Sweet like Wine: Love Your Dimples Even More-Chapter 85 - 52: If Deep Affection Fails, Then Use Reason
Summer Fairmont took a picture of Sean Lowell’s table from a distance and then left.
After leaving the hotel, Summer leaned against the corner wall and sent the picture she just took to Artie Vaughn.
Just a second later, Artie called immediately: "Ahhh, Summer, what’s going on?!"
"As seen in the picture," Summer’s usual two-word response.
"Ah Summer, the guy sitting behind the glass in the picture just now, doesn’t he look like Master Sean Lowell? Could he be Sean’s twin?"
"No." Although Summer can’t remember the taste of alcohol, remembering faces is no problem at all.
"Ah Summer, so when you say no, you mean they’re not twins, right? Which means, you’re sure it’s Master Sean Lowell, yes?"
"Yes."
"Ah!! Summer, why is the master in Scotland, did you talk to him or what?"
"No." Summer is always about minimalistic speech; if one word can explain it, she won’t use two.
"Ah Summer, wait for Artie to confirm, okay? Artie wants to zoom in on the picture and take a closer look."
Artie zoomed in on the picture several times, getting even more excited: "Ahhh~ Summer, this really is the guy Artie likes. But why does Sean look kind of worn out?"
"Dunno." Summer noticed the person, but expressions and such are not within her concern.
If it weren’t for the guy inside being someone Artie, in all seriousness, said she truly liked to prove she didn’t trick Summer back to the country, Summer probably wouldn’t have even cared.
"Ah Summer, can you help Artie go see what’s up with Master Sean? Joining The Dump Me Alliance these past two days, Artie just realized how rare it was for The Jilted to make an exception and do the livestream for us. He used to really only show up for the annual event once a year."
"Yourself." Summer spoke in Chinese that others couldn’t comprehend.
"Ah Summer, you’re saying let Artie go herself, right? If Artie were there, she’d just rush over and give a big loving hug without a second thought, but isn’t it Summer who abandoned Artie in the country?" Artie feared Summer would refuse again.
Having Summer reject a proposal twice in a row is practically a lifelong refusal.
The Rhyming Siren started her endless whining before Summer could refuse:
"Ah Summer, you see Master Sean, unfamiliar with the place, sitting there alone, looking so lonely and worn out and pitiful. Ah Summer, can’t you help the master take care of the master she likes? The master and master are such a perfect match. If anything happened to the master, the master would be heartbroken. If the guy she likes were kidnapped by crazy fans, Artie would be truly, really so pitiful."
If Summer doesn’t agree, Artie can whine with repeated words until the end of time.
Half of Artie’s heart had returned when Summer went back to Scotland.
Now, she wished she could sprout wings and fly over directly.
How did Sean Lowell become so worn out in just a few days without confessing?
Is the charging power not high enough?
Is the mental nourishment not sufficient?
So frustrating!
Can Summer handle the confession kind of thing as well?
Summer’s turn back, under Artie’s pressure, gave Gordo quite a shock.
He only spun a fresh white lie, and now it’s about to be squeezed into fresh colored juice?
"Oh my! It has a return function too?" Gordon Sterling hurriedly dragged Sean back toward the restaurant before Summer noticed: "You go sit back at the table, I’ll go upstairs to hide and think of something."
"..."
ヾ(≧O≦)〃~ What the~ Mommy~ Hooli~ Excuse me! Going upstairs to hide and think?
Time froze at this moment, Earth’s rotation and revolution paused.
Not even coming up with a plan together with Sean.
What about "Once I get there, I’ll settle everything for you"?
Gordo, heavy on promises and never breaking his word, went upstairs to hide without a second thought.
The top streamer still hadn’t decided how to not show excess emotion in front of Summer.
His emotion management skills always left something to be desired, spilling out whatever comedy bit or joke was on hand.
