Yuki was dumbfounded by the sudden childish whine from his opponent. Not just him, even Riku also felt the same. Hell, all the commotion outside of the crowd also died down as everyone stared at the obnoxious boy incredulously as if he had just grown a second head. However, it seemed the boy didn't care about the stares – or he didn't notice it – as he continued, "Why are you always trying to target Yusuke? Are you so afraid of my attack that you have to fall to a cowardly trick like this?! It is so unmanly, you know?!"

Yuki didn't know how to react to that. He was startled, dumbfounded, flabbergasted, yet also amused at how childish the cause of the boy's rant was. However, it seemed he was the only one who thought so as everyone went frenzy over the boy's words.

"What the hell are you saying?! If this is cowardly, then, all the best teams in Japan are a bunch of cowards, huh?!"

"How dare you! You come into our home and challenge us, and we beat you, you say we are cheating?!"

"Just go back to your home, Kikugawa High's idiots!"

"This is not the place you can mess with!"

While the boy was unbothered by the crowd, the same couldn't be said for his friend. It was clear by now that the plain boy was the sensible one here, the voice of reason between those two. Still, under the scolding of the entire building, he could only cower in fear, hiding behind Kaito meekly. Fortunately, before things could get worse, Akira finally came and announced his presence.

"What is going on here?!" His voice resounded throughout the building, demanding the attention of all the people there. When all the eyes turned on him, they all folded like wet paper, trying their best to shrink their presence and avoid the coach's gaze.

Unfortunately for Yuki and Riku, since they were the main protagonists in this little game, they got caught by Akira's stern gaze and had to be the ones who explained things to their head coach. "Uh…We were just doing a warmup before training and minding our business before those two from Kikugawa High suddenly barged in and challenged us boldly, and unfortunately, things spiraled out of control." Yuki tried to explain what was going on here.

Akira raised one of his eyebrows slightly before turning his head toward the two boys who looked like children got caught stealing cookies off-handedly. Even though Kaito had a thick skin to ignore all the scolding from the students around, he couldn't do the same to Akira knowing that the man was Tsunemori's head coach and also a teacher in this school.

"And you agree to do this stupid little thing?" Akira asked incredulously. "If it is anyone else, I can believe they would jump into the fire in a heated moment, but Yuki, Megumi, you are the voices of reason in the team. Your job is to think rationally, so please tell me, what should you do when two intruders barged in and challenged you boldly just like what you just described?"

Yuki was speechless for a moment, not knowing how to defend himself. He knew that he was at fault here, so any reason coming out of his mouth would only make him feel more guilty. However, when he caught Riku trying to sneak back into the crowd, something clicked inside his mind.

"Well, Megumi-senpai and I have already told so, Sensei, but Riku made a good argument about how it would be good to play along and get to know our next opponent. The other senpai also agreed with that, so Megumi-senpai and I had no choice but to do what they wanted."

"Oh, is that so?"

Yuki nodded his head rapidly, trying to ignore the betrayed faces Riu and his other senpai gave. If he had to be punished, he would make sure to drag everyone along into hell. After all, he was not wrong in this case. Megumi argued that they should tell a teacher or security about the intruders, but they were overruled by Riku's decision.

Akira pondered for a moment before letting out a deep sigh. "I will deal with you all later. But for now…" He turned his attention back to the two intruders who were squirming on the spot. All the students who were still there watched eagerly for what Akira was going to do. They all hoped that Akira could make things difficult for them both since they dared to barge in and challenge the volleyball team openly like that.

However, Akira was unfazed by the expectation from the crowd as he asked the two boys, "So, you are Kaito and Yusuke, huh? Arisawa-kun told me a lot about you two."

"Huh? You know Junya-sensei?!" The obnoxious boy – Kaito asked in surprise.

"Know?" Akira snorted. "I am his teacher, you know? I taught him all the tricks in this sport, so I doubt he would forget about me."

The two boys shuddered instantly at the new information. They didn't expect they would meet their head coach's sensei here, and the fact that they made a quiet ruckus here was not forgotten at all. They both stared at each other, faces paled gradually as they realized how much in trouble they were when they went back to their school.

"Urgh… Sensei… Can you let us go and handle this matter with Junya-sensei?" Yusuke asked weakly.

"Sure." Akira nodded amusedly to the two boys' surprise. "But I will make sure he knows what you are doing here, so be prepared for whatever punishment you will receive from him, okay?"

After bowing deeply toward Akira, the two boys scampered off immediately, leaving everyone in confusion. They didn't know who this Arisawa Junya those three were talking about except that the man was Akira's student in the past, but based on the two boys' reactions alone, that man should have a position in Kikugawa High. However, to let them go away just like that without any punishment…

"What are you all looking at?!" Akira suddenly barked, snapping everyone's attention. Those who were not on the volleyball team ran away immediately, leaving the eight boys who were helpless and anxious about what their coach would do to them. "Well, since Yuki had already said that everyone was to blame for this commotion, the physical training today will be doubled up! Do any of you have a complaint about that?!"

"Yes, Sensei…" With a collective groan, all the Tsunemori players nodded weakly, accepting their misfortunate fate.
