Chapter 33: Unusual Act Of Kindness

Just as he spoke, Eman and 9 of his boys in my organization appeared. They carried baseball bats, while Eman and Darjan held their pistols. The junkies immediately noticed their arrival and became frightened.

"Put all the junkies in a corner, Eman. I want to talk to them," I commanded.

The boys began to push everyone together into a corner. Some resisted, but they were quickly beaten and forced to sit down. After a few long minutes, all the junkies were seated in the corner.

"Hello, my name is The Nameless," I began my speech with a commanding tone, "And after a while, I have returned to Ipoz. This place is the headquarters of The Hidden World, but now it's filled with drug addict like yourselves. As a kind leader, I won't hurt nor kill any of you in fact, I want to help you. So, for the time being, please do not come back to Ipoz. Once I gain more resources, I will rebuild your future before it's destroyed completely."

"What" "Fuck you" "Shut up and let us enjoy our life bitch"...

Despite most of them cursing at me and throwing objects, I did not falter.

"Men!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Are you going to let drugs lead your future? Are you nothing but mere cowards?! Think about your mother's reaction if she saw you right now. what would she say if she saw you right now huh!? would she be happy? of course not! and don't you fucking want to build a better environment for your future children or even for yourself?! Will you live your whole life beating yourself up and covering your scars with drugs, or will you stand up and show the world that you're better than that!!!" I shouted, hoping to make them realize the destructive path they were on and encourage them to choose a better way forward.

"..."

As the room fell silent, I watched as the junkies began to leave, one by one, tossing their needles aside. But some of them stayed still sniffing cocaine and injecting needles.

Ignoring the fuckers who stayed behind i called out to the brave men, "You've made the right choice. This is one of the bravest decisions you've ever made in your lives, and for that, I am proud of you all. Come back to Ipoz in three days, and I'll help you out!"

As I glanced around the room, my eyes landed on the tragic old man still lingering in the corner.

Curious as to why he was still there after almost everyone else had left, I approached him and asked, "Um gramps. May I ask why you're still here?"

Tears welled up in his eyes, grabbing both of my hands and replying "I was waiting for everyone to leave, so I could thank you for everything."

Feeling a bit taken aback, I reassured him, "Please don't thank me. I don't deserve your appreciation."

Despite my protests, the man continued to express his gratitude, repeating the same words over and over again before finally standing up and making his way out of the building.

"Now then..." i said looking at the men who were foolish enough to stay behind. "Boys beat them till they're half dead."

My subordinates eyes sparkled with the opportunity to unleash their aggression without consequences.

As soon as the junkies heard my command, panic seized them, as they desperately attempted to flee toward the exit. However, Eman and Darjan swiftly blocked the exit with gun point, leaving them trapped with me. They screamed as they spread through the large factory, engaging in a crazy game of hide and seek, fully aware of the dire consequences if caught. With each passing second, the air was filled with screams of terror and unsettling sounds.

Once each and every one of them lay on the ground, knocked out and bleeding, sprawled across the entire expanse of the factory, Darjan approached me and made a comment, "Boss, aren't you a hypocritical guy? You force them to stop using drugs while you sell the same shit. Hahaha, I love it. But why did you do it anyway?"

"After that old man told me his story, I felt a weight on my shoulders, a sense of obligation to do something to help those who were struggling like he had been, well To be honest, it feels good to be a hero for a change after spending so long as a bad guy." I responded

He laughed and shouted to the rest of the boys, "Huh!?!? The boss is going soft because of some old man, hahaha!"

"So fucking what? And do you really think I'm doing all this just for the sake of being good? Oh no, bro, you're greatly mistaken. I have plans for these fucking junkies. Well not for the ones who are lying half dead on the floor hahaha. You know, Darjan I'm being a so-called villain because it's the easiest way to get money, if being good brought food to the table I would much rather do that."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. It's more fun to be a gangster. Everyone fears you, and no one dares to challenge you. You know what I mean," Darjan replied.

"I do."

The rest of the boys chimed in, some agreeing with me, while others teasingly calling me "soft" and "a hero.", Despite their playful jabs, I knew deep down that they respected me.

"Shut up all of you! Each of you, grab one of these junkies and throw them into a dark room. When they awaken, they'll believe they're dead hahaha. It's a shame I can't see their reaction when they wake up. Anyways after you're done, go home beside Eman Darjan and David." Upon my command, they obediently began dragging the drug-addled individuals across the factory, their unconscious bodies leaving a trail of blood. With a sense of urgency, they transported them to a secluded, ominous room.

"Boss, the job is done," one of my men uttered, wiping the sweat off his forehead.

"Tsk, are you all dumb? Clean the fucking floor now!" I retorted sharply.

"But Dionis, it's impossible. Can't you see? It's littered with broken glass, rocks, and needles," Eman intervened, pointing his hands on the floor.

"Not to mention the blood, you dumb fuck! And since you decided to open your mouth, you'll help them in cleaning as well," I coldly declared.

As my words sank in, regret washed over Eman's face at the fact he was going to clean becuase of his loud mouth, but without wasting any time, they began cleaning the blood thoroughly, mindful of the potential danger posed by needles and shards of glass.

Darjan and I settled ourselves on a nearby piece of equipment, engaging in an hour-long conversation while they diligently completed their task. Once they were finished, they swiftly disappeared, their duty fulfilled. Eman and David approached, taking seats beside me. "Darjan gets to relax while I toil away like a slave. This shit is unfair, Dionis." Eman exclaimed, irritated.

With a calm demeanor, I responded, "Consider it a lesson in life to stop opening your mouth on behalf of others."

"Whatever, man. Anyways, why did you stop the three of us?" He leaned in, his curiosity evident in his expression.

The three of them looked at me with curiosity, wondering why I had specifically stopped them. Even though they weren't quite sure what was going on, they could sense that something serious was unfolding before them.

"Boys, I stopped you to let you know that tomorrow you won't be able to make it to school. We have an important visit to make to Seba," i told them, their expressions immediately shifted to a mix of surprise and concern.

They were all familiar with Seba since they had already visited him with me during the previous drug deal where I bought $1000 worth of ecstasy. I decided to bring Eman, Darjan, and David again because they were my trusted close subordinates… Well Eman and Darjan are I'm was just bringing David to look good in front of seba, unlike the rest who I use to sell my drugs on the streets.

"Boys, this is the start of something big, and I need you guys with me."

Eman, Darjan, and David nodded their heads in agreement, and we all went our separate ways, preparing for the meeting with Seba.

As i walked through the streets heading home, I couldn't help but think about the old man who had motivated me to help him which was uncharacteristic of me. I thought about it deeply and came to the realization that I helped him because I haven't fully adjusted to being perceived as a 'bad guy'. All my life, I had been taught how to be good, so naturally it's challenging to change overnight, especially when doing so completely alone. Initially, my help stemmed from genuine empathy, as I couldn't ignore the plight of others. However, as my men beat the junkies that were dumb enough to stay behind I swiftly recognized the potential for personal gain within the situation. In the near future, you will witness how I masterfully turned the circumstances to my advantage, transforming it into a profitable project.

When I got back home, my mind was still consumed with deep thoughts that were apparent on my face. My mother, who is perceptive of my moods, quickly picked up on my state and asked if everything was alright.

"Dionis, is there something troubling you?"

I smiled and responded to her question, "No, mom. I'm just lost in thought about school."

Even though I tried to put up a facade of normalcy, my mother's keen observation had already detected the underlying agitation in my mind. Despite this, I appreciated her concern and her willingness to listen if I needed to talk about any issues that were bothering me.

As usual, I spent the remaining part of my night alone in my room. It was getting late, so I decided to call it a day, shut down the computer, and tried to get some sleep. However, despite my efforts to rest, I found myself unable to doze off. As time passed, my frustration grew, and I became increasingly irritated that I couldn't sleep. Countless times, I flipped the pillow to find a cooler side, clenching my teeth in frustration.

Just as I was about to give up on the idea of sleeping altogether, I was suddenly awakened by the sound of birds singing. The sweet melodies of their chirping filled my ears, providing me with a sense of comfort.

"The fuck? Wasn't it midnight a second ago??" I pondered, confusion washing over me as I laid in bed, staring up at the ceiling.

it didn't even cross my mind that i had dozed off while trying to figure out why I couldn't fall asleep.

Moving on, Morning came in a flash, and it was time to meet Seba once again in a while, I couldn't help but feel excited at the shit ton of money ill be making.
