The dragon's harem-Chapter 1923: Strength Matter
With a sighed, Arad sat on his futon, and then threw a glance at Mira. "We should get the rest on this, in fact, I already told them." πππππ°π²π―π»ππππΉ.ππ¨π
She nodded, "Theyβll take care of Astrid and Frida, itβs not for the others to speak about." She sat beside him, "Itβs like how Cerilla and Jasmine brought their own maids and servants with them."
Astrid sat beside them and threw a smile toward Arad. "Even if we arenβt inheriting this land, weβre still princesses."
Frida added with a sombre face as she looked at the rest of their sisters. "Like them as well, the only difference between us is that we can reach nine tails, while they canβt."
Astrid waved her hand. "Itβs the same with humans, donβt they give the throne to the eldest son? We give it to the one with the most tails."
One of their sisters sat down. "Itβs the birthright. If something happened to our mother, only you two could inherit the shard and keep the lands going strong for eternity. Thatβs why we canβt replace you; weβll die if we as much as touch the shard."
Mira looked at her, and then blinked. "How many tails do you have?"
"Eight, but I only manifested two." She turned around and extended her butt toward Arad and Mira. "You can know how many tails weβll have by touching the tailbone. You can count the budding tails."
Another one of the sisters approached and sat down. "The more potential you have, the slower you grow. My potential was five tails, and Iβm already at my peak." She turned around, and her massive, fluffy five tails danced. "The growth difficulty is proportional to the potential tail count."
"So, it would take a nine-tail potential Fenrir a factor of six effort compared to a three-tail potential Fenrir to grow." He then looked at Astrid and Frida, "That explains their slow growth."
Astrid lifted her hand, and her nails extended into sharp, long, and red claws. "Weβre like our mothers. Iβm quite strong physically, and Frida is good with earth magic."
"I read the report of the river." Arad smiled, "Frida, youβve done a good job. I doubt anyone else wouldβve been able to finish that in such a short time."
She smiled, "Except you, Mother Skoll, and every earth wyrm out there." She leaned back on the wall and stretched her legs. "But I wonβt mind the compliment. I did put several layers of stone and mud at the base to prevent the water from leaking, and I even made sure to allow it to flow where I sensed an underground water reservoir."
One of the Fenrir sisters approached Arad, grabbed him by the shoulders, and started massaging him. "You shouldβve worked them more. The more effort they put in, the stronger theyβll grow after all."
Surprisingly enough, she had just enough strength in her arms that he could feel her trying to massage him. As Arad threw a glance back, he could count seven tails coming out of her lower back.
"A seven-tails fighter?" Arad asked, and she smiled, "An eight-tails brawler, and the eldest here. Call me Fia." She leaned on Aradβs back. "I might not have the same potential as Astrid and Frida, but Iβm powerful enough on my own."
Astrid smiled, "Fia fights with her bare hands and claws. Out of us, she is the best at hand-to-hand combat, even able to keep up with Mother Hati in armed combat."
Fia wrapped her arms around Aradβs neck and started choking him. "You know, I was told youβre far too strong. Can you escape my grip?"
Arad smiled, "Who told you this?"
"Mother said that the best way to turn a dragon on is to offer them a challenge." She leaned toward his ear, "I canβt just let Astrid and Frida take all the fun. I, too, want some action, something that doesnβt include my own fingers."
Astrid sighed, "Our sisters can never marry, the Fenrirβs blood is cursed by eternity. Our power is like poison to the finite things like life other people."
Frida added, "Weβre a unique and holy race, the decedents of a divine beast after all."
Arad blinked, "How come no one told me about this? I slept with you two and nothing bad happened." He looked at them, and Astrid tilted her head. "You just grabbed Motherβs eternity sword, and nothing happened to you. As you said, youβre the strange one."
Arad closed his eyes. "Youβre right."
Fia, who was still choking him, was already sweating. "Hey, hey, hey, Iβve been choking you with all my strength for a while. How come youβre still talking?"
"How should I say this... youβre nowhere near as strong as some of my wives. Nina, Linda, and Gamond are pretty powerful." He reached up, grabbed her forearms, and forced her arms open. "They are far stronger than this."
She growled. "It seems that my approach didnβt work."
Mira laughed, "No, it did. It was more of a cute approach."
"Nah, Iβve just been made fun of. As mother said before, nothing short of a nine-tails is worthy of him." She let go of Arad and gasped for air. Trying to choke him with all of her strength was more exhausting than she expected.
Mira approached her, "No, you did more than enough." She then threw a glance at Arad, "How strong is she compared to me?"
"About seven times more powerful in term of physical strength. She is quite good." He smiled, and Mira leaned on Fiaβs shoulder. "Well, you heard him." She then waved her hand at the rest of the Fenrir sisters, "All of you, come here."
"So, Fia, tell me. Are all of you here for that?" Whispered to her, and quickly got a reply.
"Yes, Mother said to sleep in the same room, and try to make our moves. We were planning to all sleep naked around you today and hope for the best. Mother also told us that violence sometimes turns dragons on, and so I tried that. Of course, she warned us that if we chose that route, weβre most likely to end up with all of our limbs broken."
Mira nodded, "Arad has control, he wonβt go at you like youβre a dragon. But, if you were a drakaina, I bet you would be getting your rear end broken by now. You have as much physical strength as an ancient dragon."
Fia smiled, "Like Claug?" But Mira looked at her with a wry smile, "Of course not, Claug is larger and stronger than normal green dragons her age. She is closer to a great wyrm in physical strength."
"I see..."
Mira then turned toward Arad with a smile. "So, youβve heard them." Even if they were whispering, Arad could hear them clearly. "Iβll go first, then Astrid and Frida, and lastly Fia. The other sisters can have fun after."
"Weβre fine with that." Astrid waved her hand, and Frida nodded. "Go ahead."
