The CEO's Wife Is Super Charming-Chapter 352 - 349: You Think I’m Like You?
"Who are you?" Shane Southwell had no intention of putting down his weapon. If he did, he might never know how he died.
He had no idea why these people wanted to capture him until he saw a tall, distinguished man walk in, with the others making way for him.
Upon closer inspection, isn’t this Norman Bennett?
Suddenly, he understood what these people were here for; they came looking for Elliana Lyle.
"Oh, I thought it was someone else. Turns out it’s CEO Bennett—been a while."
The voice carried a hint of nonchalance, and the tension on his face transformed into mockery.
Norman Bennett stared coldly at the provocations of Shane Southwell, his expression as chilling as death itself.
"Where is she?" 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
"Who? What person?" Shane Southwell’s feigned look of confusion was quite convincing, and then he seemed to realize something and laughed, "You’re not looking for Elliana, are you?"
"Tell me, where is she?"
The voice was filled with suppressed rage, enough to instill fear deep within one’s heart.
But for Shane Southwell, death’s pig fears no boiling water. Caught by Norman Bennett, was there any chance of survival?
Naturally not—he shouldn’t have drunk in this small tavern; he should have left long ago.
But then again, ever since his father’s death, he’d become someone everyone could boss around.
Even capturing Elliana was at another’s behest, although he really wanted to find Elliana, torture her, play with her, and kill her afterward!
But Elliana was high-value merchandise, desired by a wealthy patron, so to get the money and stay alive, he couldn’t afford to vent his resentment.
Actually, it was not much different—falling into those people’s hands wouldn’t be much better than falling into hers. Thinking of this, he couldn’t help but laugh.
"I say, Norman Bennett, she’s just a woman, isn’t she? Look at you, so wretched." He dared now to blatantly mock Norman Bennett, who he wouldn’t have dared to mock before.
After all, whether it’s live or die, why not have a bit of fun before dying?
Then he glanced at the people beside Norman Bennett; the things in their hands were quality stuff.
Suddenly realizing something, his expression darkened: "Norman Bennett, my father died in Myanmar, was it you?"
Cameron Southwell dead?
This news certainly came as a surprise.
Before anyone could speak, Shane Southwell screamed like mad, "I tell you! You’ll never find her in your lifetime! If you’re searching, go to hell and look!"
These words made Norman Bennett’s heart sink, and the veins in his gun-holding hand protruded as his patience neared its breaking point.
He raised his right hand, pointing at Shane Southwell: "One last chance. Tell me, where is she?"
"Hahaha! Threaten me? Do I fear your threats? Huh? You dare not; if you kill me, you’ll really never find her."
With that, Shane Southwell coughed and finally clenched the gun in his hand, continuing, "Norman Bennett, you’re just a pathetic person, for a woman, hahahaha! Is it worth it?"
"Don’t you want to know where Eleanor Llyod is?" Norman Bennett said as he restrained his temper.
"Eleanor?"
Shane Southwell was taken aback, his gaze momentarily vacant, as if struck by something.
But in an instant, he laughed again, deranged, bending over in laughter, he yelled with rage at the people in front of him, "That cheap woman! Crawling into Nathan Dawn’s bed! You think I’d still care about her? Using her to force me? Norman Bennett, you think I’m like you?"
With that, he raised the gun, and unexpectedly, the gunshot rang.
Soon after.
All returned to the calm of before.
