The Evil Lord's Wife Has Spirit Blood-Chapter 369
In Michelle’s space, Tenether looked around, seeing all the creatures moving around.
The space was divided by elements, so each beast could live in the closest thing to its natural habitat.
Within the space were also Michelle’s contracted beasts, and they didn’t know about the changes in Tenether.
So, not suspecting anything, Snow was next to him in a matter of seconds.
"Tene!" she jumped at him to hug him.
"What did Michelle want?"
But Tenether didn’t let her hug him and dodged her, making Snow land on the ground.
She didn’t fall down because she had quick reflexes and stabilized herself, but she was still angry.
"Tene! What was that for?"
Unhappy and headstrong as she was, she lunged at Tenether again, begrudgingly determined to get the hug.
From Michelle’s memories, Tenether didn’t really know what kind of relationship his childish version had with her contracted beasts, so he didn’t expect that to happen.
He did know that the relationship was positive, but not that to the extent where Snow would jump at him to hug him the moment she saw him.
So, every time Snow lunged at him, the tiny black cat jumped to the side, enraging the Divine Snow Fox further and further.
"Come here!" Snow took on her beast form and proceeded to chase Tenether.
So the situation in the space turned quite funny.
From up above, Cold Flame watched what was going on, and Mare was doing the same, just coiled around a nearby tree.
And down on the ground, a huge white fox was running after a tiny black kitten, clearly angry and looking like it was about to swallow the kitten whole.
Tenether and Snow ran around for quite a while.
Tenether had no desire to be hugged, but he also didn’t feel like fighting back against Snow.
That would hurt not only her, but also Michelle, and when Tenether promised Michelle to give her a month to break the contract on her own, he basically also promised not to harm her.
That also included not harming her contracted beasts.
When Snow finally gave up, Tenether went on to explore the space.
The foxes from the lower realm’s snowy mountains were mostly concentrated in the ice element area, which was similar to where they were from, but they could also be seen all around the space.
Unlike the young creatures that had already hatched in the space, the foxes used to live in the real world, and they brought over some habits that rubbed off on the beasts they were taking care of.
Seeing all that, Tenether had to admit he was amazed.
From Michelle’s memories, he knew about the existence of the foxes in the space, and that Michelle had a deal with them that they would take care of the hatched animals.
But he wasn’t expecting the extent of it.
Very well, the foxes would fulfill the promise if they just made sure the animals didn’t starve by teaching them to get food in the space and how to move around, but instead, they were clearly methodically teaching the animals how to survive in the real world.
That meant that once those hatched animals grew up, Michelle could let them out of the space, either to use them, make a deal with them, or just set them free in an environment suitable for them.
Tenether really felt like asking the foxes why they were upholding the deal to such an extent, when they could as well do just the bare minimum.
But most of the foxes he came across weren’t the ones powerful enough to be intelligent, so he couldn’t ask anything.
And Tenether had genuinely no idea where the more intelligent foxes were.
Probably somewhere in the ice element area, but Tenether couldn’t even be sure about that.
And that area was quite big.
Finding the foxes’ den there would be impossible.
Also, being more powerful, the intelligent foxes also had bigger resistance to uncomfortable environments, so they could as well be taking care of the animals that were living in other areas.
So, Tenether just kept exploring, only able to hope to randomly come across an intelligent fox.
While he was moving around, he could hear the flapping of wings above him the whole time.
Cold Flame was observing him closely, obviously aware that Tenether wasn’t the same as the childish monster he used to be before Michelle summoned him out of the space.
After some time, Cold Flame flapped his wings to land next to Tenether.
The two didn’t talk.
Cold Flame had the ability to talk, but Tenether didn’t.
Michelle’s contracted beasts also couldn’t understand his meows and other sounds as their souls hadn’t been altered like Michelle’s.
Theoretically, they could communicate through the contracts they had with Michelle, but there was still some difference between a contract with a beast and a contract with a monster.
So that kind of communication wasn’t really all that good.
In the past, it didn’t really matter.
With his childish way of acting, anyone could understand what Tenether wanted without any talking.
Tenether’s desires and intentions could be understood through nonverbal communication, and he, himself, could understand everyone because he was an intelligent monster and could understand human speech.
In the meantime, outside the space, back in Alexander’s room, Michelle stared down at Alexander’s neck where she pulled down the neckline of his robe.
Every now and then, she would press her fingers against Alexander’s collarbone, wondering where and how hard to bite.
Finally, a moment later, she lowered her head and bit down hard on his collarbone, stopping only when she felt the metallic scent of blood on her tongue.
When she looked down at the spot, the skin there didn’t break, but the blood could already be tasted.
"How hard before it leaves a scar?" she looked at Alexander’s face.
Alexander couldn’t see his own collarbone, but he could feel the sting of the bite.
"Well, you have to find that out yourself..." that seemed like a taunt for Michelle to dare bite again.
Or was that something Alexander really desired?
Michelle chuckled.
"You perverted bastard. You do enjoy pain."
After saying that, she bit the same spot again, her teeth pressing right against the spots from before.
As Michelle’s teeth sank into Alexander’s skin again, a groan left his mouth, making Michelle raise a brow.
She couldn’t even tell whether he was just messing with her head, or if that groan was genuine.
For quite a while, Michelle kept her teeth pressed into Alexander’s skin, even after the taste of blood filled her mouth.
Only when she felt the liquid drip into her mouth did she open her teeth and look up at Alexander’s face again with a grin.
Her teeth were bloodied, making her look like a vampiric descendant.
Maybe if she wasn’t wearing the disguise mask, she would have looked like a real vampire.
Especially with her white hair and purple eyes.
"Enjoy the taste of my blood?" Alexander smirked as he reached to his neck to touch the wound.
Two rows of teeth were perfectly drawn into his flesh.
And it stung when he touched it.
Michelle moved her eyes to the bleeding wound.
"It tastes like any other blood," she smiled carelessly.
"Nothing special."
Alexander’s eyes narrowed a bit.
"You’ve drank blood before?" somehow, he didn’t like the thought of that.
Michelle shrugged.
"You’ve never ended up with broken lips? It’s only natural to know what blood tastes like. It’s always the same."
Alexander shook his head, holding back a chuckle.
"So you practice self‑cannibalism, drinking your own blood?"
That was a teasing question.
Michelle lifted a brow.
"You do that too. I’m sure."
Secretly, she clenched her hand into a fist, so if Alexander denied it, she could prove him wrong. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
And Alexander did try to say that he didn’t practice what he called self‑cannibalism.
In the instant he said that, Michelle’s hand flew out and she landed a punch on his mouth, breaking the skin on his lips.
"Now, do you taste the blood?" she smiled wide, clearly satisfied with what she did.
Alexander touched his lips, before licking the blood.
In the difference of not even a full minute, Michelle had given him two wounds that stung at touch.
"You really like blood, don’t you? And you are just trying to make me a cannibal too."
So it seemed Alexander was determined to anger Michelle, saying all kinds of unreasonable bullshit that came to his mind.
Michelle frowned before landing another punch on Alexander’s face.
"I don’t know. Do I like blood?"
Since Alexander decided to anger her using blood, she would show him all the blood he could ever dream of.
So a moment later, Alexander’s face was bleeding all over, but that guy still had a grin on his face, holding back laughing.
"Darling, if you don’t stop soon, I will make you bleed too!" his voice was clearly amused as he talked while Michelle continued the onslaught of punches.
