Chapter 821 The Devastated Princess

"Aunt, I heard there was some commotion yesterday…is everything fine now?" Erina asked as she looked at Aunt Kel.

"It was nothing serious. You should go and continue your training…" Aunt Kel just shook her head. She didn't want to tell Erina that the incident was related to Max. She knew they were friends, and it might make the situation complicated. After all, she had no idea whether Max was going to survive or not. Because from what she had seen, it didn't seem that he had much of a chance to live. It was indeed saddening. To think, that the nephew she was so excited to meet was going to appear in front of him like that.

Erina on the other hand, was well aware of the incident being related to Max. Hell, she was a perpetrator and a partner in crime too. But, the thing which worried her a bit was the fact that she hadn't heard from Max since yesterday.

But, there was nothing that she could do here.. 𝑓𝙧𝘦𝘦we𝘣𝙣𝘰𝘃𝗲l.com

'I should wait for another day before trying to find out about it myself..' She decided to believe in Max's ability. The guy was not normal after all.

"Where is he?" Synthia muttered to herself as she stood near the window looking out of the mansion.

Yup, this was not a cold dungeon or prison cell.

They had treated her like a guest to be honest, but the only downside was that she had been made to wear a dubious looking bracelet, and was grounded in the mansion with limited time to roam around while being kept under supervision all time.

It seemed the Crimsons didn't want to germinate unnecessary enmity with her and her House. And, Synthia for sure understood it which made the Crimson's impression in her eyes go up a bit. After all, she knew that if they were on the opposite side, the Storm's wouldn't be so good.

But, that didn't mean that she was happy here. She had been waiting for Max, but he was nowhere to be seen. She had witnessed a huge explosion and a blinding light yesterday which made her realize that Max was here.

And, for a while, she could feel Max's presence somewhere nearby, but that guy wasn't coming to get her. This was pissing her off.

"Don't tell me he got his ass handed over?" She suddenly paused and gave it a thought. "The chances are there, but evil people don't die early…he won't kick the bucket so soon.."

….

Spirit World..

Max laid on the ground with Andriel by his side as she snuggled closer to his side. They had just finished some serious business, and Max really felt his body recovering way faster in the real world.

Even though he had the same abilities as her, he was still no match for Andriel when it came to transferring life energy. The life energy which she had passed onto him effectively was at least 20 times more than what Max could do in one session.

But, Max could see that Andriel's face looked a little pale, and that worried him a bit.

"Are you fine?"

"What do you think?" Andriel asked with a smile before moving her lips towards Max's ears and whispering in them, "We can go for round two if you want.."

"Oh no you don't!!!" A scream came out from the bushes, where the forest cover started from. And, it alerted both Andriel and Max.

"How could you guys be so heartless?!!! This counts as sexual harassment!!! I won't let it go!!! And, what the f*ck were you talking about that we almost died earlier!! I need some explanations here!!" The feminine voice screamed. There was a little craziness in the voice as if the person was on the verge of going insane.

"Did you bring her here?" Max asked as he looked at Andriel not knowing how to react to the situation. He remembered tying the girl in the graveyard.

"I totally forgot about her.." Andriel replied with a calm look on her face.

"Forgot?" Max looked at her with a frown. "Wait! Don't tell me you haven't fed her as well.."

"..."

Andriel's silence really scared Max for a bit.

"How many days?"

"..."

"Are you trying to starve her to death?" Max immediately got up, and began to move towards the forest, "She is an important person for us. We need her.."

"Don't worry, she can still survive for two weeks without going insane, and I was planning to feed her tomorrow….probably.." Andriel spoke with a calm face.

Max suddenly stopped as he turned his head to look at her, "Does that mean you deliberately didn't feed her?"

It sure sounded like she did.

"Do you have some enmity against her?" Max couldn't help but ask.

"Of course, I do. How dare she try to drug you?" Andriel retorted with a little unhappy look on her face.

"That.." Max indeed remembered a little event like that. But, the situation was honestly not that clear to be honest. Besides, from what he had heard from Naze, and felt from the girl, she was actually not the type to lust for body, but for blood instead.

And, that was her plan with Max too, though it ended in a failure.

Max could only shake his head at this, and continue to walk ahead before finally going through the bush to arrive in the jungle.

And, there she was trapped in a cage made of the outgrowth of trees.

Alina Kaether, One of the Princess of the Asura Tribe, One of the Stars of the Demon Youth, and also the Unofficial Successor of the Heavenly Demon.

A girl with many titles.

But, right at this moment, she was far from her glory.

Her hairs were messy, she had lost weight, and Max could see her bones popping out from her skinny body. And, she looked extremely weak.

"Damn you, Evil!!! Let me go!!!" Alina immediately grabbed the bars of the cage and began to shake it, but she had no energy in her.

"You know the conditions for going out, don't you?" Max asked as he stooped down and looked at her.

Alina greeted her teeth on hearing that. She knew Max was asking her to betray her own while promising her better future for the innocent ones on her side. But, how could she believe him?

If he didn't fulfil his words, she would be the reason for the extinction of her race.

"Was the matter about you and the Leyak Tribe being in an alliance true?" Alina asked as she looked at Max. She still remembered that Naze had told her about it before she was captured by Max.

"I need proof.." Alina looked at Max with a serious look in her eyes. "Only then will I agree to cooperate.."

"She isn't lying.." Andriel's words entered Max's ear. She had a good ability to judge people, and her powers were especially good at that. She could sense people's emotions after all.

Max contemplated a bit, but then smiled, "Sure then.."

Naze had already told the girl about it. There was nothing he could do about it. So, if they could use that to their advantage, then so be it.
