Sweet Wife So Charming: CEO: Hold Back Your Heart-Chapter 390: Provocation
It’s funny to say, in this school, half of the people really like Moira Young, while nearly the other half are jealous to the point of having red eyes.
Watching Moira Young score almost full marks in every subject of the weekly exams made them dislike her even more. Some even couldn’t help but badmouth her online, but they were all silenced by her fans, one by one, and from then on, they avoided Moira Young, afraid of being discovered as anti-fans by her followers.
"Hey, boss, are you sure Moira Young finishes class at this time?"
Dion Shaw turned around and slapped the little minion behind him: "Do you think my information could be wrong? Go, keep an eye over there, don’t let anyone slip away."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." The little minion, rubbing his head, miserably ran to the other side.
After a while, Moira Young, holding her books, with a backpack on her shoulders, walked towards the school gate.
"Boss, boss, she’s coming, she’s coming." Another minion spotted Moira Young’s silhouette and quickly turned his head to inform Dion Shaw, who was checking himself in the mirror.
Putting the mirror aside with a swoosh and feeling somewhat nervous: "Look at me, how do I look, handsome?"
"Handsome, handsome, handsome, boss, go quickly, or you’ll miss the chance again today."
Dion Shaw glared fiercely at that little minion, grabbing a bouquet of roses, and walked out.
Moira Young was lost in thought about what the professor had said today, and without watching ahead, she almost bumped into someone, hurriedly stopping: "Sorry, sorry."
Upon looking up, she saw Dion Shaw holding a rose in front of her, a bit surprised, staring blankly at the boy in front of her.
"Moira Young, I like you, be my girlfriend."
Before Moira Young could respond, the classmates, who had just finished class, gathered around, watching the notorious school bully and famous figure, teasing boldly.
Moira Young felt a bit embarrassed, giving a light smile: "Sorry, senior, I don’t want to date right now, thank you."
Not minding being given the good person card, Dion Shaw looked infatuated at Moira Young: "It’s okay, I can wait for you, anytime is fine, I’m graduating soon anyway. Just keep these flowers for now, tomorrow I’ll bring you breakfast."
People around started hollering.
"Really, no need, senior, I just want to focus on my studies." Moira Young pushed away the flowers Dion Shaw handed over.
"Take them, take them, or do you think there are not enough flowers? Don’t worry, I’ll have 99 of them bought tonight."
"Boss, awe-inspiring."
Hearing the voice of his little minion, Dion Shaw gave a sideways glance of approval.
Moira Young, feeling helpless, seeing Dion Shaw was clinging to her, turned her eyes: "Thank you for your affection, senior, I’ll accept these flowers, but nothing more is needed."
Taking the words in stride, she sidestepped a few steps forward, seeing Dion Shaw didn’t block her, she quickly ran ahead, handing the flowers to a nearby girl: "These are for you."
Before she finished speaking, she vanished in a flash.
People around looked at each other, just finding it amusing.
Dion Shaw, with a blackened face: "I just don’t believe it."
In the following days, no matter where Moira Young went, she would run into Dion Shaw, who was so bothered he could only curl up in the library, feeling too embarrassed to disturb her.
"Hey, are you Moira Young?" A girl gently tapped Moira Young’s shoulder. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
Turning around: "Yes, what’s up?"
"Someone asked me to give this to you, saying you must go, don’t worry, it’s not Dion Shaw."
Moira Young was speechless, it seemed everyone in school knew about Dion Shaw crazily pursuing her.
Glancing at the piece of paper in her hand, she thanked the girl and put it aside.
Half an hour later, she still took it out and followed the address on it.
She wanted to see who exactly was inviting her.
"Sis, Moira Young has arrived."
The girl called ’sis’ nodded, looking up just as Moira Young pushed open the basketball room door and walked in.
"Wow, you really are someone with a big attitude, took you over half an hour to come here."
Moira Young looked at the four or five female classmates in front of her with cold expressions, knowing she was caught, her face turning cold: "What do you want with me?"
"Of course, I just want to know, what tricks does Moira Young have to make Dion Shaw revolve around you like a lapdog."
Finishing the sentence, that woman sneered as she walked a few steps closer to Moira Young.
Moira Young looked at them coldly: "I also want to know when exactly I raised a dog."
"Damn, sis, this person is calling Mr. Shaw a dog."
The woman quickly turned her head and glared at her little sidekick: "Shut up."
Thinking she herself first described Dion Shaw in such a way, she couldn’t help but be a little more irritated.
"Hmph, don’t think just because you’re a celebrity now I won’t dare to hit you."
Ignoring this statement, Moira Young looked at that woman with expressionless face: "If there’s nothing else, I’ll be going."
"Hold it right there, did I say you could leave." That woman commanded, signaling her little sidekick with her eyes.
A little minion came straight up, grabbed Moira Young’s hand, and tightened the basketball room door.
Tapping a baseball bat in her hand, the woman, with a sinister look, said: "Today, you won’t be going anywhere."
"You’re only picking on me because of Dion Shaw?" Moira Young forcefully pulled her hand free from the little minion and questioned the woman opposite her in a deep voice.
"What else do you think."
"I don’t like him."
"But he likes you." The woman shouted loudly.
Moira Young was speechless, wondering what bad luck she’s stumbled upon, just returning to the country and encountering a pair of crazies, closing her eyes: "I’ll say it again, I don’t like him, nor will I let him harass me further, don’t drag me into your issues."
The woman, full of anger, looked at Moira Young, too lazy to argue more, today she just wanted to teach this girl who stole her man a lesson.
"Get her."
Moira Young quickly ran to the side, grabbed a basketball and tossed it over: "If you dare touch me, you’ll face a lawsuit for sure and won’t even be able to attend school."
Seeing the little minions around afraid to move, the woman said sternly: "Don’t listen to her, get her."
With a push, the little minions all began to move again.
Before they could grab Moira Young, the door to the basketball room was slammed open.
"Moira." Evan Howard rushed in, quickly pushing away the little minions surrounding Moira Young.
"To think you have a little pretty boy, and that pig Dion Shaw is still stupidly rushing forward."
Evan Howard ignored the nonsense from the woman behind, helping Moira Young up, checking her over: "Are you okay, not hurt anywhere?"
Moira Young shook her head: "No, senior, why are you here."
"I went to the library to find you, saw the note on your table, got kind of suspicious and decided to check it out, isn’t Dion Shaw’s matter quite a big deal recently." Evan Howard explained with concern.
The woman watched Evan Howard playing hero and damsel in distress with amusement, curling her lips: "Wow, are you two done talking, my turn now, right?"
"What do you intend to do." Evan Howard turned, placing Moira Young behind him protectively.
The woman tapped her baseball bat: "What do I intend, of course, to beat you both up."
