The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 131: Move Out and Live With Me!
Her eyelids fluttered slightly, but she said nothing.
Jasper Yale’s gaze landed on Yelena Hughes’s back, where he noticed a bruise that didn’t look like a fresh injury.
He placed his palm over it, "How did this happen?"
Yelena Hughes flinched slightly, still feeling some pain, "I fell accidentally."
She was dazed because of Anne Hughes’s situation and missed a step going downstairs. If she hadn’t been wearing a thick cotton jacket, it might have been more serious.
Jasper Yale kissed the area of the bruise. Originally, Yelena Hughes wasn’t in much pain, but now engulfed by his scorching breath, she couldn’t help but curl up.
"Does it hurt?"
"Not too bad."
Yelena Hughes opened her eyes and saw the machine by the bed; she wanted to get up and move it.
Jasper Yale held her with his arm, preventing her from moving. "Let’s take out the film later and admire it."
This kind of perverse thing, Yelena Hughes really couldn’t manage.
She thought Jasper Yale was just making a casual remark, and Yelena Hughes glanced at the time, realizing it was time to head home.
"I promised to go home for dinner. It’s already late now..."
"Leaving?"
"Mhm."
The man’s hand released her, and Yelena Hughes got up to pick up the clothes on the floor. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
As soon as she put on a piece, a familiar yet oddly strange panting sound filled the room.
Both tender and alluring, the sound made her feel tingling all over.
Jasper Yale was enjoying the clips, his eyes clouded with a damp hue after the desire had faded.
"Yelena Hughes, your voice is truly beautiful."
It was as if she suddenly realized and lunged at Jasper Yale, trying to pull him away. "Don’t look!"
"Once recorded, it’s meant to be watched."
As Yelena Hughes’s hand reached out, before she could touch Jasper Yale’s eyes, he caught her wrist, folding her arm behind her.
He pulled Yelena Hughes in front, making her face herself in the footage, her ears burning first, and her eyes closing instantly.
"Nothing... nothing to see."
"Why wouldn’t it be good? The lead actors fit so perfectly. If it hit the market, it’d surely sell out."
Jasper Yale turned up the volume, the sound of collisions resonating, making Yelena Hughes’s legs weak just from listening.
"Delete it, quickly."
"How could I delete it? I want to keep it."
Yelena Hughes turned her head in shock, looking at Jasper Yale’s face, "No, you can’t."
"I’ll store it safely; apart from you and me, no one will see it."
"No way, absolutely not!"
Yelena Hughes had read too many news stories. The infamous XX scandal taught women a grave lesson.
She heard Jasper Yale laugh in her ear, "Look how uninhibited you are, that sway, so enticing. Why don’t you watch it yourself?"
Yelena Hughes forcefully covered Jasper Yale’s mouth, seeing the man’s brows relax.
Jasper Yale retreated, falling back onto the bed, still not forgetting to pull Yelena Hughes along.
She fell onto him, eager to get up.
Jasper Yale pressed her waist, "Yelena Hughes, move out."
She paused for a moment, refusing, "My family needs me. I can’t just leave, plus my sister’s illness requires someone by her side."
"Then, when I want to see you, you must come out."
Jasper Yale touched the woman’s face. Initially, his intentions toward Yelena Hughes were simple, just for a good night’s sleep.
Whenever he tired of it, he could end it without any hassle.
But now, Jasper Yale wanted to keep her close and yearned to hold her through the night until morning.
Jasper Yale held her tight, kissing her forcefully once before finally letting go.
Before leaving, Yelena Hughes deleted everything from the camera, and not feeling assured, she formatted it entirely.
Hailey Jenkins took Nancy Alden back home, then headed straight to The Avalon Banquet.
Jasper Yale took Yelena Hughes into the car, "Take her home first."
"Yes."
Yelena Hughes opened the window, resting her elbow on the frame, her chin on her arm, looking out.
The cold wind blew straight into her face, but it felt comforting.
The more she felt so, the clearer her mind became.
Jasper Yale wore little, the wind whistling into his collar. He turned to look at Yelena Hughes; at this moment, her seductive demeanor had vanished completely, leaving her looking quite aloof.
He didn’t bother her, and after driving a while, he pulled her arm, drawing her closer.
"Want to freeze yourself to death?"
The driver raised the window; he touched Yelena Hughes’s face, cold to the touch.
Mindful of others in the car, she tried to dodge, but Jasper Yale’s hand directly slipped into her neckline, "You’re only wearing this inside, cold?"
"No, I’m not cold."
Yelena Hughes became bashful, but Jasper Yale had eaten enough tonight, and he didn’t intend to bother her.
On the way back, nearing Yelena Hughes’s neighborhood, she asked Jasper Yale to stop. "I’ll get out here."
"You’re going to walk back?"
"Yes, just for a stroll."
Jasper Yale didn’t heed her, still dropping her off downstairs.
Yelena Hughes was really helpless, watching his car drive away before she went out.
Under the heavy shroud of night, she crossed to the opposite side of the neighborhood, not noticing Jasper Yale’s car hadn’t left.
Yelena Hughes entered a pharmacy, still quite full of people. She looked around the shelves for a while.
A pharmacist who appeared to be of retirement age approached, "May I ask what you’re looking for?"
Yelena Hughes had to whisper, "Do you have emergency contraception?"
"We do, it’s over here."
She led Yelena Hughes to another row of shelves, handing her a box.
Yelena Hughes checked the price, 97.
No need for something so expensive.
She reached for another box, one she’d used before, under twenty.
The pharmacist frowned slightly, "You might want to avoid that. The one I gave you is very good."
"It’s okay, this one will do."
The pharmacist didn’t insist, but still said, "Young people saving a few bucks? When you’re at the point of taking medicine, you sure don’t want any unexpected surprises."
Yelena Hughes took out her phone, eager to pay and leave quickly.
Beside the counter, a customer measuring blood pressure looked at Yelena Hughes oddly.
"Young lady, taking too much medicine isn’t good. I can tell you’ve never had children, right? If you can’t conceive later, it’ll be a lifelong regret."
Yelena Hughes really didn’t want to linger, but the pharmacist wouldn’t give up, asking, "Shall I get you a different box?"
"No need."
"If there’s any accident later, don’t trouble our store."
She heard footsteps coming from behind. As the woman in the white coat was about to scan, Jasper Yale took the medicine from her hand.
Jasper Yale flipped the box over, glancing at the manufacturer.
"What a coincidence, I’m familiar," he lifted his gaze slightly, glancing at the woman behind the counter, "If such medicine is useless, how come it’s still on the shelf?"
"I... I never said it was useless, my point is, the other one works better."
Jasper Yale tossed the box onto the counter, eyes full of mockery, "You’re so sure? Have you tried both of these?"
