Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 672: Let’s Eat Them
At this moment, an instantaneous ripple of power suddenly travelled through the hearts of every single high-ranking mage and warrior within the Primordial Expanse! There was a sense that a great calamity had just been unleashed on the world, and they all understood that this was something they could not ignore!
Deep in the bountiful green forests of the world of Arandelle in the third Primordial Domain, King Farlow looked up from the book he had been reading to his unconscious wife, and his face squeezed into a frown as he wondered what that power was!
On the Eastern Blue Plains of a world within the fifth Primordial Domain, Sicario raised his head and stared up at the sky with a wistful smile as he felt a familiar power wash over him.
’So it begins. Show me how you intend to survive this one, Jason Marc.’
On the world of Nox, the home of the Vympir race, Queen Lamina suddenly sat up in her bed, and her eyes narrowed as she felt a great power wash over her!
’No, it can’t be. How are you alive? How are you alive!?’
On an empty world located on the outskirts of the first Primordial Domain, the Great Celestial of Order, C’thlyanu, stirred from his eternal slumber as he felt that power wash over him! For the first time in years, the Celestial shifted in his sleep, and this one action caused a great earthquake to travel across the world!
And on a distant world outside the ten Primordial Domains, a tall, mysterious man with long flowing dark hair and deep black eyes sat on the dying corpse of a beheaded Primordial, and he stared up at the sky with a deep frown on his face.
’What the hell are you getting yourself involved with, son?’
These great powerhouses were scattered across the entire Primordial Expanse, but the moment the great power of a Dead Apostle suddenly began to spread across the Primordial Expanse, there wasn’t a single one of them that didn’t notice it immediately! Every mage from the TITAN Rank and above possessed a different form of strength from weaker mages in the SSS Rank and below, and this meant that it was far easier for a mage in the TITAN Rank and above to sense the power being released by other TITAN Ranks! And even though it had been a few centuries since the last time they sensed this power, they were all able to instinctively know who it was! This was Queen Gillian of the Vympirs!
BOOM!
A sonic boom echoed throughout the air of a distant world as Gillian shot through the horizon like a rocket! Gillian’s body was covered in the red hue of her blood magic, and she tore across the world at supersonic speeds before shooting through Dimensional Circles as she made her way towards the Machina! In the throne room of the Overlord within the world of the Machina, the Grand General looked up in shock as he tried to understand what he just felt at that moment! There was no way this was real! The magical signature coming towards this world couldn’t actually be real! If the magical signature he was feeling was the real thing, then that could only mean that Jason had broken through the [Cage of Eternity] and freed Gillian already! But how in the world was that possible!?
’The Cage is a First-Ranked Runic Sequence! It was made by one of the highest-ranking Rune Crafters in existence! That isn’t something you can just break through this easily! I studied runes for thousands of years just to try and break through that rune, but I was never able to! Jason has only been a Rune Crafter for a few months, so how in the world did he manage to break through it!?’
The Grand General really didn’t understand how Jason was able to break through the rune so quickly, but at that moment, he didn’t have the time to worry about something like that! The fact that Jason was able to break through the rune meant that Queen Gillian was now free, and there was no doubt in the Grand General’s mind that the first place she would be coming to was the world of the Machina!
’What should we do?’
The Overlord sent this message to the Grand General through their mental link. The meeting of Generals was still ongoing, and one of the Generals was busy giving a report of the Machina army’s failures, but neither the Grand General nor the Overlord was listening anymore. The Overlord was waiting patiently for the Grand General to give him an answer, and the Grand General was thinking deeply about what would happen now. In truth, this is the way things had always been. Right from when this Overlord took charge of the Machina a few centuries ago, the Overlord had always depended on the Grand General to make the most difficult choices for him since the Grand General was the one who possessed Alex’s mind, while the Overlord was the one with the power to actually rule over this Domain! And the current situation was no different!
Now that Gillian was coming to the world of the Machina, a lot of the plans that the Grand General had made for them would have to be moved up! Gillian was not the sort of person they could underestimate. Even though the Overlord was extremely powerful, it would be very difficult to fight against a fully powered Gillian.
’The only reason we were able to face her the last time was because she had already been weakened by the Overlord. But she was smart enough to lock herself inside the [Cage of Eternity], so I couldn’t finish what I started. I’ve gotten stronger, but will this power be enough to stop Gillian when she is at her full power?’
The Grand General decided that he wasn’t interested in entering a power struggle with Gillian! It didn’t matter if Gillian was coming here or not since the Grand General had already decided that he was going to be leaving this world, so it was better if they just packed up and left before they had to get into a fight!
"My Lord, is there something wrong?"
One of the Generals in the room spoke up in worry when they saw the Overlord’s dazed expression. The Overlord had been listening to the Grand General’s thought process all this while, and the Overlord closed his eyes and let out a heavy sigh of relief once the Grand General said that they weren’t going to be fighting Gillian! That meant that it was time for them to leave this world! In truth, both the Overlord and the Grand General had grown tired of the Machina, so they were glad that they no longer had to pretend like this! 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
The Overlord pushed himself off his throne, and he stretched with a loud groan under the curious gazes of his Generals before he smiled widely and spoke loudly.
"Do you think we should eat them?"
The Generals all felt shock pass through their bodies when they heard this from the Overlord, and they began wondering what the hell he was talking about! The Overlord had been acting very weird ever since he first came out from his augmentation a few hours ago, and the Generals now knew that there was some secret scheme going on between the Overlord and the Grand General that none of them knew anything about! At the side, the Grand General closed down the holographic interface he had been using for the meeting, and he stood up before nodding his head.
"Yes, let’s eat them."
