Chapter 775: Chapter 813: Duel and Intimidation (Part 2)

"He was the one who challenged me to a duel, the loser must die!" Adrian Desmond said mercilessly.

"All of you, come at me together!" Adrian didn’t regard these so-called experts from the base at all.

Barnes Smythe was ranked first in close quarter combat at the base, yet in front of him, he was so easily defeated. It seemed he had been too lenient with them.

To train the best "weapon," the method from Death Island was the most successful. He just didn’t want the people from the base to turn into monsters.

"Sixth Master, we are here to save Madam. If you kill everyone, who will accompany you to save her? Sixth Master, are you sure you can save her alone?"

Hearing the name Sienna Johnson, Adrian calmed down. He looked at the fifty or so people in front of him, and their eyes were filled with awe towards him. Adrian’s purpose was achieved.

The reason he dealt with Barnes so harshly was to intimidate them.

He had to show them his strength to make them submit to his command.

"15,000 push-ups! Whoever completes them can go rest!" In the end, Adrian didn’t go all out.

"Yes, Sixth Master!" The fifty or so people were completely subdued.

Sabrina Conner tried to help Barnes on the ground, whose nose and mouth were still bleeding, but Adrian kicked him.

"He must die!"

Dare to speak ill of his woman and provoke him? Isn’t that just asking to die sooner? Since he thinks he’s lived too long, Adrian would help him end it early.

"Sixth Master, please spare him!"

"Brett Jacobs, handle him!"

"Yes!"

Sabrina clenched her teeth and said, "Sixth Master, I’ll challenge you to a gun-building contest. If I win, will you spare Barnes?"

"Alright! But what if you lose?"

"I’ll sell myself to you for a lifetime!"

They came from the base and just need to work for Adrian for ten years to regain their freedom, but Sabrina was willing to sell herself to him for a lifetime.

"Is it worth it? For such a useless person."

"Barnes has always been excellent; it’s just that Sixth Master is too strong. We apologize for offending you earlier, Sixth Master." Sabrina apologized sincerely.

The usually silent Marion stepped forward and respectfully said to Adrian, "Sixth Master, I’ll challenge you to a gun-building contest, can I?"

"Marion, what do you know about gun-building?"

Marion took two AC556 rifles and said to the onlookers, "Someone bring a table over."

"I’ll go!"

Soon, a folding table was brought over and placed in front of the two.

Marion disassembled the two guns in front of Adrian, took a deep breath, and said, "Sixth Master, call 1, 2, 3 and start."

Among these people, Adrian appreciated Marion the most. He was strong but unlike Barnes, he wasn’t arrogant. As Sienna Johnson would put it: A dog that bites doesn’t bark.

Barnes was one that barked,

Marion was one that didn’t bark.

"Okay!" Adrian accepted the challenge.

Adrian placed his hands on the disassembled gun parts, gently stroking them as if caressing a lover.

Gun assembly is a required course on Death Island; if you can’t master it, your life is at risk.

Adrian remembered that after every gun-building exercise, someone had to die. Luckily, it was always someone else.

"1, 2, 3... start!" Adrian’s steady voice rang out.

As soon as the word "start" fell, the two quickly began assembling the parts. Adrian responded calmly, while Marion, despite trying to stay steady, gave away his nervousness with trembling hands.

The rain continued to pour down, drenching everyone, yet their eyes were fixed on the two competitors through the downpour.

In their eyes, Adrian’s movements were calm and calculated, fast yet giving a sense of control. Marion’s speed wasn’t bad, but he gave a sense of panic.

In terms of presence, Marion was already defeated.

Suddenly, a phone ringtone from the tent blared, "Daddy, daddy, there’s a call..." it was his daughter’s voice. Adrian hesitated for a second, during which Marion finished assembling his gun.

Marion pointed the gun at Adrian, "Sixth Master, you lost."

Adrian’s glance lingered on Marion’s gun for a second. Marion’s hand shook slightly. Adrian just said, "Can that gun even kill?"

"Daddy, daddy, there’s a call..." Curly’s voice continued, and Adrian tossed aside the gun he was about to finish building, striding into the tent.

Sabrina walked over, patting Marion’s shoulder, "Marion, I really underestimated you; I didn’t think you were this skilled."

Marion stood there in silence. Although others didn’t understand the last sentence, he did.

Sixth Master knew he cheated.

Though his speed was fast, his gun couldn’t kill.

"Barnes, Barnes, are you still alive?" Sabrina called to the motionless Barnes on the ground, "Barnes, are you just scaring me..."

"Quick, carry him into the tent!" Brandon Potter said.

Sabrina picked up Barnes, stepping on the muddy water, entering the tent he shared with Barnes. Brandon called the doctor over to treat Barnes.

Dr. Blake saw Barnes severely injured, so bad that words failed to describe the situation.

A bunch of lunatics!

"Dr. Blake, he won’t die, right?" Brandon asked.

"Take him to the hospital!" Dr. Blake said after checking Barnes.

"In our situation now, how do we go to the hospital? Dr. Blake, look carefully. These are just surface flesh wounds. We have plenty of medicine for treating external wounds."

"They may look like superficial wounds, but who knows if there’s internal bleeding? He’s lost so much blood, it could be from a ruptured organ. To be safe, you should still take him to the hospital."
