When Harlow and Alanis got back home they were both greeted by Ava who was standing on the front porch of the Villa waiting for her miss Harlow and Master Alanis to come back.

"Ava?" Harlow called her maid when she saw her. She didn’t like the frown on Ava’s face so she frowned too wondering what had happened to Charlotte. They haven’t been gone all day, did Garth already do something to the older woman?

This is why she must carry Charlotte anywhere she goes. She will never let anything bad happen to Grandma Hamilton.

"Master Alanis, Miss Harlow." Ava greeted with a bow.

"What are you doing here?" Alanis asked because he had placed her in charge of his grandmother. Unlike Harlow, he was calm knowing that nothing bad would happen to his grandmother. No one dared touch a hair on Charlotte’s body because they would never live to tell the tale of what he would do to them.

"I came to talk to Miss Harlow," Ava said. She had read through that document to see that Claudia was not Frank’s true child and that Elisa had been lying all this while. Ava had not told Harlow the truth yet because she wanted her to see for herself too.

That was why she had specifically asked the maid to give it to Harlow, but back then, Harlow was only focused on Claudia’s pregnancy lies.

"Alright." Alanis stepped in first and after a while, Ava and Harlow stepped inside the Villa.

"Miss Harlow, did you read all of the document that day?" Ava asked and Harlow’s confused gaze met hers. She had asked because, just today, Claudia and Lia had visited and they entered Alanis’s Villa with Garth’s help.

She knew Claudia would come for the document, that is why she had insisted Harlow read it. But judging by her Miss Harlow’s attitude, she doubts Harlow knows the truth.

"What documents are you talking about?" Harlow wondered. Ava has not given her any document, not any she could think of.

Ava looked around the mansion as if not wanting anyone to hear them as she said. "The one that contained Miss Claudia’s pregnancy report. Did you read to the end?" Harlow shook her head. There was no point reading all through when she got what she wanted.

"That’s your mistake, Miss Harlow," Ava said calmly.

"How so?"

"Because in that report was all of Claudia’s document, including her DNA test result." Ava’s words only confused Harlow even more. What did she mean by DNA? And why would she care about Claudia’s DNA test?

"So...?" Harlow asked.

"Miss Harlow, you take things likely all the time." Ava scolded. "I went through that test result and I found something unimaginable." Ava continued. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

"What is it?" Harlow asked. Ava wasn’t sure if Harlow would believe her or not, that is why she had insisted Harlow saw the truth herself. She had no idea if Claudia had carried the document when she got in here.

"Do you think the document is still with you? I want you to see for yourself." Ava said.

"Yes, it should be in our bedroom Ava. I’ll go check it out. Thank you for always looking out for me." Ava nodded and left the Villa. At the same time, Harlow hurried over to their bedroom to get the document.

If Claudia had arrived to get it herself, it must mean that it was important according to Ava. She wondered what it was and hoped Claudia hadn’t found it where she kept it. Because she didn’t bother to hide the document since it was of no use.

The moment Harlow’s feet landed in the room, she was carried immediately by none other than Alanis. He swayed her off her feet as he lifted her in his arms.

"What are you doing, put me down," Harlow commanded. She was not in the mood for this, she needed to check whatever Ava asked her to, and only then, could she attend to Alanis’s needs.

Busy as always, he didn’t put her down he rather carried her to the large bed, placing her bottom on the bed as he started unzipping her dress.

"What are you doing Alanis, let me go."

"You promised a favor. Now it’s time to fulfill it." He said.

"But I need to check for something, Ava..." Alanis placed his fingers on her lips, shutting her up.

"You promised me first, and til you do what I ask, any and everything can wait." He said. "I can’t wait anymore my villain. You need to help me out." He said.

Harlow took in a deep breath to calm herself as she wondered what Alanis wanted from her and why he was undressing her. Did he really want to have sex with her without her permission?

What did he mean by helping him out?

Harlow held his hands from pulling her dress any further. "What are you doing?" At this rate, this question was like a lifestyle right now. Because every day Alanis would always do something stupid to her.

"Don’t fret, I’m not touching you. At least not yet. But I want you to help me and like you promised, you will." He said with ragged breath as he took out her dress, leaving just her underwear in his view. For the first time, all Harlow could see in his eyes, was lust.

Pure lust.

"Let’s bath together." He said picking her from the bed as he carried her into the bathroom. While she spoke with Ava, Alanis had taken his time to prepare a warm bath for her.

The tub was filled with milky water to its brim, and a few flower petals danced on the surface of the water. Alanis placed her gently inside the tub and Harlow’s confused gaze met his. She wondered if this was a favor, asking her to bathe with him.

It wouldn’t be the first time he was doing this. He could see her body all he wanted, but she would never let him have her. That would be over her dead body.

"Now you’d do whatever I ask of you," Alanis said.

"What do you want?" Harlow asked impatiently, she wanted everything to be over so that she could do whatever Ava had asked for. Ava’s words seemed more important than whatever Alanis wanted from her.

"Take off your bra." He said.
