Chapter 996: My Parents Don't Take Returned Goods **

Rowena batted her eyes at Raphael's words. This was the first time he called her with a nickname, a short version of her own name and she liked it very much.

She actually thought about how her name and his sounded so nice together. Creteans didn't have last names like humans and there were not that many of them to have the need to identify themselves based on their family names.

She looked at him with gleaming eyes, he was truly a feast to the eyes.

"I like that," Rowena said, before she pulled him closer for a kiss. His naked body pressed on hers and he gently positioned his manhood on her fold and entered her while they were engulfed in a fiery kiss.

It was a smooth process. She was so wet and ready. When he filled her up, Rowena bit her lip and let out a long moan. The union of their bodies felt so right, so natural.

She suddenly remembered someone said a home is not a house, but a person.

She didn't know why she thought of home, right here with him, when they were united, in body and soul. Was she even a complete person before today? She didn't remember. Now, Rowena didn't even know how she could live before without this man in her life.

All the beautiful thoughts filled her mind as love and pleasure engulfed her whole being. Raphael kissed her and pampered all her sensual spots that he had learned from their previous encounter while adding new ones he found today.

Oh... her body was truly heaven. Rowena had a very sensitive reaction to every little thing he did to her body. He loved hearing her soft moans and the way she whispered his name with her melodious voice.

"I love you, Rowena," he whispered before he bit her earlobe playfully and licked it to hear her whimper sexily. "I can't wait to live my forever with you."

Rowena's mind was clouded by pleasure and she couldn't respond. She only wrapped her hands around his neck, and moan incessantly while the man was pounding her. She could only nod as a response. Raphael chuckled. He moved back a little and wrapped her legs around his waist and continued his work.

Both didn't remember how many times she reached the peak before Raphael came inside her and gave them a short break. It was such a nice first round. Rowena closed her eyes and smiled silly when Raphael climbed down from her body and pulled her into a loving embrace.

They hugged tightly, still with panting breath.

"That was..." Rowena smiled coyishly and slowly opened her eyes. "Wonderful."

She turned to the side and saw him look at her dotingly, a big smile curved up on his face too. Raphael kissed her lips and tightened his hug. "I am glad you liked it."

He rolled her over and helped her sit on top of him. Rowena let out a soft gasp when his penis slid in easily and filled her up again.

"You startled me..." she complained but was not angry. She bent down a little and kissed him again.

Raphael held her waist and helped her move up and down until she could find the most comfortable position to give her pleasure. He enjoyed looking at the beautiful view as she took control of their lovemaking.

Rowena learned quickly that she could do whatever she pleased to get herself the pleasure she wanted. However, she was happy when she saw Raphael close his eyes and showed that silly smile on his face when her movement made him feel good.

Rowena now understand why he pampered her so much. When she was happy and enjoyed pleasure from his hard work, he felt satisfied and happy too. That was what she was feeling now.

From this moment of intimacy, Rowena got to realize that true love was not selfish. If you loved someone truly, you just wanted them to be happy.

This moment of realization made her shed tears slowly.

She realized her father never loved her. Not even once.

As for Raphael... he did love her. But would he still love her if he knew the real her? This made Rowena feel depressed again.

The man could feel something was wrong because she was slowing down. He opened his eyes and looked at her. Her eyes were gleaming with tears.

"Hey... what's wrong, Rowena?" He sat up and pulled her to his lap. "Why are you crying?"

Rowena looked at the man deeply. She couldn't say what's in her heart. All she could muster was, "Please don't leave me..."

"Huh? I would never leave you," Raphael said. "You are my better half. You belong with me."

He didn't probe why she spoke that way. He could see how much she struggled with words at the moment. He thought there was more to what she was telling him, but he preferred to wait until she opened up to him on her own.

"What if I disappointed you?" Rowena asked with a hoarse voice.

"I will never leave you no matter what," Raphael said seriously. He touched her cheek and looked at her with a serious gaze. "And I am also asking the same thing from you. No matter how hard life gets, please don't leave."

Rowena looked down. She did plan to leave after she killed her father. She didn't think there was a future in this relationship after she showed who she really was, a broken woman with nothing to offer Raphael but heartbreaks and problems.

She really didn't see any other way out. If she kept being her father's puppet, she would suffer for the whole eternity, because it was obvious that her father wanted to be an immortal no matter what. He would always be on her back.

She couldn't tell them that she was abused and used and that she hated him. Draco Roseland had his way with people and they would believe him over her. Rowena cringed at the memory of how King Areal and Queen Lilith thought so highly of her father.

Draco Roseland must die and Rowena would kill him. She dreaded the day when Raphael would look at her with disappointment in his eyes and everyone around him told him how he had chosen the wrong woman to marry.

Rowena was crying because tonight she wished she could stay.

Would Raphael love her enough not to leave her even after she was outed to be the bad woman that she was?

Raphael wished he could read minds. Seeing the woman he loved struggle with conveying her feelings made him feel helpless.

"I will never leave you," he said again to reaffirm his statement. "And if you ever leave for whatever reason, I will go and find you to bring you back to my side. I can be stubborn, even if I don't look like it."

He added jokingly, to lighten the mood, "Don't think you can get rid of me after you accepted my love and agreed to marry me."

It worked because Rowena suddenly chuckled and wiped her eyes. "I am not getting rid of you."

"Great! Because my parents don't take returned goods."

Rowena let the man hug her and kiss her hair.
