Substitute Bride: Utterly Pampered by Her Billionaire Husband-Chapter 1264: Give Her a Lollipop
Willow Crawford got up and was about to run.
But Vivi Xavier, quick on her feet, grabbed Willow and pulled her to the blood test station. "Willow, don’t run, it’s your turn for the blood test!"
Vivi even thoughtfully helped Willow roll up her sleeves.
Willow, "..."
"Willow, be good and listen. I’ll go buy you a lollipop as a reward later."
...
After the blood test, the blood report came out quickly. It was just a common cold, and the doctor prescribed some medication.
The two girls walked out of the hospital lobby. "Willow, wait here for me; I’ll go buy you a lollipop."
Vivi ran off quickly; she remembered there was a supermarket up ahead.
Willow had been afraid of shots since she was little. Each time she got a shot, her mommy would give her a lollipop as a reward.
This lollipop symbolized love and courage, so Vivi wanted to give Willow a lollipop too.
"Hey, Vivi, don’t go." Willow wanted to call Vivi back, but Vivi had already run far away.
Willow could only sit back down and wait, her long lashes drooping. She felt downcast because the injection site really hurt. Her luck had been so bad lately, running into all sorts of unfortunate things.
Soon, in her lowered gaze appeared a pair of white men’s sneakers. Someone had arrived.
Willow looked up and saw Miles Linden.
It was Miles.
The boy was so tall, already about one-seventy-five centimeters. He stood in front of her, with warm sunlight pouring from behind him, outlining his handsome features with a gilded edge.
He blocked all the light in her world, casting a silhouette in her eyes.
Willow paused; how did he come quietly, and why was he here?
Willow didn’t want to pay attention to him. She was quite proud by nature, and since he disliked her so much, she wouldn’t bother with him anymore.
Willow got up and was about to leave.
But a well-defined big hand reached over and grabbed her slender fair wrist.
It was him; he had grabbed her.
Willow was forced to stop; this was the second time he had seized her wrist, and she hadn’t expected that her first close contact with a male would be him, the second time too.
"Let go of me!" Willow quickly tried to shake off his hand.
Miles glanced at her resistant look and pursed his thin lips, then took out something and handed it to her, "For you."
It was a lollipop.
He actually gave her a lollipop.
Willow paused; she hadn’t thought he’d come to give her a lollipop, so what did he mean now?
"You’re the one who told me to get lost, the one who said I shouldn’t show up again, the one who called me selfish and vain. Does he think of her as just a stray cat or dog on the street, to summon and dismiss at will?
"I don’t want it!" Willow angrily lifted her hand, forcefully knocking the lollipop out of his hand.
Smack.
The lollipop fell onto the grass.
Miles let go of Willow and bent down to pick it up.
All this time, Miles had always been high and mighty. Now Willow watched this haughty, mischievous boy bowing in front of her to pick up the lollipop from the grass, and her heart suddenly softened.
The little hands hanging by her side clenched slightly, but Willow didn’t let herself give in. She wouldn’t give him another chance, another chance to bully her.
Willow lifted her feet and left.
"Stop." His cold voice came from behind her.
Willow’s steps didn’t halt.
Soon, Miles caught up from behind. His strong, well-defined fingers grasped her fair wrist once more, pulling her back.
"Miles, what are you doing? Let go of me! If you keep this up, I’ll call someone and say you..."
"Say what?"
Miles gave her a light push, and Willow suddenly felt a chill behind her. He had cornered her against the wall.
This position...
Willow had seen it before; it’s called "kabedon.
No time to consider all this, Willow didn’t want to lose her aura at this moment. Her watery, bright eyes glared at him angrily, "I’ll say you’re harassing me!"
As soon as these words fell, smack, Miles placed his right hand on the wall beside her.
The boy’s one-seventy-five height pressed down, slowly approaching her, their breath mingling immediately.
Reflexively, Willow tried to retreat, but there was nowhere to go. She watched helplessly as he crossed the safe distance between male and female, closing in on her.
Now his face was right in front of hers, so close that she could see just how strikingly handsome he was. The boy’s body was still slightly immature, looking a bit lean, yet his back was wide, exuding tension, and with his cool, aloof presence, he naturally carried a superior fashion sense, like a walking clothes hanger.
Willow was trapped by him; no boy had ever "kabedon-ed" her before. Her pinkish-white face slowly steamed with heat.
Miles watched her, his clear, black-and-white pupils filled with the girl’s bright, enchanting face. He said, "Do you know what harassment is?"
What?
Willow was momentarily confused.
Seeing her innocent, clean demeanor fell into the boy’s eyes, it was incomparable. Miles curved his thin lips into a devilish smile and lowered his voice, "You’ve already accused me of harassment, so why don’t I just make it official now?"
Willow’s mind went blank, only then did she understand what he meant. How could he be so... shameless?
He was clearly trying to mess with her!
Willow raised her hand and slapped his face.
Smack. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
A crisp slap sound echoed.
Miles didn’t dodge, letting her hit him.
He looked at the girl, who was embarrassed and angry, her bright eyes darting around on his face, like a frenzied little kitten.
Cute and fierce.
In fact, he could have avoided it but chose not to because he needed this slap to wake himself up.
Her strength was small, striking his face with her little hand didn’t hurt at all.
Miles moved slightly.
What was he doing?
Originally, Willow was a bit scared after slapping him, wary inside. Now that he moved, she let out a soft cry, closing her eyes in fear.
He wouldn’t hit her, would he?
This moody, mischievous boy was never easy to deal with, quite dangerous. If she was right, he was petty and vengeful. Would he slap her back?
Willow felt very uneasy, but soon his voice came from above, "Open your mouth."
What?
Willow slowly opened her eyes, finding that Miles didn’t hit her. Instead, he had peeled the lollipop and offered it to her lips.
He was feeding her the lollipop.
Willow’s face instantly turned beet red, a bashful blush spreading to her snow-white earlobes. She turned away forcefully, refusing, "I won’t eat it! I just won’t eat it!"
The delicate girl was trapped between the wall and him. She was too shy to move, dodging and avoiding, while the sunlight shone perfectly, a wild joy like a vine growing uncontrollably in her chest. Miles slowly squinted his eyes, his handsome features softened with tenderness, "Then just lick it a little."
