The Devil's Betrothed-Chapter 720: Naked Men And Hot Water Soak
Chapter 720: Naked Men And Hot Water Soak
At Wynters, Lucian arrived to meet his cousin.
"You wanted to talk to me, Aaron?" Lucian asked as he settled in the chair opposite to him.
Aaron hummed, "You must know Ahrens have arrived at Nathan’s estate."
Lucian nodded while he accepted the tea cup from the butler.
"Rina is insisting on meeting Erin," Aaron informed.
Lucian looked at Arron the way he called her name with so much ease. Not lady Erin, but just Erin.
"I have to leave for the north wall construction site urgently, and might take a while to return. So I was wondering if you do me a favor and take Rina to meet Erin," Aaron asked.
Before Lucian could answer, a fuming young lady barged inside the drawing room, "Brother Aaron, I told you to take me there, not him. I don’t want to go with him. He doesn’t like me."
Aaron kept his calm and said, "Come here."
Rina quietly sat next to him, taking Lucian by surprise at how obedient his stubborn sister acted with Aaron.
"You know what you said just now is not the truth," Aaron told her.
Rina glanced at Lucian and pressed her lips in a thin line.
"I know you want to meet Erin, so now Lucian is the only way you have. If not, wait for me to return from the north." Aaron commented.
She let out a helpless sigh, "Alright. I will do as you say, brother."
Aaron hummed and turned back to Lucian, "It will take almost an hour to reach there. Make sure both of you stay warm during the journey."
Lucian hummed and looked at Rina, "We will leave in half an hour."
"I will pack my things," she replied.
Lucian nodded and left and Aaron turned back to his sister.
"Rina, I know you miss Lucian. Now you are getting a chance, try to make up with him. I am sure he didn’t mean what you think. He loves you."
Rina nodded, and observed Aaron wordlessly.
"What?" he asked.
"You used to be like a wooden log, no expressions on your face, no emotions in your eyes and seemed to lack vocabulary on how to talk. But now, you have changed. Not much, but at least like rice of grain in the huge tub of rice."
Aaron didn’t know what to say, but since Rina started to stay with him, things started to feel alive to him, rather than gloomy. He looked at the door where Lucian had left.
’Is this why he sent Rina here?’
"What are you thinking?" she asked.
He looked back at her, "Be good to your brother and don’t be at his neck all the time. Learn to give in sometimes."
She huffed, "Now you are acting like him, dictating me on what to do."
He patted her head, "We want the best for you. You are the only sister we two brother have."

After half an hour Lucian and Rina left on a small one hour journey to Nathaniel’s estate.
Lucian climbed the same carriage as Rina, only to hear her say. "You are a rich man. You can get another carriage for yourself."
He looked at his little sister who was bundled into her thick warm wear but was still having chills.
He sat next to her instead of sitting opposite her and pulled her closer. Covering her with another layer of warm cover, he wrapped his long arms around her to make her feel warmer.
Rina pouted but didn’t reject being closer to him. She snuggled against him like a child, feeling comfortable.
Lucian signaled the knights to move ahead. ƒreewebɳovel.com
Soon Rina felt sleepy and closed her eyes and mumbled, "I missed you."
Lucian looked down at her, planted her soft kiss on her forehead and mumbled, "I missed you as well."
Rina fell asleep, while Lucian was wide awake, staring outside the carriage window with a blank gaze. His thoughts leading towards the particular woman who he was going to meet soon.
Erin!
He wondered if he was looking forward to meeting her. He didn’t know what he felt, but all he wished at this moment was to see her, talk to her, get to know how she was doing.
This name Erin seemed to have engraved in his mind so deeply that he could not shake it off even he wished to.

At Nathaniel’s estate.
Making sure all the arrangements were made right for Erin, Nathaniel entered his side of residence.
"Where are they?" Nathaniel asked his butler in a hurry.
Looking apologetic, the butler replied. "Inside your private bath."
Frowning, Nathaniel went upstairs to his floor and entered the huge bath which had a place larger than even his bedchamber and had a lavish hot water pool in the center.
Number of servants were already pouring hot water in it while the men were undressing themselves to get naked entirely.
Rowan had finished removing his clothes and looked at hot water, ready to enter it. "This is what I had been dying for the past two weeks. Damn! Can’t wait to get in."
"Don’t you dare," a voice interrupted him and Rowan turned to look at him, "What did you say, my dear cousin?"
Seeing him all naked, Nathaniel frowned, "Disgusting."
"What’s disgusting about it?/ Rowan looked down towards his entirely naked form, "This is how we were born brother. I am sure you look the same when you remove your clothes. Also, we didn’t feel shameful when the midwife pulled us out in our all naked form, then what’s there to be shy about in front of others. C’mon join us. Get rid of those clothes of yours."
"First you get out of my bath, naked or clothed, I don’t care," Nathaniel warned.
"If I go naked out, I am sure those female servants of your home will leave your home and follow me back to the capital," he shrugged, "such a trouble," and he already stepped in the water, "I am already in. Do whatever you want."
Nathaniel looked at others. Rafal, Imbert and Arthur had already removed their clothes as well and followed Rowan in the water before Nathaniel could stop them.
Nathaniel turned to the butler, "Once they leave, make sure to clean this entire place."
"Yes, My lord."
"Do not bother," Rowan spoke, "until I am here, I am going to use this bath every day. Either you choose to have a naked soak with me or you can bathe somewhere else."
"Only if I could slap that annoying attitude out of yours," Nathaniel growled.
"For now you can slap me with your precious wine collection. Will feel better with this warm soak."
Without a word Nathaniel left as he knew he could not deal with shameless cousin of his.
"Tsk! I wonder when he will stop being annoying?" Rowan commented and looked at the butler, "A fine wine from his collection, please."
The butler left to get it.
"Lucian is coming here with his sister," Arthur informed them.
Rowan raised a brow to hear it, "He is?"
"Rina insisted on meeting Erin after she got to know you people are arriving here. Aaron is busy so he sent Rina with Lucian."
"That’s interesting," Rowan smirked, "How is he with drinks?"
"Quite good," Arthur replied, "There is barely anything that seems to affect that rock of a man, except for the worry about his family."
"We will see," Rowan replied and slid under the water entirely burring his head beneath the water surface.
Rafal looked at him, worry arising in his mind that what his second brother was thinking.
