THE CEO AND ME!-Chapter 180 - IF YOU HAD KEPT YOUR PROMISE,I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE MOTHER OF TWO DEATH CHILDREN!
PRECAP
"For years...I thought...I wondered why would she leave me2 like that all of a sudden?? Right after we had lost our child..."
Kian spoke to himself, realizing that the answer to the question that he had been searching for years...stopped recently was finally out for him.
I just want everything to fall back to its place now...now that you know that it was not Serena who left you, it was I who made her do it...she had no fault, Kian!"
Valeria was ready to take all the blame so that Kian would leave Tinsley. She could never come to terms with that marriage.
"My wife is born and raised in riches, Valeria...the kind of richness you and I were not born into...yet when I lost everything, she came with me, stood beside me...loved me only me when she could have just left me...there was a line of suitors for her..."
Kian stated, thinking to himself that how wrong he had been calling her selfish.

"I do not know much...I only know you were friends with that rich man's daughter, you guys would play around...and I suppose you fell for her...who would not...she let you on, she allowed you to kiss her when she was promised to someone else...and there was no one to see it.....
The next day, you were dragged out of that small house they had given to you and your mother to live on...your mother begged for that cruel man to let you go...she was ready to leave the place with you but...well rest you know..."
Kian remained frozen in his position. Valeria turned around and peeked into his eyes.
"It was her...she did it but she will never admit that or tell you that! "
Valeria completed and at that moment, all the flashbacks that he had had in their honeymoon...a brief of all the faded memories...the redhead girl and the smiling lady...his mother.
What he could not grasp was why would Tinsley do that??? Why would she get to tell it her father??
Why would she do something as horrendous as such that??
He could not either get off that image where she pushed him away from kissing and ran away.
Could it be that she did not like the kiss?? She even leaned forward before him...he was just so confused at this point.
"That is why...that is why I can never come in terms with that girl...she always will remind me of the sister, I lost...the darkness from where I had pulled you through....when Serena came and you were going in the same direction, Kian I had to do something...and I ended up forcing her away..."
Valeria tried to justify her actions with words. Her relationship with her nephew mattered to her more than anything because he was all that she had as a family.
"I can't see you going through all that pain...all that ache and hurt...and you do not tell anyone, you just keep them within you which is so hard to bring you back to normal...I could not let you go through it again and so when your mind chose to forget everything, I did not bother telling u that back but now when you are headed to be with the woman who broke hell upon us...separated you from your mother, and what not...I can't...I could never come in terms with that, Kian!"
And for the first time, Kian saw tears in his aunt's eyes. She was crying while letting everything out.
He had never seen her cry and it made him come forward and pull her body toward his and hug her.
She had done so much for him. From finding him to raising him up, making him the man he was, today. He could never repay her back of her efforts.
No matter whatever feud they had, she only did what she thought was right for him in her own way.
She did not want him to go through the pain and hurt again so she tried to resolve the problem in her way and Kian saw nothing wrong in it anymore.
He only regretted of being so bitter to her for just a woman...and now he was not even sure about that too.
"I do not have anything to gain by hurting you, nephew....you are the only one I have been left with....son!!! I have never seen as anyone less than the child that I miscarried!"
Valeria caressed his jaws and Kian kissed the back of her hands, trying to calm her down.
Later that afternoon, while driving back to his home, he could not stop thinking about the truth he had discovered.
It was a lot to take in. And no wonder why Valeria was keeping it all to herself because if let out, it would have disrupted everything...all that he had known or perceived it to be true.
And it had. It indeed had sort of ruined something he had built inside his head. The relationship with his wife was more than uncertain ever.
He kept playing that flashback in his head where she pushed him away after the kiss and ran back home, trying to deduce that if she was really not into it?? And so she complained about it to her father??
Meanwhile, in that pouring rain, Tinsley drove back to their countryside home. The mango tree underneath everything had started and was going to end probably.
She parked her Audi nearby the gate and jumped straight through the small wall because the gate was sealed and locked.
She fell flat on her bump on the muddy water and stood up. The rain had drenched her clothing and red hair.
She walked towards the house which looked like it had been abandoned for ages but it had only been like eight months since her last visit here...on her last twenty-first birthday.
After which her parents had died. The night where her engagement was conducted in the backwards hall out of nowhere.
And where Josh had mocked her to be a living slut all his life because he saw her once with a boy who had kissed her underneath the mango tree...and that boy was her husband today.
She sighed and strolled towards the garden where she had so many memories.
She could hear her small self running around the field, screaming for Kian to catch her if he could.
In the far, when she tilted her head, she could see the small servant quarter where the nice last would call out for them to eat.
She kept walking and got inside the mansion by breaking in through the window.
The glass shattered into pieces as she threw the large garden brick into it. The plot was basically empty and she did not care if anybody could hear her.
She climbed in through the window and roamed around the empty mansion. There were no things, no chairs, no furniture, nothing.
There were spider webs, voidness and she kept strolling around every corner remembering the good old times, her mother used to host parties here.
Her birthday would be celebrated here often. It was a gift her grandmother, Maria Nebraska Johnson had given to her mother, during the marriage.
And her mother often drove to here with her whenever father was out in kong business trips because Marshally grew up in a farm...a vineyard, she could never settle patiently in the city mansion...their primary residency.
She got out of the house through the back door and it led her straight to the mango tree.
She closed her eyes and opened it only to see the tree, still in its prime, as the rain kept showering over it.
She had no idea why she was here again. What caused her to come back to the place everything had started??
Maybe because there was a feeling...a very disturbing feeling within the pit of her stomach, that everything was coming to an end.
She walked under the rain and headed straight towards the tree. She saw them, she heard the giggles, the laughter, the playful stares...and she was afraid that she might have to bid farewell to all that sooner.
As Kian drove back home, he was greeted by the same emptiness. He saw that his wife's car was out again and on asking the homemade, Alice who replied with the same uncertainty that she had no idea.
He tried to call her and when he saw that her phone location was back on the Anderson Corp. Tower, he was beyond furious.
He called her, and the ring went on. Nathan heard a phone ringing but could not figure out from where it was coming into his office.
When he left for home, the phone rang again. The cleaning lady picked the phone up from the crease of the sofa and delivered it to the lost and found department.
Kian threw his phone away, breaking it into pieces.
