The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day-Chapter 652: He’s Not Happy
Willow Grant was out for dinner, unexpectedly running into Damian Knight as soon as she left the campus.
Damian Knight, dressed in work clothes, lacked the usual gravitas and meticulousness of wearing a suit. Instead, he exuded a more unrestrained charm, making it impossible for others to look away.
Willow’s feet felt like they were nailed to the ground, unable to move forward.
Her gaze grew increasingly heated, but when she recalled Damian’s attitude toward her, it gradually cooled.
"Willow? Let’s go," two girls turned their heads, puzzled, to call Willow.
Willow snapped back to reality, forcing a smile as she followed the two girls out.
The two girls also spotted Damian at this point, and their hearts couldn’t help but grow tense.
The tall girl couldn’t resist suggesting, "Why don’t we use the back door instead?"
The other girl laughed and said, "What’s there to be afraid of? It’s been an entire afternoon and nothing happened. Young Master Knight is definitely just trying to scare us. Let’s go, don’t be afraid!"
The girl pulled Willow and the tall girl to walk right past Damian.
The tall girl and Willow dared not even breathe, fearing that Damian would remember what happened at noon and turn back to settle scores with them.
Luckily, as the three of them walked away, Damian didn’t glance at them even once.
"What did I tell you?" The shorter girl said with a smile, "Young Master Knight wouldn’t bother to settle scores over such a small matter. No need to worry anymore in the future."
The tall girl finally breathed a sigh of relief, completely at ease, a smile appearing on her face as she said, "Shall we go for hotpot? It’s on me!" 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
"Sure!" The other girl agreed happily.
Willow, however, couldn’t bring herself to smile.
The fact that Damian didn’t even look at her wasn’t necessarily a good thing for her, because it meant that she truly held no place in his heart.
Otherwise, if he cared even a little, he would have been able to recognize her from the crowd.
Feeling both disappointed and irritable, she silently followed the two girls, walking farther and farther away.
At the school gate.
Summer Monroe saw Damian Knight leaning against his car from afar.
Holly Holloway naturally noticed too; Damian was like the sun, impossible to ignore.
Not wanting to be a third wheel, she proactively said goodbye to Summer, "See you tomorrow, Summer."
Summer rubbed Holly’s head, reminding her, "If you have any issues living alone, just let me know. I can move back in."
"Mm-hmm." Holly nodded vigorously, her demeanor truly adorable.
Summer loved obedient girls, and couldn’t resist rubbing Holly’s head again.
Holly blushed from the motion, quickly waved, and ran off.
Summer couldn’t help but curl her lips into a smile and then stepped toward Damian.
Damian’s gaze was deep as he looked at Summer, as if in a crowd of people, he could only see her.
But in reality, he had already noticed the interaction between the two girls, feeling a slight twinge of annoyance.
—Summer never ruffled his hair that way.
Was it because he didn’t have enough hair, or was he not as charming as that little girl?
As Summer approached, she could feel the low pressure coming from Damian Knight, as if the air around him was colder than elsewhere.
She puzzledly met Damian’s gaze, and saw his black eyes slightly narrowed, with an inexplicable dark glow in their depths, his brows furrowed, almost as if his face was saying "I’m really annoyed."
The more Summer looked, the more confused she became, unable to resist asking, "What’s wrong with you?"
Damian looked at her coolly, "What do you think?"
