Chapter 282: The intimate night

Theodore’s concern deepened as he saw the distress flicker in Bella’s eyes. "Do you have your medicine with you?"

Bella nodded weakly, pointing toward the side table. "In my bag."

Theodore reached for her bag, unzipping it swiftly. His fingers sifted through its contents until he found a small white vial. Popping open the cap, he retrieved a pill and turned back to her.

"Here, take this." He placed the pill in her palm before grabbing the glass of water from the nightstand.

Bella placed the pill on her tongue and took a small sip of water. The cool liquid soothed her dry throat, but the weight pressing against her chest remained.

"Thanks," she murmured, handing the glass back to him.

Theodore didn’t move away. He studied her closely, his gaze searching for any sign of relief. "How are you feeling now?"

A strange unease lingered in her heart. The nightmare... it had felt too real. The sensation of falling, the sharp impact, the overwhelming darkness—every detail was still vivid in her mind.

"I feel awful," she said. "I don’t know why, but I have this strange feeling... like I fell and hit my head somewhere—something hard." She pressed her fingers against her forehead, where a dull throb pulsed beneath her skin. "It hurts."

Theodore’s heart clenched at her words. He had no idea how much pain she had endured, but one thing was clear—she was struggling, lost in a past she couldn’t fully grasp.

"Don’t think too much about it," he pulled her into his arms. "Don’t push yourself. I don’t care whether you remember the past or not." He held her closer, his chin resting lightly atop her head. "All that matters to me is that you’re here... alive and with me." 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Bella closed her eyes, letting herself sink into his warmth. His words, his touch, everything about him anchored her. The fear slowly began to ebb away, replaced by a sense of security.

Maybe the past was blurry. Maybe the memories were lost. But in this moment, wrapped in Theodore’s arms, she felt something undeniably real.

The lingering unease melted away. The tightness in Bella’s chest slowly unraveled. She let out a quiet breath, her body surrendering to the comfort he provided.

"You should sleep," Theodore urged. "The pain will fade by morning."

His knuckles brushed against her cheek in a slow, deliberate motion. His touch sent a shiver down her spine, her eyes fluttering shut as tingles spread across her skin.

Theodore couldn’t hold back any longer. Leaning in, he captured her lips in a soft, lingering kiss.

Bella froze for a heartbeat, her pulse hammering inside her ribcage. She knew she should stop him, tell him she wasn’t ready. But his lips were gentle, coaxing, pulling her deeper into something she couldn’t resist. Her fingers found their way into his hair, gripping lightly as she melted into the kiss.

Theodore’s need ignited, his desire for her intensifying. He pulled her closer, molding her against his chest as the kiss deepened. The warmth of her body, the taste of her lips—it was intoxicating.

When they finally pulled apart, breathless and dazed, their gazes locked. Bella’s chest rose and fell rapidly, her fingers pressing against her lips in disbelief.

’I kissed him!’ A deep flush crept up her neck, heat pooling in her cheeks.

Theodore reached out, tilting her chin with gentle fingers, making her meet his eyes.

"Bella..." His expression was intense, filled with raw emotion. "I love you."

Bella’s stomach fluttered and fluttered, emotions filling her chest. His words, the longing in his eyes, and the sincerity in his expression all screamed that he was telling the truth. Even if she couldn’t remember their past, she wanted to melt into him at this moment, to get lost in his love, and to start over yet again.

"I don’t care what you remember and what you don’t," he added, his desperation palpable in his voice. "It doesn’t matter to me if you regain your memory or not. My love for you is the same and will only grow with time. All I want is to be with you. Please don’t leave me again. I’ve been holding myself back all these days. But I can’t do it anymore. Be with me and give me a chance to win you back again."

Bella didn’t respond instantly and kept staring at him silently. Theodore, on the other hand, grew tense. Impatient, he urged, "Say something."

"I am willing," she finally said. "I trust you, and I think I can spend the rest of my life with you."

A grin broke on his face, his chest swelling with joy. "Thank you for trusting me." He leaned in and kissed her yet again, this time more sensually.

His warmth, the sweetness of his lips, and the charged moment spiked the rush of hormones in her system. Her body craved more. She inched closer to him instinctively, her hand exploring his chest.

Theodore also felt the heat rising in him. He wanted nothing but to claim her, but he needed her permission to proceed.

He pulled back slightly and asked, "Are you sure you want this?"

Bella’s breathing was quick and shallow, her heartbeat faster. She nodded. "Yes, I want you."

Theodore didn’t waste another second. His lips found hers in a desperate, soul-deep kiss, pouring every ounce of his love, desire, and torment into the embrace.

Bella melted against him, her fingers tangling in his hair as she responded with equal fervor. The ache of separation vanished in the heat of their bodies pressed together, their kisses deepening, breaths mingling.

"I’ve missed you," he murmured, his eyes roamed over her, dark with passion.

Bella’s hands traced his jaw, feeling the tension of longing that had built up for weeks. "Show me," she whispered, her eyes shimmering with desire.

They kissed again, this time hungrily. Their clothes were discarded in a hurry, piling up on the floor. Theodore pulled up the blanket over him as he positioned himself on top of her. His eyes drank her beauty before he leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

His lips trailed over bare her skin, hands rediscovering every curve, every scar, every mark that belonged only to him. Theodore worshiped Bella, making up for every moment they had lost, every lonely night he had spent apart.

Bella arched against him, savoring the sensation his touch was giving her. Not a single inch was left untouched, his lips tasting her, teasing her. When he finally entered her, she gasped at the rush of electric sensations spreading across her body. Her nails dug into his back as she drew him closer to her.

He kissed her yet again when he started moving, his movement deliberate and slow. "Oh, God...Bella, you are hot," he groaned. The heat and the tightness around his erection was maddening. He found himself drawing closer to release with each passing moment, whispers of love and soft gasps filling the space between them.

His movement grew frantic, and Bella’s cries grew louder. They reached their climax together, their bodies trembling from the aftershock of their shared passionate moments.

When they finally lay tangled together, Theodore held Bella close, pressing tender kisses to her hair, her forehead, her bare shoulder. "I love you so much," he whispered. "I’ll never lose you again."

Bella smiled, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on his chest. She was contented. The days of tension, fear, and uncertainty seemed to disappear altogether, filling her life with new hope and promises. After what felt like an eternity, she felt she found a safe haven.
