Chapter 139: Staying the Night **

Accommodations in the crystal spire were as nice as one would have expected. Lioraeth was many things, but she wasn’t cheap.

The exuberant wealth she possessed was on display in every corner of her home. Something she showed great pride in demonstrating to her guests.

Each of the horsemen was offered their own rooms. However, the boys were the only ones who accepted. For some reason, Dakota had requested to sleep with Nila, and the young elf seemed as if she were relieved that her sister had made the offer.

Now, instead of lying in bed at night with her thoughts crippling her, she could chatter with Dakota until she passed out or ran out of things to talk about. Whichever came first.

Solomon was in the bathroom, sitting on the edge of the tub as steam rose from the scalding water around his ankles.

"Are you..." He bit his hip to suppress a groan. "Sure that this is something you should be doing at the moment..?"

Yari looked up from between his legs. Her brows furrowed with worry. "Am I... bad at this..?"

Her hand gently glided up and down her lover’s shaft. She pressed her lips into a thin line as she stared at the twitching veins. "I tried to mimic exactly what Jiaoying did, but... I fear your size makes the task a bit difficult..."

Solomon smiled at her with uncertain eyes. "That wasn’t necessarily what I was referring to. I was referencing being intimate so soon after your spat with your sister."

Yari suddenly looked uninterested. "Oh... that. Pay it no mind, Mon Trésor. Just focus on me for a bit."

Before Solomon could further press her, Yari gave the underside of her lover’s shaft a very long lick. Her tongue glided across every vein as she silently watched Solomon’s every reaction.

"... You’ll have to forgive me for having a hard time shaking that from my mind... I have never witnessed a fight between sisters with such intensity."

Yari lifted one of her hands to cup her lover as she traced her tongue around the tip. Solomon immediately let his head rock back as the bliss consumed him.

"It’s... not that uncommon for us, actually. Our mother was an Amazon. It made us a little bit more... rambunctious than the our brother."

Yari made another attempt at her earlier effort. She took her lover’s tip into her mouth, slowly wrapping her tongue around his circumference to stimulate him before she began trying to take him into her throat.

Solomon’s eyes rolled around in his head. He grabbed a fistful of her hair out of instinct, and though Yari did seem surprised, judging by the fact that she allowed him to keep his hand there, she clearly did not hate it.

"F-Fuck..." Solomon gnashed his teeth together; his difficulty at forming coherent thoughts increased by leaps and bounds. "An amazon... Never heard of those before. I thought... Ugh... That Ilim was only populated by Elves...?"

Yari took her lover out of her mouth and frowned at him. "You certainly do have many other things that you’re worried about that aren’t me..."

Solomon looked down at her and grinned monstrously. Yari knew that she had pressed a button of his, but she couldn’t exactly tell how.

There was a splash of water and a small yelp before Yari’s perspective had changed entirely.

The next thing she knew, she was resting her thighs on top of Solomon’s shoulders with her privates directly in his face. Her back was pressed against the cool bathroom wall as he held her by her butt to support her.

"I would hardly say that... You and Jiaoying consume much more of my thoughts than is healthy." Solomon left a slow, methodical trail of kisses and gentle bites along her inner thighs. "I simply want to know everything about both of you."

Yari swallowed nervously, the heat rising to her cheeks. Oral sex was the one part of intimacy that she had yet to fully get used to.

She couldn’t comprehend why her partners would want to put her mouth down there so badly. But she couldn’t deny that the pleasure it brought her was almost calamitous.

She bit her lip as Solomon’s lips drew closer to her heat. Her slick folds twitched in anticipation of what was to come.

"Amazons are... recluses... They stay very deep within Ilim, far deeper than any human has ever been allowed to travel. They’re an all-woman species of warriors who... t-take immense pride in their talent for bloodshed."

Solomon smirked slightly as he admired Yari’s precious flower. The healthy pink color of her inner depths contrasted perfectly with the decadent mocha of her skin. A small strip of curly black hair sat just atop her mound, completing a profound picture of womanhood.

"I see... That does help to explain things a bit." Solomon kissed her lips. teasingly.

Yari let out a small whimper as she pushed her fingers through his hair. "And... What is that supposed to mean exactly?"

A dry chuckle echoed through the bathroom. "Not a thing, my love."

Solomon was finally unable to resist his own hunger and dove into Yari’s depths. He greedily lapped up all of the juice that ran from her garden, no matter the crevice.

Yari was shocked when her lover inserted his tongue somewhere she’d never believed he’d consider. As strange as the new sensation was, it was not at all unpleasant, and it sufficiently sapped away all of her resistance.

Her mind was thoroughly cleared of other thoughts for the time being.

Even though her body was still sore from her spat with her sister, Solomon was not necessarily gentle with her. The earlier attempts she’d made to goad him were more than just a little bit effective.

As they transitioned from the bathroom to the bedroom, they took occasional breaks between intimacy to resume regular conversation as if they weren’t connected.

"You still haven’t said how you feel about seeing your sister again..." Solomon took one of Yari’s nipples into his mouth and tormented the other with her free hand.

"Do we... Have to talk about my family right now...?" Yari gasped.

"We can certainly stop what we’re doing if that will make it easier for you."

Yari growled as she turned her head toward the wall.

"...I do not know for sure whether or not my feelings on the matter are fully settled... I know why she did what she did. I understand her feeling as though she had no choice. And yet... I wish she had given me some sort of sign... Something, anything to let me know that she was alive... Maybe then I would not have..."

Finally, Solomon realized exactly what was troubling Yari. He removed her nipple from his mouth and loomed over her, taking her face into his hands.

"You fear that your sister will come to judge you for what you were willing to do to bring her back."

"...You always were much smarter than people initially gave you credit for." Yari smiled halfheartedly.

"No jokes, my dear. You do not need to carry such a worry in your heart. Anyone who has ever known loss will be able to understand why you were willing to go so far. All of the decisions you made were a reflection of your love for her. They were not a darker premonition of your character."

Solomon gently pushed her hair behind her ear and placed a lingering kiss on her forehead.

"Yari Maelle De Sylvarre is a woman with a heart of gold. Surely, your sister, more than anyone else, will be able to understand that."

When Solomon pulled away, his eyes lingered on the gentle tears running from Yari’s eyes. He wiped away the drops with his thumb, and she placed her hand over his own.

"You begin to make me wonder, Solomon A’kenai... Exactly what dark deeds would I be willing to commit out of my love for you..?"

Solomon’s eyes slowly widened.

Yari must have taken great joy in the stunned look on her lover’s face, because her tears instantly changed into beautiful laughter.

She was soon cut off when Solomon stole her lips with a newly intense fervor.

"Ah, wait..!"

Yari somehow managed to break away by placing her hands on Solomon’s chest.

"Can I take this to mean... You love me as well?"

For a woman who was so sharp all the time, Yari had some unreasonably cute sides.

Such a woman was impossible not to care for.

"Mark this, Yari Maëlle..." Solomon slowly kissed Yari from her neck to her cheeks.

"I am devoted to you. Totally. Completely. You have had my heart from the moment that I glimpsed your true form."

"... Does that mean yes?"

"...Yes, Yari. I love you."

The elf grinned giddily, turning away from him. She naturally slipped back into the use of her native language.

"Bon... je crois que tu peux recommencer à me faire perdre la tête..."

Solomon hadn’t the foggiest clue what her words meant. But with their hearts as connected as they were, it was rather easy for him to get the gist.

-

The next morning, Solomon was sent flying into a rocky stone wall.

He fell to the ground, the back of his head smashed by the stone, and blood trailing from his lips.

Slowly, he lifted his head, Giselle was walking towards him with her brow furrowed in doubt.

"...Huh. Perhaps I put a little too much into that."
