The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress-Chapter 773 - 812: Life-and-Death Sparring (Part 2)
Adrian Desmond’s physique is excellent, the kind that isn’t developed in a modern gym. His physique is honed through fighting and battles.
"******, get your ass over here!" Seeing Barnes Smythe still standing there without moving, Adrian directly cursed.
She’s feeding Xavier Young?
She’s even sewing buttons for Xavier Young. She has never sewn buttons for me!
Adrian was filled with resentment.
"Sixth Master, don’t blame me for being impolite then!"
Adrian is their idol, a legend, revered like a god, so Barnes Smythe went through extensive evaluations to work by Adrian’s side.
However, Adrian disappointed him.
For the sake of a woman, making himself so pathetic, Barnes inwardly looked down on Adrian.
Just right, with him serving himself up for a beating, if Barnes doesn’t give Adrian a good thrashing, wouldn’t it be a disservice to Adrian?!
"Who told you to be polite!"
"Sixth Master, go for it, knock that kid down!"
"Mila, don’t be afraid, in the fighting arena, fists speak the loudest!"
The men’s bloodthirsty instincts were aroused, and about fifty people automatically formed a circle, watching the two men fight, even splitting into two factions to cheer for Adrian and Barnes.
Among these people, most were newcomers. They had only heard of Adrian’s reputation but hadn’t truly witnessed his prowess. Adrian’s recent performances were too weak, and many harbored doubts about him.
"Sixth Master! Calm down, the doctor said to avoid intense exercise!"
Brandon Potter advised from the side, her voice so small among the testosterone-driven crowd.
Brandon looked at Brett Jacobs and said, "Brett, why are you still standing around, go stop Sixth Master."
"I can’t stop any of Sixth Master’s decisions!"
"Are you hard-headed?"
Brett looked at Brandon, remembering how Walter Klein got kicked out by the Sixth Master for acting on his own, so he kindly reminded her, "Sixth Master doesn’t like others making decisions for him, also, he likes obedient people. You should know why Walter was kicked out and why you came to Sixth Master."
She certainly knew, "But... I’m doing it for Sixth Master’s own good, too!"
"Those few punks need to be dealt with. Let Sixth Master teach them a lesson, and they’ll straighten up." Brett eyed those fresh faces, aware that Adrian still hadn’t won everyone’s respect.
Those from the base only admire the strong!
Adrian needs to prove his strength to assert his leadership status.
It’s just like in the animal kingdom, males fighting for leadership.
"Sixth Master, forgive me!" Barnes said with a smile in his eyes, seemingly envisioning the scene after he knocks Adrian down.
"You talk too much!"
Close quarter combat is fighting at close range, using the body as a weapon. Any part of the body can become a weapon for attack.
Barnes assumed a fighting stance called a Flickrstance.
This stance is generally used by fighters who excel in speed, have long reach, and are agile.
This stance offers a good field of vision. The front hand, placed at waist height, is on the edge of the opponent’s focused vision, allowing for surprise attacks. Consequently, this stance has more exposure, and the fighter must have immense confidence in their speed and reflexes.
Adrian couldn’t help but laugh. Where does this Barnes get his confidence?
"Courting death!"
"Sixth Master, you’re old!"
"Is that so?"
"Sixth Master, I’ll let you have five moves so that no one says I bullied you."
"No need!"
Adrian’s close quarter combat is honed through life and death battles, accumulated through practical experience, without any flashy moves, just quick, accurate attacks aimed at vital points to defeat the opponent.
Their fists and feet collided, dazzling the audience.
Adrian’s nickname is "the human weapon," and everyone witnessed his strength. To Adrian, Barnes’ attacks seemed unfelt, as he locked his dark eyes on Barnes like a beast gripping its prey, refusing to let go without killing.
Fist after fist, kick after kick, every move was ruthless.
"Ouch..." Adrian launched a feint east but attacked west, landing heavily on Barnes’ face.
Face attacks cause a three-second dizziness. By then, Barnes had already lost. Adrian, if he doesn’t strike, he won’t; when he does, he never holds back.
Even if the person is his subordinate.
A self-satisfied but inadequate subordinate, Adrian doesn’t need.
As thunder rumbled, it suddenly rained heavily, yet even this downpour couldn’t extinguish the fury of the two men fighting intensely.
Adrian had previously spared Barnes, not taking him down with one strike, but the fire in his heart was not yet quenched; he needed to continue the fight.
The rain was heavy and urgent, pouring down so quickly that they were all soon drenched like drowned rats.
Everyone present was soaked. Initially, they were cheering and shouting for the two, but now no one spoke a word.
This wasn’t an ordinary spar, this was a fight between life and death.
"Brett, if this goes on, Sixth Master will kill Barnes!"
"He dared to challenge Sixth Master, he must bear the consequences," Brett coldly watched the two fighting men, knowing the outcome was already decided.
Sixth Master won. The reason Sixth Master didn’t kill Barnes with one blow was that he was using Barnes as a human sandbag to vent his emotions.
Sabrina Conner didn’t expect the situation would become so severe. She looked to Marion and asked, "Marion, what now? If this continues, Mila will die."
"..."
"Marion, are you really not going to care about Mila?"
"He was the one wanting to spar with Sixth Master!"
"But it wasn’t said that the loser must die!"
