Talisman Reincarnation - All My Clones Are Dao Ancestors-Chapter 39: Surprise Attack
Right at this moment, Fu Xian got a message from his innate aspect:
If he was willing to spent 10% origin, he could destroy the dao heart and rebuilt it.
After a moment of thought, he shook his head.
[No, although this development is a bit weird, it’s still according to my vision. He, right now, still sees human life and mortals with an indifferent vision. Rather than caring about their death, he cares more about the fact that they died ’unjustly’.
As for what is unjust and just, this is the core of the dao heart and the part that hasn’t been determined just yet.
I can’t make Gu cultivators evil, because he himself is one.
Demon cultivators can’t become evil either, because they have an important function in the world.
While ’righteous’ cultivators are stable and contributing to the world of cultivation, they also use a lot of resources and milk the world. Those talented cultivators of course give back, but those useless cultivators who only take without giving are something else.
I’ve only learned this knowledge in the immortal city, else I wouldn’t even know why so many demon raids went smoothly, and why so many demon factions were destroyed everyday. This complex relation has already reached an equilibrium, a state of supreme balance.
But... the larger factions are a different matter, what if I targeted smaller factions?
’Gu’ are inherently split into two factions: the southern barbarians that mainly specialise in poisonous Gu, and the demon cultivators across the world specialising in demon Gu!]
His thoughts seemed to be transmitted to Teigu, who unconsciously thought of the moving belly of the man he had killed previously.
He also thought of the rumours of some insects eating human corpses and of various other matters.
Suddenly, he felt like these insects in nature were the true insects, those that should be appreciated and promoted. As for these insects that only focused on humans? He was disgusted by their thought, as if they were the most evil creatures on earth.
And even more so were those people that raised these creatures!
He didn’t realise that the vague distinction he made was exactly the two factions of demon Gu and poisonous Gu!
In fact, because the southern barbarians have their own culture, they are seen as a group similar to rogue cultivators, like a large rogue cultivator faction!
They weren’t included in the righteous cultivator faction, which meant that the righteous cultivators treated poisonous Gu and demon Gu the same.
Over the years, to outsiders, there was no distinction, but those inside knew the severity of this very well.
The barbarians couldn’t interact with the righteous cultivators anymore, the kills of demon Gu cultivators falling on their name, and the reputation being equally bad.
This has caused the barbarians, a society of cultivators needing to trade just like any other faction, to fall behind the demon Gu cultivators.
Although they were still the majority in the southern mountains, across the world, demon Gu cultivators were more numerous!
So numerous that the barbarians had lost all their territories outside the southern mountains...
Thoughts swirled and time passed.
Teigu had finished his mission and was standing in front of the backdoor leading to the village chief’s hall.
Behind him were two bags containing various boxes small and large.
Soon, the old man with wrinkled skin appeared once more in front of him.
It seemed like appeared out of nowhere, startling Teigu, who was resolved in his approach to not attack openly but wait for the right moment!
He bowed and said "V-Village chief, these, these are the two f-fa-fallen hunters!" he stuttered, his eyes a bit teary out of fear.
Somehow, it came extremely easy to him to act, as if he was born to do so, as if he was dreaming right now while his true self was outside, overlooking everything.
The chief frowned slightly "Where are the two?"
Teigu fell to the ground, his body trembling with fear "C-Chief, they, they’re sleeping!"
A deeper frown spread across the old man’s face, but a moment later, it disappeared.
If Teigu saw his face, he would see that the old man’s eyes observed Teigu in detail, especially his frail body.
"You should eat more. Didn’t these two feed you? Hmph, I will make sure to see whether they can be as reckless. Alright, show me the bags. You did this, right?"
Teigu nodded and hurriedly stood up, moving to the bags.
He opened one and instantly moved to the other, as if he was afraid he couldn’t show enough examples to explain his progress.
"No need, I only need to see one-" the chief was talking when suddenly, Teigu kicked both bags with his legs.
A deep frown and anger spread across the chief’s face, as if he was about to scold.
Just then, suddenly, purple light flew out of the boxes in the bags-
"What-!" The village chief exclaimed, his face full of shock.
He raised his sleeves and something seemed to be crawling inside!
Just as it was about to fly out, a butterfly flew towards it, exploding in an instant!
A thin veil formed around the sleeve.
With this, several more butterflies exploded.
In an instant, the second sleeve was enclosed by a purple light too, then another veiled the whole body, before finally, four butterflies circles around the cultivators head, forming a weird formation around his head.
"You-!" he exclaimed once more, barely pointing his finger at Teigu before his whole body stiffened.
One after another, the four butterflies on his head exploded, forming a tight veil around his head.
His brain’s commands seem to be blocked and instead, he entered a different state.
Just then, seven more butterflies, who had been looking at the situation from the side, entered the cultivator’s brain one after another!
They stormed inside and instantly gathered together.
The blurry dream state formed by the sacrifice of four butterflies was transformed at this moment. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
In the centre of the seven butterflies formation, a dream was formed.
