The Absolute beast Tamer-Chapter 102: ALAN’S SECOND PLAN
Around the huge crater The seeds could not believe that they managed to snatch the kill so easily as they all looked at the instructor, who was having an inner struggle fighting a dilemma on how to approach this anomaly that was not planned at all.
In the eyes of instructor Tony, number 33 just took a shortcut, completely blocking what he wanted to teach the seeds by coming up with this unconventional way that depended on his own rare talent.
No. 80: "So… instructor, is that all? Did we succeed in the task?
Instructor Tony: "Ahem, you executed the task given to you flawlessly, but you missed the point that I was trying to explain to you."
No. 18: "And the point is?"
Instructor Tony: "What if number 33 wasn't on the mission with you? How will you proceed? What if number 33 wasn't able to use his rare talent? How can you deal with this situation that I presented you with?"
No. 17: "But you said that we can use everything in our arsenal, and that includes our talents, so number 33 did not break your rules."
Instructor Tony: "I'm not saying he broke my rules; in fact, number 33 did a spectacular job delivering results by thinking out of the box. What I'm asking is hypothetically speaking. What if you don't have number 33 or he was unable to use his spatial talent for some reason or another?"
No. 18: "But that will become semi-impossible given our strength, as luring such a target from this huge herd is already very hard, especially if we don't want to alert the whole herd. I don't think we can do it."
No. 9: "At first when you presented us with the task, I thought that we may be able to do something by doing some hit-and-run tactics, but that's impossible even with the guarantee that you gave us that no 9th stage beast will interfere. We can't simply handle over 300-something eighth stage beasts gathered so tightly together."
Even number nine, who was always at the helm of success, could not see the end of the road to such task; after all, everyone who is here is only at the 7th stage. Even if they were elite who could fight across stages, the sheer number inside the herd made it impossible for them to do anything about this task.
No. 80: "Instructor, if you can give us an example, we will be grateful, as we will be able to understand your point of view on the different fighting styles engaging a beast."
On the inside, the instructor was finally relieved as someone had actually asked the most important question, requesting a demonstration, which was the gate to delivering his purpose to these disciples.
Sadly, before he could open his mouth, Alan had another idea coming.
Alan: "So to understand your objective here, instructor, you want us to take the hypothetical scenario that I am not involved or I can't use my spatial talent."
Instructor Tony: "Aha, yes, exactly."
Alan: "I don't think the task is impossible. We can do it without relying on my talent, but we might need a little bit more time. Is that okay with you, instructor?"
Instructor Tony: "....I…. WHAT!!?"
Alan: "As I said, we can do it, but we might need a little bit more time if that is okay with you."

Tony could not believe his ears. He finally thought that his chance had come to teach only for this youngest seed to say that he could do the task without even relying on that absurd talent of his.
Even though this was not his purpose, however, he could not help but be curious how this kid can achieve that .
After all, even from his point of view as an instructor, this test was highly dangerous for someone with their level of strength.
Instructor Tony: "Ahem, you don't need to worry about time, as according to the schedule I have, I have 3 days to teach you, so go ahead and test your new theory, I guess."
Tony vanished as he chose to observe from a distance, leaving the seeds in confusion as they looked at their youngest, not having any understanding of what was going on in his head.
No. 17: "What are you up to, 33?"
No. 18: "33. We can't fight multiple rhino mammoths, you know that's right?"
No. 25: "We could have asked the instructor for a demonstration and been done with it. Why do you want to make our lives harder?"
The bluntness of 25 resulted in an awkward atmosphere between them, as frankly this was the opinion of the majority.
The unexpected support was actually given by the most silent one in the group.
No. 9: "Tell us your plan; I know you won't propose anything that doesn't work."
No. 80: "You a lot. We managed to finish the task on the first try because of him and his plan, so please give him the benefit of the doubt. Go ahead, brother."
With a simple smile on his face, as he wasn't offended because it was the normal reaction that he expected, after all having a good plan is already an achievement for such a task, but to come again and propose another was actually a little arrogant on his part. But what works will work.
Alan: "I know that you all have your doubts, and I felt the instructor wanted to perform a demonstration for all of us, but there is an opportunity to learn something new in every situation we face, so why not explore by ourselves a little bit before we receive guidance?"
No. 80: "You have the bearing of a wise man, little brother."
Alan: "My plan this time is very boring; we will go step by step, and the first action that we need to take is to observe the herd well, making sure to stay undetected."
No. 18: "Just observing, we already did that."
Alan: "When we were observing earlier, what was our intention?"
No. 17: "How to lure and eliminate one of the rhino mammoths"
Alan: "This time we will focus on the lure part. Let's go. The process may take a long time, and we don't have much to waste."
...…
Everyone in the group positioned him or herself in a position over the green hill as they observed the behavior of the rhinoceros.
The closest to Alan was No. 80, who was burning with curiosity as he wanted to find out the whole plan and the purpose of their observation.
No80: "Come on, little brother. Tell me, what are we truly doing here?
Alan: "We are watching the rhino mammoth eating."
No. 80: "Just… just that."
Alan: "Yep, just that. I asked everyone to record anything important or any observation that they will find relevant and can help us, so please do the same, senior."
No80: "But I'm dying to know the rest of the plan. Can you tell me? I promise I won't tell anyone.
Alan: "When I find out, I promise you, you will be the first to know."
No80: "What? You're bluffing earlier; please tell me you're joking.
Alan: "Shhhh, they will notice us if you keep talking; stay on task, senior."
...…..
At night everyone gathered as they made a simple fire while Alan, who had already scavenged the forest for anything that he could use to prepare a nice meal for everyone.
After all, looking at them right now, surrounding the fire while silence was the only companion inside their camp, their morale was clearly down.
Alan: "Seniors, you can relax; I will take care of making dinner."
No. 18: "I will help you."
Alan: "Thanks."
Like a seasoned chef, Alan swiftly prepared the most delicious barbecues using the meat from the beasts his seniors hunted as he added a mix of spices that he found in the wild forest.
Soon an appetizing smell woke everyone up from their thoughts.
No. 18: "smells so delicious"
No. 17: "I didn't know our junior could cook."
No. 80: "Gulp, you don't have the finest idea. You lot are in for a feast."
Number nine, who was secretly taking a look at the grill, betrayed her composed personality as she too was looking forward to this meal.
After a nice dinner, everyone agreed to share their findings.
No. 18: "I can't believe that you have been eating this food for a whole week in our last mission."
No. 17: "From now on I will be in Junior's team no matter what."
No80: "You're dreaming. The permanent spot is only mine."
No. 9: "Enough joking around; let's see what we found out after today's observation."
No. 18: "I will go first. The herd tightly centers itself, leaving almost no room for other predators to attack. The most powerful are the 300-something in the 8th stage who make a circle completely surrounding the rest of the herd."
No. 17: "What baffles me is how this massive creature is actually herbivorous. The herd moves as a single entity while eating all kinds of grass. I took pictures and even recorded a video, but sadly I did not manage to find anything relevant."
No. 25: "There's a small lake with a river feeding it, 25 clicks from the herd, which is their water source. They go there once a day either to bathe or to drink, but they stay vigilant as the stronger ones don't break the circle at all, completely protecting the rest of the herd."
