Talios-Chapter 65: Creaks
Across a dark dune of desert on a land vast as the many waters of a great sea, occupying a lush land.
The bursting and cheering from the god Arena was enormous filling the air. The god Arena as called, was a sized arena believed to even contain the searing heat of KalGra the Sun Deity. Today it’s seats were filled to the brim, the arena packed with spectators numbering in their Hundred of Thousands. They had never been this much gathering at the arena not even from the founding days of Kirata.
And today also there were somethings that had taken a change even in this arena—the seating arrangement of the top porch. A place with a single seat for Ckain Kaldros of Kirata, now had a terrifying line up. In a curved manner Ten magnificent seats were placed with two seats left in the middle. And with the arrangement came the personnels seated on each. On the Ten seats were the Ten Elders of the Council of Kal, and on the Middle seat, sat The Great Mother Kal. For the multitude of spectators today, for each person, such a sight was astonishing, for some it was like beholding the annex of time unfolding before them, and for a different others it was a rare sight both to see the Great Mother in person even at a distance and to behold the entire Council of Kal, and even more so to witness the Brawl of Fire. When often do one get to witness a Brawl of Fire? A Fight set to determine Fate, both of a Person or even a tribe, and now a whole Nation.
Though the vacant seat in the middle was one to be occupied by Ckain the Kaldros of Kirata, no one had expected it to be filled, not the Kiratians nor the Sons Of Fires, after all who was to participate in this Brawl of Fire if he took said seat?
The reason for this Historic Gathering and Enormous cluster of People, was one that concerned the fate of a nation and the pride of a people.
Ckain Kaldros of Kirata had challenged a Loin of the Council to the Brawl of Fire.
Thus the massive gathering, and with the blow of horn, it was time.
The jeering from the crowd caused even the Arena to shake, little crumbles of stone to tremble on the floor.
With the Second blow, from a particular entrance, the passage way, it’s height and width stretching far more than the average found even in sacred doorways, and from it walking with the calm yet steady steps of one who’s weight the earth felt, not from a weight of size but that of authority, vigor and power, his hair long and cascading down glittered like the mud found on the shores of the cleanest of streams, his height, imposing enough to command presence, yet not far fetched to cause a fright, his chest bare as they were chiseled, not flooded with unnecessary muscles, yet glistening under the light, his leathered foreskin skirt cascaded the floor, thier linings one carefully woven, he had a smile on his face, his hands in a wave, the golden plated claw pins on his fingers dangled under the sunlight, glistening for all to see. At the sight of him, another jeering from the crowd shook the place, but this time, not as quaking as the first, as this jeer seemed to come a different faction within the crowd, they all bare chested, their women having artistic foreskin for breast plates.
Like gold before sunlight, the radiating smile from the individual now at the center of the arena caused even the maidens to cheer the more, yet this obvious away with the maidens did not upset or incure the glares or hostility of the males, thier cheers for him even louder, thier eyes glinting with admiration, not from his glistering figure, but his Charisma and strength, besides who didn’t know who he was. Kuracha First Of The Loins of Kal, Strongest Son of Fire.
At the getting to the center of the arena the jeering began to cascade in anticipation of the second entrance, his challenger, Ckain Kaldros of Kirata. But the next scene caused an eruptic expressions from the crowd, the both sides alike, a look of shock and confusion.
After the entrance of Kuracha, another entrance caught the attention of everyone, the entrance of Ckain, but what caused the confusion wasn’t his appearance, but where he appeared. Clouded in leathered foreskin skirt, with a draped robe, white in color, worn it’s slits open, showing his bare chest, with just his back covered, as was the attire of most of the second faction within the crowd, as was expected. Walking, his hands endored with precious jewelries, as was his ankles, his steps steady through the paved path that lead to the top Porch. And getting to the top Porch admist the staring confused gazes thrown at him, even more so from those already seated at the Porch, he walked to the vacant seat and sat, his Rudy eyes glittering, his ear piercing dangling in a mild sways, his lips like dripped grapes, arched into a smile, his teeth glinting as they were white, even though observed from a distance, the gentle sways in his every moved caused anyone to see through their nose the scented air around him, causing even the slight sways of his robe.
His draged silence that settled even as he sat only caused the still confused crowd to fall into subtle murmurs that waved through the entire gathering like an intentional wave from a disturbed ocean. Still only his smile could be seen, his eyes fixated on the center of the arena, beyond the calm yet piercing gaze of Kuracha who’s unsertleness about the happenings did not disrupt his calm eyes. On where Ckain’s gaze settled —the opposite entrance of the arena— a figure had began to emerge and with it, the sounding of the horn.
All eyes darted towards this mystified figure. Who was it to be? Was there somehow another Ckain? The intrigued curiosity from the piqued crowed caused some to almost fall of their seats.
Walking into the light of the Arena. His grey eyes, deep as they were steady, if calm were to be eyes, his would be it. He had the doting face of a mild kitten, his body chiseled, with the right sets where they should be, not budged, yet alluring. His steps felt like the calm after a storm. His emergence caused the long awaited crowd to fall into even deeper confusion. The eyes of the elders shot wide open in shock as they directed their gaze to a certain elder—the 4th Elder—, his face bearing great indifference, not moved by the emergence nor flinched at the darted glances shot at him. And before long thier gazes fell back on The very individual who should have an explaining to do—Ckain. Not stretching his smile, he only subtly directed their gazes back to the center of the arena where the figure now stood, his eyes locked on the very first to have entered the arena—Kuracha, who’s face now bore hostility towards the fellow, though feint, it still lingered.
Raising his head to met the sheer crowd and then his focus settling on the Top Porch, he spread his arms, his voice, thundering through the arena, not from a shout, but depth.
"I Kunku 3rd of The 4th Loins, would be taking the place of The Kaldros, in this Brawl of Fire."
And with the closing of his came an uproar from the crowd, this uproar was even more daring than the jeers, causing even greater quake, and it was one born out sher differing opinions, causing the two factions to even divide more so, each with some concerning thoughts.
For those from the faction of slit robes, they only bore confusion written all over their face. For them, they had no idea who this emerged figure was, not that they knew the other, but at least they could tell he was from the other side, and could easily be branded as who to cheer against and hope he loses.
As for this one, it was clear he was not one from their side of things, and obviously one of the others, one could tell from his choice of dressing and his skin—fairer than they could be grouped with— yet he claimed to fight on their behalf, worst off, how could they tell he was worth much, from the faces of the other faction, it was easy to tell, they also had little recognition for him, and now after his introduction, a clear trace of disdain could be clearly seen associated with him.
The other faction on the other hand, had some concerning concerns, firstly was the outright disdain for the side he had seemed to be standing with, and the fact that he dared stood in front of their champion.
