Super Template System In Marvel and Beyond-Chapter 213: National Competition V
Chapter 213 - National Competition V
Another journalist quickly raised their hand, eager to shift the topic.
"Dave, considering your unprecedented success in today's events, many are calling you the strongest player in the competition. How do you feel about that title?"
Dave leaned back slightly, his expression thoughtful.
"I appreciate the recognition," he said, his tone calm yet firm. "But this is just the beginning. Strength isn't just about winning; it's about how you use it. Titles don't matter to me—what matters is pushing my limits and showing the true potential of magic."

His words sent a wave of excitement through the reporters. One of them eagerly followed up.
"You mentioned 'true potential of magic.' Are you saying the magic in this game isn't being used to its full extent?"
A small smirk appeared on Dave's lips.
"Most people use magic as just a tool—a means to attack, defend, or support. But magic is far more than that. It's an art, a force that can reshape the world itself. My goal isn't just to win—I want to show everyone what magic is truly capable of."
His answer sent murmurs through the audience. Many of the reporters were already imagining headlines like:
"The Hero King's True Goal: Unleashing the Full Power of Magic!"
A few journalists still had questions, but before they could ask, the staff member stepped forward.
"That will be all for today. Player Dave needs to prepare for tomorrow's events."
As Dave stood up, the audience erupted into cheers.
"Hero King! Hero King! Hero King!"
Dave simply smiled, giving a small wave before walking off the stage.

The next day was the Target Processing Match, but Dave chose not to participate. He knew he couldn't win this one on his own.
The reason? Grid's autonomous moving item—Pavarium Blades. These blades were designed to counter all competitors, ensuring Grid's victory. Even attacking them would only stall them for a few seconds before they resumed movement, making any effort against them a waste of time. Because of this, Grid was guaranteed the gold medal.
Other competitors also recognized this and avoided facing him. However, some from him team still participated and ended up earning silver medals—including Trish and Misaki.
Both of them excelled in the archery category, surpassing most of their opponents with superior precision and strategy. Though they ultimately lost to Grid's flying blades, they still secured silver medals, which was a great achievement.
With this, Japan now had two new rankers—Misaki and Trish, raising hopes that they might win more gold in future events.
Additionally, Trish managed to eliminate Zibal and Hurent in the competition—two of the most powerful rankers and top contenders for the championship. This shocking result shook the rankings and made everyone rethink who the real threats in the game were.
The Third came out to be Brazil thanks to Trish Eliminating USA strongest players and Brazil Jishuka nailed it with her archery winning Bronze for her Team.
Like any other event, player interviews were held at the end of the day. Many players and reporters questioned why Dave didn't participate in the Target Processing Match.
However, as the discussions went on, people eventually realized the reason—each player could only participate in three events.
With this in mind, most assumed that Dave was saving his last spot for the PvP match, where he could showcase his true strength.
Thus, the second day ended with a surprise—the revelation of Pagma's Descendant, another Legendary Class, as well as the emergence of two new rankers from Japan.
For the next few days, the events continued, but most were dominated by the Japanese team. One by one, many rankers emerged from Japan, causing even the top players to be shocked.
By the end, the world couldn't help but wonder if Dave had a special connection with the SA Group, given how many powerful players seemed to appear around him.
Though the rumors remained, most didn't give them much thought as the main event finally arrived—the PvP matches.
"There are a total of 32 PvP participants. The matches were drawn through a fair lottery."
"The number of participants is surprisingly small."
"It's because individuals are limited to three events. The players prioritize events where they can get gold medals, so the 32 players participating in the PvP are all renowned top rankers."
Emma told Dave as he nodded " it's normal all Players are confident in them they are best " He said looking at the publicly voted top ten most anticipated winners.
"Surprisingly, Grid is last," Dave said as Emma nodded.
"People have yet to see his strength because he has only participated in target processing and pet race, and in both cases, he didn't show much. But given his class is Legendary, I think he should be at least 3rd or 4th at best," she said.
Dave shrugged. "Does it matter when I'm participating in the first place?" he asked.
Emma, sitting in his lap, checked the rankings before smirking. "No, and that's why in the top ten, you are at the very top in this PvP," she said, cupping his face.
He pulled her in for a kiss. "I wonder if it will be good... just wait for me," he said.
She simply nodded.
"The opening match is between Hurent and Grid, huh?" Dave mumbled as he watched the first match.
It was a normal match at first, but Grid had arrogantly remarked that he would knock out Hurent in ten seconds. Because of this, people were excited for the match, yet it turned out to be the very first match-The opening match.
"Who do you think will win?" Emm asked.
Dave answered confidently, "It's obvious—it's Grid. Hurent made one mistake. He doesn't know what Grid's skill set is exactly, yet he rushed in blindly."
As the match started, Hurent charged forward.
"This is where he gets deleted," Dave remarked.
Grid immediately used Restraint Sword Dance, stunning Hurent in place, followed by his one-shot skill— Kill.
Kill stabbed right through Hurent body, logging him out.
"And there he goes" Dave said, as a matter of fact.
Emma nodded. "Hurent was blinded by pride and anger, so he never saw it coming. Such a good class is wasted on him."
