A black limousine moved smoothly through the city, its polished surface reflecting the bright lights of Halkhalls. The streets were alive with color, neon signs glowing, streetlights casting a warm shine, and buildings towering against the night sky.

Halkhalls was beautiful during the day, but at night, it was even more breathtaking. The city sparkled like a gem, with lights twinkling in every direction. The roads shimmered under the glow of passing cars, and the air buzzed with life.

The car kept moving along with other black convoys till it arrived at it’s destination.

Harlow had specifically asked her team to pick this place. It’s the only building she felt worthy enought to accommodate her diamonds.

The diamond competition was to begin by 4pm and after that is the auction. They had arrived at exactly 3:45pm which meant they still had time to prepare for the competition.

Tonight would be the biggest night in history. Harlow was taking back everything they stole from her in her past life.

Their car stopped at the entrance of the building and both Harlow along with Charlotte and Alanis stepped out of the car. "You two can go ahead, I’ll catch up later." She said and started walking towards another direction. She needed to talk to Richard, Edward and Elena to know how things were going.

Finally their dream to own the biggest diamond brand had finally come true.

The guard that had locked Claudia, Garth, and Lia went ahead to let them out.

"For tonight, you’re to stand by Madam Harlow’s side and tend to her needs." He told them.

"You don’t speak to us that way, don’t forget we will not remain in this position forever. By next week, I’ll make sure you lose your job." Garth tried to intimidate the man but he didn’t fret. He only smiled.

He has never worked for her before, he only works for Harlow, what right does this woman have to even fire him? Or does she not know Harlow has divided the Villa’s servants and workers into each parts. No maid or servant works in more than one Villa.

"Now move before I change my mind." He commanded and all three women followed his orders without a word. There was no point fighting when they know they wouldn’t win the fight. Claudia just needed to see her parents.

She knew that if her mother or father sees her in such condition, they will never let Harlow go. They would help her out of this mess. Only then can. The guard led them through the back of the building, the part that was hidden from every event.

The part that held the workers that works their ass off for a good show. "This is where you’ll be all night, helping to set things up like Madam has asked." He said. "No get to work." He yelled at them.

"That Harlow. Who does she think she is making us work like slaves?" Lia complained as she helped to move a few things. The competitors had already arrived and Claudia could see how beautiful their diamonds were. But to her, they were all nothing compared to the Blackwood’s diamond.

For tonight’s competition, she will make sure they win and regain their position as the best diamond company in all of Halkhalls. She will return her father’s glory back to him. That way, she will already secure her position in the family and inherit all of Frank’s property.

"Let it go Lia. Just wait till I see my parents, they will help us all out of this mess." Claudia said proudly.

"There’s nothing your parents can do Claudia. This is the Hamilton’s family law, not even the court of law can change it." Garth said calmly. If only they have been smart enough to work without getting caught.

"This is why I suggested we didn’t do the deeds ourselves, but you two didn’t listen." Claudia said with a frown. Getting caught is one of the reasons she doesn’t do her dirty works herself.

"What is done is done Claudia. We need a way out of this mess. We can’t let anyone see us working here as maids, our reputation will be ruined forever." Lia said trying to hide her face from the guests. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

Prominent figures were in attendance of tonight’s competition and auction. It would be a forever shame if they’re seem this way.

"How did Harlow even get the connections to have us working back stage when this is not her event?" Lia asked. She has been wondering for a minute now.

"I know what she wants to do?" Claudia said with a frown. She had bragged about meeting the diamond queen many times and tonight, her stupid sister has planned on stealing her upportuinity. Her grip on the tray tightened. She will never let that happen.

That will be over her dead body. Claudia turned on her cellphone and dialed her father’s number immediately.

"Hello daddy." Claudia called with the usual sweet innocent voice she always used on him.

"Where are you, the competition is about to start?" Frank’s eager voice sounded. They could not afford to lose tonight.

"Harlow’s the reason father. She has me locked here in the backstage because she’s jealous I would meet the diamond queen today. I don’t know what I did to Harlow father." Claudia cried out.

"Nonsense, no daughter of mine will be locked anywhere. I’ll send my men to let you free right now." Frank hung up. He was furious this time, Harlow has no right to lock his daughter up.

"What is it?" Elisa who was seated beside him asked. "Where did Claudia say she is?" She pressed on.

"Harlow has her locked in one of the rooms backstage, I’m going there to let her out. I think it’s time we deal with Harlow ourselves." Frank started walking away and Elisa followed suit.

Harlow locked her daughter away?

Harlow has no right to lock Claudia in any room.
