Super Template System In Marvel and Beyond-Chapter 165: Leveling up
Chapter 165: Leveling up
Boa nodded, and the group made their way toward the outskirts of Reidan City. The desolate roads showed clear signs of decline—broken stone paths, abandoned buildings, and merchants wary of traveling due to the constant threat of giant worms and vampires.
As they reached the outer limits, Dave scanned the surroundings. "We need a place where monsters are strong enough to give me quick level-ups but not too overwhelming at my current state."
Boa thought for a moment before suggesting, "The outskirts of the Huben River. While the vampires control most of the water supply, the area around it is filled with lower-ranked blood thralls and giant worm hatchlings. They should be manageable for now."
Dave smirked. "Sounds perfect. Let's get started."
They moved swiftly, avoiding any unnecessary trouble within the city. Soon, they reached a barren land near the river, where eerie silence loomed.
Then, the ground trembled.
[ A Giant Worm Hatchling (Lv. 135) has appeared! ]
Boa stepped back slightly. "Even the hatchlings are level 135? This place really is dangerous."
Dave cracked his neck, gripping his sword tightly. "Good. That just means I'll level up even faster."
Without hesitation, he dashed forward, activating his newly acquired skills. His sword gleamed as he swung it down.
[ Flame Burst Ripple Slash! ]
A fiery arc shot toward the worm, cutting through its thick hide and igniting the wound. The creature let out an ear-piercing screech as it writhed in pain.
[ -4,500 HP ]
"Not bad for a level 1," Boa commented, impressed.
The worm lunged at Dave, but with his Ultra Sensitivity, he dodged effortlessly, moving with precise agility. His movements were almost instinctive, as if he had been using this ability for years.
Dave grinned. "Let's see how much EXP you can give me."
He raised his sword again, ready for another attack.
Dave shifted his stance, his grip tightening on the hilt of his sword as the Giant Worm Hatchling recoiled from his last strike. It screeched again, burrowing partially into the ground before launching itself at him in a rapid counterattack.
Dave's eyes glowed slightly as he activated [Madra's Reflex], a passive skill that heightened his reaction speed against incoming attacks. The worm's lunging strike seemed slower in his vision, allowing him to sidestep gracefully and counter with a clean slash.
[ Swift Counter! ]
His sword shimmered as he struck the worm's exposed side, cleaving deep into its flesh.
[ -5,200 HP ]
The worm let out another agonized cry, its body writhing violently as it struggled against the pain.
Dave could feel the slight strain of his skills on his meager mana pool, but he pushed forward regardless. He had no choice—his only option was to level up as fast as possible.
Boa, watching from the side, crossed her arms. "Your attack power is solid, but your mana's going to run dry fast. Do you even have enough to use another skill?"
Dave smirked. "Just enough for one more."
He raised his sword, the blade pulsing with crimson energy as he activated [Madra Swordsmanship: 1,000 men piercer shot].
A powerful force gathered at the tip of his blade as he lunged forward. The attack pierced through the worm's open wound, striking its core. Though the attack didn't stop and continued to move striking the desert creating a hole there.
[ Critical Hit! -7,800 HP ]
The giant worm let out a final shriek before collapsing lifelessly onto the ground.
[ You have defeated a Giant Worm Hatchling (Lv. 135)! ]
[ EXP gained: 12,500 ]
[ You have leveled up! ]
[ Level 1 → Level 24 ]
Dave exhaled, and looked at the Stat points he gained, each level up gives 10 stat point but for him who is Madra Successor he gets 13, hence he got 360 which he divided in three part's equally Strength, Agility and Intelligence.
Boa whistled. "24 levels from just one kill? That's insane."
Dave sheathed his sword. "Exactly. That's why we're not stopping here. Let's find more."
As if answering his call, the ground rumbled once more.
[ Multiple Giant Worm Hatchlings detected! ]
Boa cracked her knuckles, stepping forward. "Looks like they heard you. This time, I'll help you out a little—don't get too cocky."
Dave grinned as he readied his blade. "Wouldn't dream of it."
With that, they prepared for another wave of battle.

The ground shook violently as the Giant Worm Hatchlings began to emerge from the sand, their massive bodies writhing and slithering with menacing speed. Dave narrowed his eyes, feeling the surge of power coursing through him from his recent level-ups. With each enemy he faced, his skill set was growing, and the more experience he gained, the more confident he became.
"Looks like they're not just a couple of stragglers this time," Dave said, his voice calm but determined.
Boa's armor shimmered as she stepped forward, her Saintess Knight aura flaring. She unsheathed her sword, and the ethereal glow surrounding her brightened. "I'm ready. Let's do this." Her stance shifted into a battle-ready position, her sword held high.
Dave's eyes flicked to the incoming swarm, his mind already calculating the best approach. "We'll take them down quickly, divide and conquer. I'll focus on the ones in the front, you take the sides and back."
Boa nodded, her confidence in Dave's abilities unwavering. "Got it. Don't let them surround you."
As the first worm lunged at him, Dave dashed forward, the ground cracking beneath his feet as he engaged his [Madra Swordsmanship: 1,000 Men Piercer Shot]. The crimson blade surged forward, cutting through the massive creature's body with ease. The attack didn't stop at the first worm, continuing through the creature and into the desert, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
[ Critical Hit! -8,200 HP ]
Another worm fell with a loud, echoing thud. The attack had taken down one worm, but now several others were closing in on him, their size and power a stark reminder of the dangers lurking in the area.
Boa leaped into action, her sword glowing as she used her Saintess Knight abilities to enhance her strikes. "Let's finish this quickly!" She swung her blade in a wide arc, cutting through two of the approaching worms with ease.
Her powerful strikes had a radiant effect, the holy light from her Saintess class amplifying her attack damage. With each swing, she cleared a path for Dave, giving him more room to maneuver.
Meanwhile, Diana, who had been quietly watching from the back, stepped forward with a sudden burst of energy. Her Saintess class shone brightly as she summoned a protective barrier around Dave, enhancing his defense while keeping enemies at bay.
