Wu Yue could hear the panting of the two large, snow-white tigers running beside Yuan Lang growing increasingly labored.

She reached a small hand into the basket at her waist, took out two elixirs, and patted the back of the large tiger beneath her. "Yuan Lang, open your mouth."

The Beastman paused, startled, but then opened his tiger mouth without hesitation.

He felt something small and round being tossed into his mouth by the young female. The next moment, it melted on his tongue.

As he spoke, he pranced smugly back and forth around the middle-aged Beastmen. "I felt all that lost stamina come rushing right back. I could run all the way back to the tribe without even stopping for breath!"

The middle-aged Beastmen were instantly envious. The father of Teng Qian and Teng Kun dashed over to Yuan Lang’s side, giving Wu Yue, on Yuan Lang’s back, an aggrieved look. "Young female, why didn’t we old-timers get any of those magical pills?"

Wu Yue gave a dry laugh. ’Could I really tell them I just ran out?’

"Sirs, you are all so strong and full of stamina. Why would you need pills like these? I only gave them to the younger Beastmen because I saw they were flagging and I was worried they would slow you all down."

You have to admit, flattery will get you everywhere.

Upon hearing this, the middle-aged Beastman shot his son a smug look. "You hear that? She only gave it to you because you were too weak."

A moment later, the smug laughter of the middle-aged Beastmen drifted from the back of the pack.
