Chapter 1321: Chapter 1321: Willow Crawford, Stop Squirming in My Arms!

Willow Crawford forcefully shook off his hand, "Don’t touch me!"

She thought he was dirty.

He flirted with many girls. Hannah Alden had drunk with him in celebration; that beautiful academic star had kissed him on the cheek, and he never turned anyone down.

Miles Linden looked at her. Actually, from the moment she appeared at the door, his eyes hadn’t left her. She had just showered, her pure long hair slightly damp, a palm-sized face without makeup, rosy and innocent, and the killer was her pair of watery big eyes now angrily staring at him, radiating allure.

This little princess is the most precious being, heaven’s most perfect handiwork.

She arrived in a hurry, wearing a creamy yellow nightdress underneath a white jacket, as fresh as a daisy. She hadn’t even changed her shoes, running in pink slippers.

Miles knew she liked him.

He used to be unsure, but now he was certain; she truly had fallen for him.

Miles curled his thin lips, his voice hoarse, "What, jealous?"

"Who’s jealous? I’m not!" Willow denied.

Miles reached out, held her soft hand, and placed it on his handsome face, "I know you’re jealous. Hit me then; don’t you love hitting my face? Go ahead."

What a lunatic, who asks to be slapped in the face?

Many men wouldn’t let a woman touch their face, especially dignified men, as it concerns their pride.

But Willow knew he wasn’t joking; he really kind of liked her hitting his face.

To behave like that to her, saying a girlfriend is for... kissing, there’s a bit of a kink in his heart!

Willow withdrew her hand, "I wouldn’t dare hit you; save your face for someone else’s kisses!"

As soon as she finished speaking, ha, Miles laughed.

What’s he laughing about?

Only now did Willow realize her words just dripped with jealousy, confirming she indeed was jealous.

"Willow, don’t be mad. The person earlier tried to kiss me, but I dodged it, didn’t let her succeed. I’m your boyfriend now; I’m very loyal to male virtue, won’t let other girls touch me." Miles explained.

Earlier at the bar, he really did dodge. Besides Willow, he seemed unable to accept touches from other girls. Though he recognized this wasn’t a good sign, it also made sense; upon meeting Willow in his youth, such beauty before him made his tastes picky, no longer interested in other girls.

He’s her boyfriend?

Isn’t this self-appointed?

Willow felt Miles had decided on their couple status, not claiming she was his girlfriend, rather declaring he was her boyfriend.

The beautiful academic star didn’t manage to kiss him. Well, Willow admitted the dull displeasure inside her vanished, but she still didn’t want to bother with him, "Why’d you come along, go back and keep drinking, I won’t bother with you anymore."

Willow stepped away, intending to hail a cab, but this bustling area had no cabs available just yet.

And Miles kept following her.

Wherever she went, he followed like a shadow.

Willow wanted to shake him off; a bus stopped at the station, and Willow promptly boarded it.

It was late, the city’s last bus, crowded with no seats, so Willow after inserting two carried coins found a spot to stand.

"Everyone, please be safe, I’m starting the bus," the driver called out, ready to close the doors.

But then Miles’s tall and handsome figure suddenly dashed aboard the bus.

"Hey buddy, you need to pay; buses require payment, two coins," the driver said.

Miles didn’t have coins. He looked around the crowd, quickly fixing his gaze on Willow.

Willow raised her willow-leaf eyebrows at him, her eyes mischievous, as if saying, haha, you don’t have coins, just wait to be kicked off by the driver.

Miles saw through her little playful thought and spoke, "I don’t have coins, but my girlfriend does."

"Your girlfriend? Where’s your girlfriend?" The driver turned to look.

Miles pointed at Willow, "There, that’s my girlfriend!"

Willow was speechless; she didn’t anticipate him following onto the bus, declaring to others she was his girlfriend. Now everyone looked over, kindly reminding, "Hey pretty girl, your boyfriend’s here; he didn’t bring coins, saying you have some for him."

"...," Willow almost wanted to find a hole to hide in.

"Miss!" The driver called, "Miss, come on, give your boyfriend two coins, I need to drive."

Willow closed her eyes, resignedly went over to insert two coins for Miles.

Afterwards, she glared hard at Miles.

Miles curled his lips, eyes filled with uncontainable tenderness.

Willow returned to her previous spot standing; the last bus was truly packed, people squeezed all around her, and Willow felt someone bumping into her.

Not used to bodily contact with strangers, she tried to edge away.

Yet in the crowded carriage, there’s no place to evade; people continued bumping her.

Willow glanced around, on her left was a fairly handsome young man, to her right an uncle, all surrounded by men pressing against her.

Willow furrowed her brows, deeply uncomfortable, just about to change spots.

Then a large hand reached over, grasping her slender waist, Miles’s familiar deep voice sounded atop her head, "Stand steady."

Miles had arrived, standing right behind her.

The clean breath of the youth mixed with the scent of spirits swept over, and Willow looked at the glass window. His tall figure enveloped her small and tender self entirely, gripping the bus pole with one hand, holding her delicate waist with the other, firmly shielding her within his embrace.

Willow shifted uneasily twice, attempting to distance herself from him.

The several men beside were deliberately squeezing Willow; with Miles’s intervention, they scowled at him.

Miles showed no expression. The girl in his arms wriggled, so he tightened his fingers, pulled her soft waist directly into his embrace. His handsome eyelids fluttered, his cold and dangerous phoenix eyes glanced bleakly through the bus window at those men, silent yet exuding a powerful aura, chillingly intimidating. But his words were directed to Willow, his voice stern yet gentle, "Willow, don’t squirm around in my arms!"
