t either.
He was almost Invincible.
The lone figure quickly dealt with the close combatants before going on to the long-rangers, swiftly eliminating them.
"....That was disappointing."
He finally said, standing alone on an empty clearing.
"I thought they would be able to give me some sort of excitement before I moved on to the main course, but I guess I thought wrong."
He murmured before walking.
The boy was heading to the shore.
"I guess that when you’re the son of nobles, even if you’re an illegitimate one, you’re capabilities will surpass those of ordinary people by a wide gap."
He mused.
"That being said, I wonder how Arthur is doing since he was taken down to the level of a commoner."
.....
He almost facepalmed himself but stopped in time.
