The Contract Bride of Mr. Reid-Chapter 109: Malcolm’s sudden illness.
Passion flared as their lips met in a feverish kiss. Theodore’s fingertips, light as whispers, danced along Bella’s spine, etching intricate designs on the sensitive flesh beneath.
Each touch sent a shiver of pleasure down her spine. He trailed kisses down her neck, savoring the taste of her skin, the lingering scent of her perfume tantalizing his senses.
Bella arched into him, her breath catching in her throat as his love washed over her in a warm wave. "Bella," he murmured a husky promise. "I’ll always protect you."
A smile, soft and trusting, curved her lips. "I know," she whispered back.
She pulled him to the bed, his hulky frame pressing down her petite form. Cupping his face, she gazed into his eyes, their depths reflecting a love that burned bright. "I’ll never stop loving you," she promised.
"Oh, Bella." He responded with a kiss, this time fierce and hungry, as if he couldn’t get enough of her.
The last remnants of their clothing flew through the air and landed in a heap on the floor. Theodore sighed as he entered her, his movements deliberately slow and full of reverence. The urgency that had initially fueled their passion gave way to a tender, unhurried rhythm. Frantic groping turned into slower, more deliberate movements.
Their eyes locked as they moved in perfect sync, their breaths mingling. Theodore interlaced his fingers with Bella’s, lowering himself to claim her lips in a tender kiss. His mouth trailed down her neck, leaving a path of warmth and desire, until he reached her breastbone.
Bella responded with soft gasps and sighs, her back arching in feverish anticipation. Theodore’s tongue gently circled her nipple, drawing a moan from deep within her. Each electric sensation sent waves of pleasure through her, intensifying with every touch. Her soft moans turned into cries of ecstasy as he continued his ministrations, knowing she was close.
Sliding his hand down, he found her clitoris and began to rub it gently while maintaining the rhythm of his thrusts. Bella’s entire body tensed, her fingernails digging into his arms as she edged closer to climax. Theodore didn’t slow down; he pressed on, driving them both toward the peak of their pleasure.
When the climax hit, it was almost simultaneous. Bella’s body moved like waves in the sea, her cries of pleasure echoing through the room. Theodore wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to his chest as the electrifying sensations washed over him.
Exhaustion morphed into satiation, peace settling over them like a comforting blanket. They lay side by side, cradling each other in the aftermath of their shared bliss.
Theodore brushed a strand of hair from Bella’s face, his eyes filled with adoration. "Are you okay?" he asked softly.
Bella hummed and nodded, her eyes shining with affection. "I am more than okay," she replied, snuggling into his chest. They lay there, wrapped in each other’s warmth, savoring the tranquility of the moment.
Ring-Ring-Ring...
The insistent trill of Theodore’s phone shattered the tender moment. He groped for it on the nightstand, his brow furrowing as he saw Claudia’s name illuminated on the screen. A flicker of annoyance crossed his face as he answered with a curt, "Hello?"
Claudia’s voice crackled through the phone, laced with urgency. "Theodore, come to the mansion, now. Your grandpa is not well."
"What?" He shot upright, worry etching lines across his forehead. "What happened to him? How is he?" He scrambled out of bed, already tugging on his clothes.
Claudia rushed to explain. "He was having dinner, and then... he suddenly fell sick. I called the doctor, and he is on his way."
"Okay, I am coming."
He ended the call and tossed the phone on the bed, putting on his shirt. Sensing something was wrong, Bella grew anxious.
Sensing his frantic energy, she sat up, her brow creased with concern. "What’s wrong?"
"I need to head to the mansion," he said, his words tumbling over each other. "Grandpa isn’t well."
Bella’s eyes widened. "I’ll come with you," she offered, throwing back the covers.
Theodore froze, a wave of conflicting emotions washing over him. The memory of his recent argument with his grandfather flashed in his mind. Taking Bella with him now felt like a bad idea. Her presence might further upset Malcolm’s fragile health.
"Stay here," he said firmly. "Eat on time and get some sleep. Don’t wait up for me, alright?"
"But I want to come with you," she urged.
"Bella, please," he said gently. "I don’t know how serious things are. Let me go check on him first. I’ll call you, okay?"
Without waiting for another word, he turned and disappeared out the door, leaving Bella alone in the echoing silence of the room. The unexpected turn of events left her numb, her mind racing with a mix of worry and a gnawing sense of exclusion.
A cruel smile twisted Claudia’s lips as she eyed the tiny vial in her hand. Just a few drops of the mysterious concoction were enough to make Malcolm sick.
"Let’s see how long you can resist this, Theodore," she muttered, a dark glint flickering in her eyes.

Meanwhile, Theodore navigated the winding roads with a lead foot, his mind a churning sea of worry. Malcolm’s illnesses always triggered a wave of panic in him, the sight of his grandfather weakened unbearable. In the midst of his frantic driving, he punched in Gary’s number.
"Gary, listen closely," he said with urgency. "Grandpa isn’t well. Head to the mansion and check on him." The doctor Claudia had called instilled no confidence in him. He needed someone he trusted by Malcolm’s side.
"What? He is not well!" Gary exclaimed, sounding surprised. "But he was just at the hospital for his checkups a few days ago, and everything was fine. What happened all of a sudden?"
Theodore let out a frustrated bark. "I don’t know! Claudia called and said he fell sick at dinner. Just get there and see what’s going on." Gary lived closer to the mansion and could reach Malcolm much faster.
"Relax, bro," Gary soothed. "I’ll be there in a flash. He’ll be alright. Just drive safely." 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
"Don’t leave until I get there, okay?" Theodore urged.
"Yes, yes..."Don’t worry, I’ll be waiting."
Beep
The line went dead. Theodore tossed the phone onto the passenger seat, his focus shifting solely to the road ahead. Every fiber of his being strained to reach the mansion faster.
