The Faceless Billionaire Celebrity Wife-Chapter 284: Greet My Niece or Nephew.
"I actually bought it just a few minutes ago," Ethan stated, his eyes blank with a hint of confusion. He hadn’t really thought of what to use the island for as he had only bought it because Shikera refused to follow him back to the city.
He knew he would have to leave sooner or later because of the two corporations and also to settle with the Jordans, and finally, to decide on what to do with Natasha and her daughter. Even if Shikera decided to come back with him, she surely wouldn’t be comfortable with living with them in the same house. While he was doing all this, the only way he would be rest assured of Shikera’s safety was if he could monitor every single incident occuring on this island.
Shikera’s eyes widened when he mentioned a few minutes ago. "Why?!" she exclaimed. Wasn’t it supposed to take a lot of paperworks to purchase an island of this size, even if the buyer was Ethan DeLoach?
"To make sure you remain safe. After all, you refused to leave with me to the city. I had to act fast before any other person would take the chance before me, just like your brother here," Ethan replied. He continued, "You can just live your life as you have been doing. I won’t disturb anything in this place except transportation; using a canoe isn’t safe. And for the inhabitants, none of them have to know the island has been sold."
Shikera’s mind was finally put to rest when she heard that.
"I agree with your stance on the unsafe transportation but you don’t need to keep me safe. I will go back with you," she said.
Ethan raised his brows, his eyes searching hers for any sign of a joke. When he found none, he brought out his phone from his pocket and placed a call to Raymond.
"Get Elovien ready," he ordered. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"No, you didn’t." Noah shook his head in disbelief. He had been pacing the room but now, he stopped to look at her where she was sitting on the bed.
Shikera sighed, "Noah..."
"Don’t Noah me, Shikera. I won’t accept this. It’s alright that you got pregnant and want to keep your baby, it’s totally alright. Even though I really want to stop you, I won’t because I know this is what you really want. But you are going too far..."
"I know, Noah. And that’s why—"
"No, you don’t know anything. You are two months pregnant but Ethan doesn’t know? He’s your baby’s father. He should have been the first to know!" Noah was confused. He had no idea on whose stand to side. He could totally under Shikera’s sentiment and her hesitance in telling Ethan she was pregnant, especially after hearing all her explanation, but he also could not completely support her.
Of course, he supported Shikera hundred percent but what kind of brother would be happy watching his sister walk towards death door? However, he also knew he could not stop her. Ethan was the only one who had the ability to do that.
As if she could tell what was on Noah’s mind, Shikera spoke up, "Please Noah, don’t tell him for now. I...I was the one who seduced him even though I knew he liked me so you can say all this is my fault. What if he finds out about the contract our fathers signed? He might think I did it intentionally. Ethan hates reporters and he’s barely treating them like humans because of me. If he finds out—"
"It’s alright," Noah stopped her. He could hear the desperation in his sister’s voice, the reality of the situation dawning on him. He had thought Ethan was the one who loved his sister more, but it seemed it was vice versa. Or was it that they both loved each other equally, albeit abundantly?
"It’s alright? You won’t tell Ethan?" Shikera asked, her eyes wide in anticipation.
"I won’t," Noah agreed. "What do you need to do before telling him?"
"I just need the contract that states that he can have all of mine and your shares if he gets me pregnant. Daddy will want to null the contract so we will also be able to null the one he signed too," Shikera explained.
"And how will you get Ethan to sign it?" Noah asked again.
Shikera smiled. "Don’t worry about that. I have a plan. You should just help me get the contract ready, and then everything will be alright."
"How many days will you need? I don’t think I can keep my mouth shut for a long time."
"Jeez, Noah. Just get me the contract and I’ll be done two days after. Don’t think too much about all this," Shikera chided lightly.
Noah watched her silently for a few seconds before nodding. A smile identical to his sister’s soon crossed his face.
"I heard you. How about I greet my little niece or nephew now?" he asked, to see Shikera eye him like he had given a ridiculous request.
"My husband will be the—Don’t touch me!" she yelled, bursting into laughter.
The door opened just then and Ethan walked in, raising his brows at the peculiar position he met the siblings. Shikera was holding a pillow high up while Noah was standing just before her.
"What are you doing to my wife?" he asked Noah, even though he could clearly see who was doing whatever to the other person.
Noah scoffed, "I really shouldn’t have agreed to leave with you two. You will only oppress me all through the journey back."
Ethan shrugged, "You are still free to leave. My wife and I could use the privacy."
Noah didn’t wait for any more mocking remark before storming out of the room. He might as well find a girlfriend for the night amongst the ladies on the island.
Back in the room, Shikera went to hug Ethan for comfort as she asked,
"When are we leaving?"
"Tomorrow morning," he replied.
