I looked around, noticing that she had planned this all along. There was gasoline on her left, and if she dropped the lighter into it, there would be an explosion.

"Calm down, let’s find a way around this," I whispered to Sir Kaelric.

Sir Kaelric released his grip on her.

I turned to Felicia. "What is your business with Liara?"

"That’s none of your business, Aria," she replied.

"Well, it’s Ashwood’s business, so it’s mine," I replied.

Before anyone could react, she had untied Liara and Jackson and escaped through the window.

Before Felicia left, she dropped the already lit lighter, and the office was consumed in flames.

Sir Kaelric backed off towards the door immediately.

"Aria...stay back," he commanded.

We ran out of the room. Sir Kaelric picked up his phone and dialed a number.

"Another part of the building, which is my office, is on fire. It needs to be quenched soon."

My heartbeat thundered as I and the Alpha successors headed back to where Allison, the headmistress and the vice headmistress stood.

Allison tugged my arm with a confused expression. "Aria, what happened in there? Why is fire coming out of Sir Kaelric’s office?"

"We have to go after them," I said to her, looking at the Alpha successor at the same time.

"Who?" Professor Garrich asked.

I ignored him, taking Allison by the hand, "I’ll tell you the full story later, but for now, Liara and Jackson can’t leave the academy’s grounds."

Andria’s POV

We hurried off, the Alpha successors moving behind us like shields.

Liara couldn’t have escaped if we were faster, so we have to get to them.

"Look at them," Allison said, pointing towards three figures heading to the academy’s gate. "There are three; it seems like they have a third-party, external accomplice."

"Yes, but that’s a long story. We have to focus on catching them," I answered.

Aven moved faster, and soon he was ahead of us.

We overtook them just before they could get to the academy’s gate.

"You think you can walk into our school, play the vengeance anti-hero, and walk out scot free? Well, that can’t be possible," I said.

Felicia threw her fist in the air in a bid to land a direct blow on my face, but I reflexively dodged the attack.

I’ll give it to her; she was more skilled and had an even better stance than her sister, Tracy.

"Not bad," she said as she backed up Liara and Jackson, each of them taking up a fighting stance.

"But we aren’t just going to give up, I wouldn’t let you ruin another she-wolf just because she isn’t your friend," she added.

"I wonder who feeds your naive mind all these lies," I muttered out loud. "Your sister and these two you are fighting so hard to protect and avenge deserve the punishment that they are receiving."

"Of course, I knew you would say that. Even Liara, who used to be your friend, suddenly became your enemy after she found her mate. Could it be that you just want your friends to mate less?" She said, flashing me an evil smirk.

I’ve heard such accusations before, so it wasn’t new to me.

"Your sister’s friends must have been feeding you enough lies. I hope they also told you how your sister went to the den of coins and made a bad deal with the vampires, the kingdom’s ene..."

"That’s a lie, Aria, you framed her just because you wanted to be the school’s student council president so badly," she said, cutting me off.

"Well, it’s a pity you are being brainwashed. But for now, you won’t be leaving this academy," Allison spoke up all of a sudden beside me.

Aven advanced, and so did the other two.

And soon a huge fight erupted, but of course, they were no match for us. Although Tracy’s sister was very strong, she landed some brutal blows on me, but I could subdue her, snapping her hands to the back.

Allison fought with Liara and was almost subdued until Damon stepped in.

We managed to hold them in place, dragging them back to where the headmistress, the vice headmaster and Sir Kaelric stood.

Seconds later, the fire service arrived.

"I wonder what took them so long," Sir Kaelric muttered under his breath.

"Professor Garrich," I said, looking directly at his eyes, "does this face look familiar?" I said, pushing her a bit forward, still holding her hands in place.

Realization hit his face as he studied her carefully. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

"What again were you saying about the kissing booth and the cafeteria’s incident?" Allison asked, folding her hands and glaring at Professor Garrich.

He looked at Felicia, then at me, then at Allison, and then at the headmistress. "I guess this is more than we expected," he muttered.

"She is Felicia, Tracy’s sister. She has a vendetta against us, and she wouldn’t stop at any length. Since her sister was expelled from this school, this school has to go down. And somehow, we think someone let her in or is feeding her lies, fueling those thoughts. Could that be you, Professor Garrich?" Aven asked, his eyes turning golden, ready to snap Professor Garrich in two.

He was trembling at this moment.

"Well, hold on," Sir Kaelric said, dialing some numbers on his phone.

"Liara, you have failed to act like a princess; therefore, Jackson would be taken away from the academy’s grounds for now, and put in the correctional facilities in the palace, after all, he is a rogue," Sir Kaelric said, before the other line picked up.

"Hello, Sir, what can we do for you? Has Liara been found?"

"Yes, she has, but there’s a problem. I need some men to come pick up a defaulting student, son of the notorious rogue. He is messing Liara up."

"Yes, Sir, I’ll relate it to the king, and your request will be granted."

"Make it quick," Sir Kaelric said, before hanging up.

A few minutes later, some cars arrived at the school compound.

The male wolves emerged from the car almost in unison, dressed in black suits and wearing devices in their ears.

They matched towards Sir Kaelric.

"Don’t take Jackson away from me. I would never forgive you," Liara screamed.

But Sir Kaelric ignored her, signaling for them to pick Jackson. They pulled him, and Liara struggled in Damon’s grasp.

"You can’t...you can’t, I would do something worse. Aria," she said, turning towards me. "When did we get to this?"
