The Paper Man, previously suppressed by Wei Wufu’s Power of Justice, now seemed different, completely unaffected by that power.

Bang, bang! A few swings of the Mourning Stick later, Wei Wufu was forced back repeatedly, barely able to defend himself.

Lin Shen noticed the shift—while the Paper Man fought Wei Wufu, the strength of White Impermanence diminished significantly.

The Paper Man seemed to realize this as well, and its halted crying quickly resumed.

The white light around it brightened once more, and White Impermanence’s battle prowess increased in turn.

Lin Shen confirmed his suspicion: White Impermanence’s power was tied to the Paper Man’s crying.

As Lin Shen strategized how to deal with White Impermanence and eliminate the Paper Man first, a burst of black light flashed from the store. The beast, now a streak of darkness, lunged at the Paper Man, which was still locked in combat with Wei Wufu.

Unleashing his full power, Lin Shen began to overwhelm the White Impermanence Divine Soul. Enhanced by his immense Attributes, his Fist Power clashed repeatedly with the Mourning Stick, forcing White Impermanence back step by step.

The headless Paper Man was no match for the combined attacks of Wei Wufu and the beast. Before long, its body was shredded into fragments.
