Emerson’s Mansion....

"Sir, we got the information that Mrs. Emerson was in the port on the east side. She was kidnapped by Jacob and Kristino, Jacob’s jailmate," Mark said.

"Let’s leave," Cedric said standing up from his seat. Picking up his coat, he walked still wearing the coat.

Without a word Mason, Oliver, Valene, Edward, Martin, Regan, Aiden, and Katherine followed them.

Aria who followed Martin and Aiden to Emerson’s mansion started pacing anxiously as she prayed for everyone’s safety.

Myna, Nathaira, and Tiffany waited for their men along with Aria in Emerson’s mansion. They wished to join them but they knew if they go with them, they will be only a burden to them.

"We shall cook for them before they return. And Eleanor has all kinds of cravings. Food lightens her mood. We shall make the things she likes," Nathaira said as she tried to divert the mood of these anxious women.

"Indeed," Aria said getting up from her seat.

"Mom, she asked for sweet things last night," Nathaira said.

"She likes things with strawberry and chocolate most. Who is gonna help me with making desserts?" Aria asked.

"I am," Nathaira said.

"Tiffany and Myna take care of meals and starters," Aria ordered and left to the kitchen.

Myna and Tiffany nodded and followed them to the kitchen.

One and a half hours late...

Eastside Port....

"Cedric, there is no one here," Valene said as he inspected the ship.

"Everyone on this ship was killed and the traces are cleared," Oliver said appearing from behind.

"How do you know?" Edward asked.

"I am in the underworld for years. I know these things well. And this is done by my dad," Oliver replied.

"If my guess was right, Jacob must have been dead by now," Oliver added.

"Are you sure?" Cedric asked.

"I am. I am with him for years," Oliver said.

"Mark!" Cedric called his PA.

"Sir," Mark responded.

"Find where Anthony Thorne Hallard is living," Cedric said.

"I will do that," Oliver interjected.

If Oliver was the one who was doing it, then it would be easy for them to care.

Mother’s and children’s hospital VVIP ward....

"How is she?" Anthony asked the doctor.

"She is fine. But she inhaled chloroform. That made her unconscious. Luckily she didn’t inhale in large amounts. If she did it would have caused complications to the child," The doctor replied.

"When will she wake up?" Anthony asked with a bit of impatience.

"The drug effects will be gone in an hour. And her body is exhausted, Probably in two to three hours. Then you can take her home," the doctor said.

Anthony nodded his head at him.

"I will send the prescription to the nurse in some time," the doctor said and walked away.

Anthony sat outside the patient’s room. Placing his hand on his chest, he realized his heart was beating loudly. As seconds passed it calmed down gradually.

Taking out his phone, he called Aiden.

He picked the call in three rings.

"Hello," Aiden responded.

"Hello," Anthony responded.

"Anthony?" Aiden said with a bit of surprise.

"Eleanor is in Mother’s and children’s hospital 3301 room. Come here with your son and no more," Anthony said.

Before Aiden could respond he hung the call.

Anthony was a jerk but with the presence of Eleanor’s birth mother, he changed a lot. And when he got to know the existence of Eleanor, he was the happiest man.

He dropped everything and changed himself better so that he could be a better father to her. He gave up his position, power, and everything just for her. But he felt Cedric wasn’t fit for her. That was the reason, he sent Nathaira to break them up. But it didn’t work. He thought he could give a chance to them but he couldn’t. Every time Cedric proved that he couldn’t protect his daughter well.

Martin protected her well. He would rather let her live with Zora who stole his daughter for twenty-four years rather than live with that useless Cedric.

Even now he called Aiden because he wanted to hand over Eleanor to them. He will make Eleanor like him and love him genuinely. When she accepts him completely then he will keep her with her. Till then only Zora deserves to be with her and protect her.

It’s fine if she wasn’t with him. And he needs her to cure his wife. His wife was important to her too.

He has to make amends with Zora now along with handing his daughter with her.

In the Emerson’s Mansion....

"Where is Nora?" Aria asked only to meet with the ashen faces of men who entered the mansion now.

"Anthony took her away even before we reached," Aiden said bitterly.

"At least she is safe. Now... get her home," Aria said.

All men whipped their heads towards Aria in shock.

"What? Anthony loves Eleanor as much as Aiden does or more than him. No matter what, he would never hurt her. I saw his love for her in his eyes. There was pain and many other emotions in him. But he concealed them. If my guess is right, he would have taken her to a hospital. Check the top ten hospitals you will find her," Aria said waving her hand in the air.

" How are you so sure?" Edward asked.

"Because I am in between the rich fathers. I know how the minds of rich fathers work. They want to give the best things to their children. And... she is his long-lost daughter. The second time he met her, she was kidnapped. Do you think he will take her to some small hospital? If you can’t find her in those hospitals, she will be in his home," Aria said.

"But we can’t be sure about that, right?" Valene said.

"I will change my name if I am wrong," Aria said.

The men were too shocked at her words.

"Aunt Aria is right. My father is as exactly as she depicted," Oliver said supporting her.
