Supreme Dragon Lord-Chapter 322: Danger!

"Don’t come over!" Lei Man hastily shouted when she saw Chu Lingjun move.

But it was too late. Chu Lingjun had already reached her side. She was now in the very center of the onslaught, becoming another target for the Power of Thunder.

"Get out of here!" Lei Man yelled again, her brows knitted tightly. She did not want to drag Chu Lingjun into this. If they were both trapped, escaping would become all the more difficult.

Just as she spoke, and before Chu Lingjun could react, several pillars of light coalesced from the Power of Thunder and shot toward them. This new barrage was even more powerful than the last.

Lei Man’s eyelid twitched. Forming seals with her hands at lightning speed, she once again conjured an Energy Barrier to block the attack.

"I’ll help you!" Chu Lingjun had no intention of leaving. She rapidly circulated her own Battle qi, reinforcing the Energy Barrier.

She had already sensed the immense force of the attack. Even someone as strong as Lei Man was struggling against these lightning pillars. She had to help. If one of them fell, their predicament would become far more dangerous.

BOOM! A deafening roar echoed as Chu Lingjun was sent flying.

PUH! Her face turned deathly pale as she spat out a mouthful of blood. She flew backward for a great distance before she could finally regain her footing.

Lei Man was in no better state. The powerful attack had taken its toll, and blood trickled from the corner of her mouth.

As they were injured, the source point seemed to sense it and began to vibrate even more violently.

RUMBLE! Dense bolts of lightning flickered around them as a terrifying pressure descended upon Lei Man and Chu Lingjun in an instant.

Suddenly, Chu Lingjun felt a crushing weight, as if a great mountain was pressing down on her. The immense pressure was unbearable, forcing her to one knee.

"This power... it’s getting stronger!" Chu Lingjun gasped, her breathing becoming labored.

Seeing her state, Lei Man’s expression grew even more grave. She could also clearly feel that the power contained within the lightning was much stronger than before.

SIZZLE...

Dense arcs of lightning now completely saturated the space. Then, they all converged, forming several more massive pillars of lightning.

"Not good!" Even Lei Man was shocked by this sight. She rapidly circulated her Battle qi, accelerating its flow as she screamed at Chu Lingjun, "Reinforce the barrier!"

However, before Chu Lingjun could react, the lightning pillars shot forth. To Lei Man’s confusion, they did not attack her. Instead, they all streaked toward Chu Lingjun.

What is going on?

Faced with a simultaneous assault from all the lightning pillars, Chu Lingjun’s mind went blank. The terrifying power approaching her was so immense it warped the very space around her. Chu Lingjun knew this force was far beyond her ability to withstand.

Yet, her survival instinct kicked in. An image of Long Chen flashed through her mind. For the chance to see him again, she absolutely could not fall here!

BOOM!

Chu Lingjun roared at the sky as a powerful force erupted from within her. A faint golden light enveloped her body, and her aura surged in an instant!

Her Primordial Dao Body was unleashed! All of her latent potential was completely unlocked at this moment.

Her eyes snapped open, a glint of gold flashing within them. With a swing of her arm, a golden Palm Shadow instantly materialized. It pulsed with a vast and formidable power as it shot toward the lightning pillars.

BANG!

A deafening crash erupted. The stalemate lasted only a few seconds before the lightning pillars shattered the golden Palm Shadow.

Their momentum unbroken, the lightning pillars continued to bear down on Chu Lingjun!

Having used her last resort, Chu Lingjun felt a wave of powerlessness as the lightning pillars surged toward her.

Am I really going to die here?

WHOOSH!

Chu Lingjun’s vision blurred as a figure appeared in front of her. Looking closely, she saw it was Lei Man.

"Get back, quickly!"

"I’ll protect you!"

Lei Man yelled, and with a thrust of her palm, she sent Chu Lingjun flying backward. This action, however, left her own defenses compromised.

When the lightning pillars slammed into her Defensive Barrier, a terrifying pressure instantly enveloped Lei Man. She resisted with all her might.

But under the tremendous pressure, the bones throughout her body let out sickening cracks. Blood streamed from the corners of her mouth. It did not stop there; blood soon began to seep from her nose, eyes, and ears.

She was bleeding from all seven orifices. Not only had she suffered severe internal injuries, but her organs were also hemorrhaging profusely.

Her life hung by a thread.

"AHH!" Lei Man roared as the Battle qi within her churned violently. She forcibly circulated what energy she had left, desperately resisting the onslaught.

Watching this unfold, Chu Lingjun’s heart clenched in anguish. She never imagined that, at this critical moment, Lei Man would jump in front of her. She had pushed Chu Lingjun to safety, taking the full force of the attack herself.

What am I supposed to do?

In her desperation, Chu Lingjun anxiously wracked her brain for a way out. She knew Lei Man could not hold on for much longer.

Her gaze swept across the area, finally landing on the source point. Chu Lingjun’s eyes lit up.

She realized that all the lightning pillars in this space were being generated by that point.

If I destroy that thing, will it stop the attacks?

With this thought, she leaped into the air and sped toward the source point.

But before she could get close, several more bolts of the Power of Thunder hissed to life, sweeping toward her with powerful fluctuations of energy.
